Fantastic experience: I love Holmer Park, I have been many times and it doesn’t disappoint. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. There was a lot of building work going on when I visited last, but this didn’t stop the enjoyment of the day. They have recently upgraded their pool area which offers more space for people visiting on spa trips!

Fantastic experience: I signed up a month ago. It's brilliant. Clean and big facilities. Spacious gym, divided into sections, swimming pool, sauna, and steam room. I'm really enjoying going there. Staff is very friendly. I haven't used spa yet.

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing spa day for my birthday today. The staff are super helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is very welcoming, calming and relaxing. Well-presented, clean and tidy spa with a wide range facilities. I had a ‘work it out’ massage treatment today by Danica who was very professional and did a fantastic job! Thank you very much, I will definitely recommend Holmer Park and Spa and will be back soon!

Fantastic experience: Superb place - absolutely cannot fault it. The staff are all friendly and welcoming, everything is well organised and runs like clockwork, the facilities are absolutely spotless and the food is amazing! It's even better than any of the reviews I read before booking my spa day. Large pool, plenty of loungers, two hot tubs, a sauna, a steam room, an experience shower and two bubbly foot things. Also had the greatest massage and an incredible lunch. Cannot wait to go back! Worth every penny!

Positive experience: Very disappointed with this venue We had an appointment to look around before possibly joining Holmer Park We arrived 10 minutes early and sat waiting for 24 minutes before deciding to leave It was Bank Holiday Monday and very busy What we saw were people arriving for Day Spas & that seemed more important to staff on this particular day We decided it was not for us!

Fantastic experience: Attended for a spa day on bank holiday Monday. Really enjoyed the experience. Staff were lovely, treatments were amazing and the facilities great. It was quite busy especially around the pool but this was as expected due to being a bank holiday. I had a spa day package with 120 minutes of treatments, being the deep tissue massage and personalised facial. My therapist was lovely and recommended ways to improve my muscle tension. The spa provided towels and robes and lockets for belongings. The package also included a light lunch which was lovely - you get to choose off the breakfast/ brunch menu and it comes with a drink. Would visit again

Positive experience: Went with my wife for a Spa day with afternoon tea. It's always a relaxing day. I think perhaps the decor, furniture and carpets could do with a makeover in the cafe/ restaurant areas. The spa/ pool and changing rooms are very clean and attractive.

Negative experience: After coming to visit today( 11/02/24) the least I can say is I was disappointed. Whilst I completely understand there is a business being run here I feel the priority’s aren’t in the right places as I left today feeling more up tight and stressed then when I came in. First impressions are set so high when staff are very welcoming but that wasn’t the lasting impression today… There are rule’s everywhere to say you can’t claim loungers with your belongings in order to make it fair,myself and my partner had no lounger for several hours due to this not being enforced and many loungers empty but with people’s belongings on them. The heated loungers also had a 15 minute rule but people were on there for 45 minutes or more at a time,another rule not being enforced. When we did manage to get a lounger the cleaner was then hoovering which was not adding to the “spa” experience we had paid for and we’re still waiting to experience… With all of these it seems like the place was over crowded. People who had paid for a spa day didn’t have loungers to relax on, the atmosphere, loud noise, hoovering also added to the lack of “ spa “ experience. There was also people there for their regular Sunday swim which isn’t a problem but didn’t make it feel relaxing either. Unfortunately this resulted in us leaving early and feeling very disappointed and feeling our money had been wasted.

Fantastic experience: Got given gift voucher of Afternoon Tea for Two and really enjoyed it. Staff were really friendly from the time of booking to finish. Had to take some home as there were quite a lot for two.

Massage I had was fantastic but the spa had too many people there so nowhere available to sit as people left their towels on beds etc to reserve them despite the notices around and sauna, steam room and jacuzzi all full. Ended up sitting for most of the day in the relax room as only place to sit down

