Fantastic experience: Excellent gym, plenty of equipment and a dumbbell rack that runs for days! I've visited 3 times now and staff are friendly the people at the gym are willing to step in to spot if needed. I cant recommend the gym enough if you live or visiting Huddersfield.

Fantastic experience: The gym has had huge renovations over the past few years and is continuously improving, new equipment and facilities are being added on a regular basis to improve it further - with more in the pipeline Staff are friendly and helpful and the gym as a whole has a fantastic atmosphere with its like minded members Hands down the best gym in Huddersfield!

Fantastic experience: The range of equipment available is second to none and the place has just had face lift which has made it more spacious. Always a friendly atmosphere and I've met a lot of good people there. Owner is a top guy and is always listening to members feedback to try and improve the gym.

Positive experience: I went there for a few months in 2017/2018 before I had to stop due to an injury. Good old school gym, nice staff, nice gym members. I also liked that they had a punching bag upstairs that you could have a blast on...

Negative experience: Dirty disgusting outdated and dangerous equipment. Owners are rude and just don’t give a damn.

Fantastic experience: Friday night is pheonix Karate, 7 to 8:30pm excellent class for both beginners and experienced alike. There are also kick boxing and body conditioning classes throughout the week.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym for those serious about serious gains. One floor full of heavy iron to work all the muscles on the human body. Free weights, machines, free weight machines (seriously, they have one or two custom made items that work really well). This is not a place with yoga mats and bosi balls, there are no spin classes there is no holistic sauna or cafe serving 6 fruit smoothies. That being said there are a few CV machines such as bikes, cross trainers and running machines. What you get is a return to the old school, no fuss dedicated temple to body building. Turn up train hard go home. There are locker rooms with showers and lockers to stow your clothes, bag etc. Bring your own padlock for security. While Maloneys can be a male dominated gym at times, the women that do train there I have only ever seen treated with respect and left well alone to do there own thing.

Fantastic experience: So drove from halifax today for a gym shesh and iv got to say it's a class gym and really friendly staff I'm definitely going to use this gym again if you want an old gym then this is the place honestly drop the soft stuff and try this place u won't go back to the nice warm gym thanks Maloneys
