Fantastic experience: First time at the gym and it’s great! So much equipment to choose from. I was really anxious about going in but everyone really does do their own thing! Very tidy. The only fault was the showers. The changing rooms are so clean but the shower pressure isn’t amazing. Can’t really deduct a star as your going gym to work out. Very much worth the money!!!

Positive experience: I like it the problem with gym's is they are only as good as the members to a point.As the saying goes "your mum doesn't work here keep the gym tidy " that's the only thing that stands out for me equipment not been put away scattered everywhere. Plenty of equipment fee weights and machines,showers and big changing room though more lockers needed.Love the 24hr access.Lack of parking makes it a pain yellow lines everywhere, multi story is ok within its opening hours.

Negative experience: No have hot water for shower and wash hand.

Positive experience: The gym is independent which already puts it ahead of your average commercial gym. The selection of equipment is fantastic and I love that it is 24hrs. I also really like that the changing rooms are secure and accessed with a code. What lets the gym down is untidiness. I think this is down to multiple factors the number of weight plates and lack of storage for them, people being lazy and not putting their weights back (which obviously is not the gym’s fault) and there doesn’t seem to be staff regularly making sure equipment is tidied away. Another thing which lets it down is that it does not have a day pass option. So if you want to bring a friend to train with you you can’t.

Fantastic experience: A nice place great people

Negative experience: I never been so frustrated like this. I purchased a membership last Saturday (paid on Thursday), never got any confirmation via emails, never got any information how to access the gym. Emailed 2 times, no one answered me. The phone number doesn't exist. Messaged on Insta and Facebook, no one answered either. Fell like I just threw £45 to the drain. Your customer service is a complete joke.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym, however my little brother has been wanting to go a few times when I’m not there but not all the time he has access to mobile data, and there’s no way of him getting on the Wi-Fi if he can’t access in as I also don’t have the password as not known where to look any way we can resolve this?

Positive experience: Some of us are unable to scan the QR code inside due to inadequate lighting. However, I like the gym :D

Positive experience: Good gym, clean. The equipment all works plenty of dumbells up to 70kg. there is enough kit to train every body part. The only criticism would be not enough 20kg plates to cover leg press, bench press and plate loaded machines. when you have a few people training heavy. Plenty of cardio kit also

Negative experience: I am absolutely fuming over my recent gym debacle. Mold has infested the showers, despite my explicit request to store my bike indoors to prevent theft, it was still stolen. And to add insult to injury, the internet is a complete joke inside. What's even more ridiculous is that this sorry excuse for a gym is situated right opposite the police station! It's utterly unbelievable that this disgrace of a gym is still in operation. They couldn't care less about their patrons' well-being or security.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym good selection of equipment , also being 24 hours is a bonus

Negative experience: I'm utterly baffled by how this gym has managed to maintain a 4.7-star rating. My one-month stint here has been nothing short of disappointing. The disorganization and appalling lack of hygiene, particularly in the changing rooms, have left me utterly disgusted. While I did reach out to Phoenix Gym about these issues, their swift response only emphasized the need for renovation. It's disheartening that the standards had to plummet before any action was taken. My hope is that my feedback, though critical, will be taken constructively to ensure a better experience for all members.

Fantastic experience: I joined in 2022 when I moved to Wellingborough.. I have found the gym has changed over that time. Great atmosphere at the gym, equipment is great to use. Members are friendly and willing to help with advice. Personal trainer very friendly.

The staff is super friendly and the other customers are just as welcoming and ready to help out. The equipment is always up to date and the best. You never feel alone or unwanted, it's like being part of a big family. Just awesome.

Fantastic experience: Best gym hands down around Northamptonshire.. the equipment is all great and high quality, the improvements they have made recently are so worth it, lovely staff, lighting is also fantastic. Only thing I would want would be another leg extension machine as it’s very rare for it to be free

Fantastic experience: Gym is very well equipped they have very good mashines, not the cheap leisure centers kind of mashines, also in very good location just next to parking and the best thing is the 24 hr opening times.

Fantastic experience: this gym has been transformed and seems to be continuously improving. i absolutely love this gym, i love all the staff and they have been so helpful every time i’ve needed them. when i first started the gym earlier last year i was so nervous and one of the workers showed me how to use all the machines and made me feel right at home. heard there’s plans for some more improvements i’ve the next few months which i’m looking forward to!! think this gym is handled by the staff really well:)) will probably never change :) there’s a good range of equipment here and is kept very clean and hygienic

Fantastic experience: Joined late 2022 and it’s changed so much that time. Better equipment, new classes, has a great atmosphere and has more weights than cardio so you won’t be waiting around for the equipment you want to use. Staff are lovely and friendly and help with anything. The best is that they’re open 24 hours and you can go literally any time of day. Phoenix gym really is the best gym in Wellingborough.

Fantastic experience: What a transformation… I’ve been at this gym for 6+ years when it has been under different names and finally its had the TLC it needed. Now we have lots of new equipment, everything you could possibly need in fact and the atmosphere is always a vibe. Everyone seems to be there for their own reason and get done what they need to, they have zero tolerance for inappropriate behaviour also which for me as a woman in the gym is so refreshing. Wouldn’t want to let out my frustrations anywhere else.