Positive experience: For my wife's birthday she got a present of a voucher for the Spa, and incredibly, for an evening "session" ( if that is what you call a visit to a spa, you can understand it is not something I do very often) we got the pair of us in, which was a pleasant surprise. I guess it is a taster for those wanting to find out if they want to pay the monthly subscription. We filled out the obligatory questionnaire, about our allergies and what our facial cleansing regimen was, I put "wash" as my answer. My wifes response to the question checked about 10 boxes, incredible! With forms handed in, robes dispensed, the door code revealed, we descended through a labyrinth of corridors into the bowels of the place, and into a large underground pool area. It is slightly romanesque, with large square pillars in the pool. The pool was big, with no deep end and a separate area for children ( with parents) to splash about in. We were there in the evening, and there were no children in at that time. The sauna was big and busy, and somehow they had managed to make it smell nice in which is unusual, as in my limited experience, saunas generally smell a bit hot and sweaty. Didn't try the steam room so can't comment. They had two big hot tubs that alternated working in five minutes intervals, we jumped from one to the other for a while to keep in the bubbles. There were a few different showers, some with lights and some foot baths, all a bit too complicated for me. After a sauna I want a simple cold shower, not trying to work out what the hell the shower will do, but I am sure with a half hour instruction they could do all sorts of pulsing and other exotic things that are probably good for you. There was a very sweet pool attendant who when I lost my goggles was helpful. I wear glasses so I am half blind when I have to take them off, and need assistance to find things. We found them, not where I thought I had left them, so although I felt a bit daft, it did give me the opportunity to talk and find out a bit more about the place. My wife relaxed on the recliners and read a book around the pool with quite a few others, a bit like around the pool on a sunny holiday but underground like in a dystopian future world. We only looked at the people in the gym, running and cycling while going nowhere. Lifting heavy things then putting them down again. I get to do all of that while I am at home under the watchful eye of my personal trainer and harshest critic, the wife. My heavy lifting involves getting stuff up in the loft, so I have to climb a ladder at the same time, you don't get that in the gym. Getting a double bed up curved stairs wrestling with a mattress, being guided on how not to scratch the paint on the walls while maintaining a happy mood, again is a skill not learned at the gym. Anyway apart from my domestic workout, we walked past the gym, but all the equipment looked well maintained. Would I go again or get a monthly subscription? We all need to keep fit, healthy and mobile, and if you have a sedentary occupation, in an office of sitting behind a computer it is probably the best option. I am fortunate to have such a lovely wife that cares for my personal fitness to such a degree that gym time and keeping fit is automatically taken care of in the garden, the house and all the other things that she keeps finding for me to do, so I don't have to go. But you should give it a go and check it out yourself.

Fantastic experience: Second time going and absolutely worth the money. Wonderful staff, great massages and a wide range of things to do and not do. Pool, sauna, outdoor lounging, gym, foot baths, sensory shower and jacuzzis we all enjoyed.

Fantastic experience: Helpful staff to walk you through the options available. There are lots of fitness classes available for members. The pool is quite lovely with an accompanying sauna and a steam room. The gym is well equipped and generally not overcrowded. The machines also have the Technogym set-up and can be linked to 'My Wellness' app. Have been enjoying the experience and the versatility offered here.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant facilities I am a member and enjoy using the pool. There are x2 hot tubs and plenty of loungers as well as x2 heated loungers. The sauna and steam rooms are also great additions as well as the foot spas. The gym has all the machines you can imagine and always someone on hand to answer and questions. The restaurant is fantastic with friendly staff and is very reasonably priced and if you are a member also get discount

Negative experience: What can I say ? Went for a spa day left waiting for 15 minute to be seen. Given a very used grown and towel. Very overpriced for what you get. Pool is freezing cold too cold to be able to swim

Fantastic experience: Me and my husband visited the spa on a glorious sunny day and had an amazing timr. We had a great gym session. The gym facilities are great. Everything you'd want/ need. The pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room was all amazing. We had lunch on the lovely terrace outside. The paninis were delicious. To top it off we did the mud chamber experience which was exhilarating and fun. Can't wait for our next visit. Only cost £70 on groupon!!

Fantastic experience: I love to come here to relax and unwind... I have been to a class and the gym a couple of times, which is great! I need to make better use of the gym instructors so I can feel more confident when I go.

Fantastic experience: This is an excellent health club and spa. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is a full cardio suite and weights section with free and machine weights. The environment is clean and inviting and the restaurant is brilliant. I can get gluten and dairy free food and it’s cooked on site from fresh ingredients. The pool area is excellent and well maintained, although it’s only 20m. The fees are very reasonable for what you get!!

Fantastic experience: Great Spa, the cafe is worth a visit a line.

Negative experience: I’ve been there and it is nice but it’s badly managed so they lose out on business. They don’t respond to membership enquiries except besides one phone call attempt. They don’t publish membership prices so they can hard sell if if you’re genuinely interested in joining. Publish your prices!

Fantastic experience: I bought my partner a spa day for 2 and we've had an absolutely amazing time! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Fantastic experience: I spent the day here with some friends on the weekend just gone and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The spa area is clean and tidy with plenty of amenities to use! The afternoon tea was absolutely delicious and the service was really friendly! I ended the day with a mini facial treatment which left my skin feeling refreshed and hydrated. Couldn’t recommend Holmer Park Spa enough - thank you! ☺️

Fantastic experience: Lovely place got a lovely countryside feel to it. Came here on a spa day purchased off Groupon and paid for the 1 hour relax massage which highly recommend. The spa treatments are worth the money and aren't as expensive as I first thought unforuantly the mud chamber was shut but they were accomodating and gave us complementary lunch and a chance to rebook for free to use mud chamber. Will be defiantly coming back

