Fantastic experience: Fabulous

Negative experience: Wate in pool very,very cold

Positive experience: The gym here was lovely! However the equipment here are a bit rusty and there isn't a large selection of equipment. The music was perfect selection to have a good workout sesh. The people that work out here are super friendly and nice! I love the gyms modern equipment with the screens and scenic walks.

Fantastic experience: The Aztec is a great place in general, not just the gym. The gym has all the facilities you need to train, the pool is amazing which has a sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. There are also extra treatments you can have, hot stones, beauty, fire and ice, and there's also a water garden. I love to train, swim, then have some food in the restaurant and sometimes bring the kids. It's an amazing place....

Positive experience: It’s a nice place to come and chill, have a swim. Stunning surroundings. I’ve recently just got a membership for gym and swim. And to be honest I’m a bit gutted about the gym. Equipment needs up dating, it’s very basic and out dated. No up to date weight machines, very old weights and bars, and sorry to say, a bit rusty. Only reason I chose to join is because it doesn’t have a lot of foot traffic out of season, and that suits me. But other than that, it does have everything you need to have a pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: pool is nice and fairly cheap. sports hall is great for a game of badminton and the table tennis tables are in decent nick.

Fantastic experience: Nice gym fee weights and machines. Clean and tidy treadmill ,rowers and cross trainers enough weight for most people also has AC and water supplies

Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience. Lovely, friendly staff. I was able to stay all day if I wanted to. They had a relaxing room, with a nice coffee machine, which was free. Highly recommend the cappuccino. Would definitely go again.

Fantastic experience: My friend took me here for my birthday. £6, good value for a swim, sauna and jacuzzi.

Negative experience: Rip off gym membership.. Paid a year upfront and after lockdown they tried to steal 4 months of my membership so I sent them a county court summons..once they received that they paid back my 8 months plus the court cost into my bank the same day..

Fantastic experience: Friendly gym with adequate equipment. Proper Covid procedures including adequate sanitiser for equipment. Not the cheapest but air con works and all round good experience.

Positive experience: Only decent pool in Tq for swimming. Gym OK. No hair dryer, no swim kit dryer, no free shower/body wash. It is a hotel so guests use pool.

Negative experience: Gets my vote for the least helpful staff member. I’d like to know about pool membership please. Come here to talk about it. Can you tell me over the phone? Tells me one membership and when I say I don’t think that will suit, he says no I don’t expect it will. Charming ! You obviously do not want paying customers. But plenty of others do. So I will not get to visit your hotel again or pay several hundred pounds for a pool membership.

Positive experience: The studio classes are really very good and the instructors all enthusiastic, communicate very clearly, take into account different levels and generally do a first rate job. Top marks there. However the studio is often dirty. Monday morning it was really quite unpleasant. The reception staff stand out by being particularly unenthusiastic. It's as if they don't want you there. Some training needed I think. Customer service these days is usually very good. This is not. No smile, they barely look you in the face, never a friendly greeting and when I asked about membership, it was as if the couldn't be bothered.

Fantastic experience: Good sized gym area with easy to use, up to date equipment. Lovely clean pool area with communal changing facilities for families. Staff are friendly, helpful and always on hand. All in all a great place to visit to enjoy your leisure time.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant Gym! Brand new equipment, lovely pool, steam room sauna and jacuzzi to relax in after a hard session in the gym. And studio classes too what more do you need!

Fantastic experience: Great facilities, friendly staff and environment. Perfect mini pool which is really warm, great for a swim with your kids. Great range of equipment in the Gym and the Sauna, Steam Room, Jacuzzi and Swimming Pools are a great way to relax after a session. The quality of the design is first class and I would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere, non intimidating and funky new equipment - even watch YouTube and surfing the net on the joggers and bikes!