Fantastic experience: What can I say ❤️ Absolutely fabulous Spa day, from arrival we were made to feel welcome, relaxed and at home! Lovely in-depth, informal chat pre spa. Which was very welcome being out first visit. Upon entering the Spa area I was taken aback by the sheer size of the pool & spa area. We had a lovely morning enjoying all the facilities, from pool, steam, sauna room , spa pool and foot massage ❤️. We had two treatments booked - hot stone massage ❤️. Absolutely divine and would highly recommend, would definitely have this again. We then made our way to the restaurant where we enjoyed our lunch. Delicious & plentiful. Once we had enjoyed this we made our way back to the spa to enjoy the relaxation of the poolside sunbeds, where we finished our day. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we booked another spa day before leaving. Thank you to everyone at Holmer Park Spa for a fabulous day. X

Fantastic experience: Such a good place to come and unwind, we had full access to the facilities. Everything is immaculate and not crowded. Fully functional modern gym, huge pool, 2 big Jacuzzis, sauna and steamrooms. Nice and secure locker system with codes. We had the afternoon tea which was delicious and plenty of food. Was greeted on arrival by friendly staff who go through everything you need to know. You are given a robe, towel and flip-flops at arrival. Nice big carpark with plenty of space. Would definitely come back again, would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Second time here for a full day. All staff are friendly and welcoming. Facilities are great and clean. Could do with a few more loungers and the 15 mins time limit on the hot beds enforced more as people were on them for half hour at a time so we didn't get on one until the afternoon. Our treatments were excellent. Will definitely go back.

Fantastic experience: I had read few reviews about this spa which they were complaining about noise and that is not relaxing as they say. I can assure you that We had such a great spa day at Holmer spa! The staff polite and friendly. Great facilities. They provide us flip flops and gowns. Also, the tea afternoon is so good and a pretty much decent portion which i didn’t expect. I would definitely go back!!

Fantastic experience: We had this wonderful spa experience as a gift, it is the best spa I have visited,on arrival we received a lovely welcome from the receptionist, who explained what was available and if we need anything just ask. The facilitys were spotless and what they had on offer was amazing. I would also recommend visting the cafe,they had a good variety of food on offer and the cakes were delicious. I will definitely be booking another vist and would recommend a vist to friends and family. Thank you again for a great day.

Positive experience: Booked a spa day for me and my partner. Unfortunately the jacuzzi was out of action, but the spa gave us a voucher to return which was very nice. We had a mud bath, used the pool, sat on sun loungers outside and had lunch in the cafe (very yummy and huge portions). Didn't get to use the gym, but looked good and well equipped.

Fantastic experience: We had a really great spa day at Holmer Park. Staff were friendly and helpful and place has a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The mud treatment was definately an experience and the facials were one of the best both of us have experienced. By the end of the day we both felt very chilled Will certainly be returning.

The spa has a large pool, and many other facilities, could spend all day there! Lunch was delicious and 5* service from Vinnie and all the team in the restaurant. We both had massages which were just sublime! Excellent value for money, very highly recommended and THANK YOU to all of the staff, everyone was super friendly and hospitable. Looking forward to our next stay!

Fantastic experience: 9 of us visited Holmer Park Spa & Health Club on a hen party package and had a great time. Staff were all extremely friendly, from the person who took my initial enquiry though to being greeted by Harriet at the spa. The spa is clean, modern with good facilities, I opted for a hot stone massage which I really enjoyed. Afternoon tea was also really nice. Loved that we also got to test all of the beautifully smelling products that were available to buy too. I would definitely return, and I thought the hen party package was great value for money.

Fantastic experience: Surprise day out for my birthday this is the second time I've been and from start to finish we all had a wonderful time, safe very friendly and a lovely place to spend the day food also very good

Negative experience: I had a Relaxing spa day booked. The massage treatment was excellent and that's where I managed to get my hour of relaxation. But that's unfortunately it for relaxation. To get to your locker you have to go through the gym area which isn't great, same with going through the reception area to get something to eat or drink. You want to have a relaxing time and you end up standing in the reception area in your gown. That's not what I understand as chill out. While the pool is large, this also means that there are a lot of people. When I arrived there was a water aerobics class going on with seriously loud music. Again not relaxing. And when I retreated into the steam room, ten minutes and the cleaning lady threw me out. For the first hour at Holmer Park I felt like I constantly had to run from the noise (wish I had found the dark lounge upstairs earlier). So unfortunately I have to agree with some previous reviews. It would be much better to have separate areas for relaxation/spa guests and those with a health club membership. I would only recommend this place for either treatment (or perhaps the health club stuff which I can't comment on), but not to spend a full on relaxation day there.
