Fantastic experience: Clean gym, great staff, Martin was super helpful and a great PT

Positive experience: I’m having PT from Charlie and that’s a full five stars. She’s created a routine and we have regular catch ups and one to ones. Well worth the money. As the gym goes it’s clean and has all the kit I need. The biggest “issue” is people who monopolise the large lockers. I bring a backpack with clothes and a towel etc. there is only ten large lockers my bag fits in and some selfish idiots hog the lockers for weeks at a time. You are meant to use a locker for your session and remove your lock when you leave but as you can see in the photo eight of the ten are used, one is broken. The gym occasionally leaves notes to say that locks will be removed but this is maybe once every two or three months. This is at 9pm and only 18 people in the gym right now. It would be great if the Gym group could sort this out maybe more regular clear outs of people hogging lockers. Once every two weeks or so.

Fantastic experience: Recently swapped my home gym to Kidderminster. Fab range of equipment and super helpful, friendly staff. My weekly routine is centred around Boxercise with Charley on a Monday and having her as my PT has massively revolutionised my training and outlook towards my fitness!

Fantastic experience: Charley and Kennedy's boxfit class couldn't be more spot on. Ensuring that you get your sweat on but have fun while doing it. Would highly recommend for both beginners and professionals.

He is always on hand when I am stuck or lack motivation, he really pushes me and knows my limits better than I know them myself and has really helped me transform my life. Fantastic experience: Best gym

Positive experience: Quiet gym with good facilities. Only thing I'd say that puts me off is that nobody wipes down equipment after using it, the stair master smelled heavily of Vinegar as someone had clearly sweat all over it and not cleaned it afterwards. I can never spot any cleaning facilities like in other gyms where there are paper towels and anti bac sprays (especially since covid). I might be missing these, but people definitely don't use them. Could definitely improve on that front.

Positive experience: They've been adding heavier weights but some of the machines don't get touched and are completely useless they could put some better machines in but friendly staff and good gym overall

Great gym, plenty of space, good equipment and very helpful friendly staff even the manager gets involved plus he is a body builder himself and knows his stuff! Only downside for me is the lack of cable rows which many people agree it needs as cable rows are the best sort of row you can do

Fantastic experience: I always have such a positive experience whenever I visit the Gym Group Kidderminster. All the staff are super friendly, especially the manager Leon. He has helped me to gain my confidence back in a gym environment and I finally feel comfortable training on my own again. They offer a good range of classes with all members of staff adapting to each persons individual needs within the class. The staff are also very encouraging during the classes. The gym is always clean and tidy with a member of staff being present to make sure weights are put back and all the equipment is ok as well as a cleaner for when staff go home of an evening. Well done to Leon & his fabulous team Dawn, Charlie & Connor.

Fantastic experience: Love they gym group in kidderminster, found staff great, especially Charlie she's gives me advise regarding my arthritic joints and as helped me modify movements, first class trainer.

Negative experience: Honestly disappointing. When I first joined, it had one cleaning station which quickly disappeared and now, not only there’s no anti-bac spray available, but the equipment is not being cleaned either, no matter what the staff say. We started bringing our own spray and cloth and the way it looks like at the end of the session, after using 3-4 machines is actually beyond nasty (photo included). I’ve never seen a cleaner clean anything else apart from spraying toilets with soap and leaving it dripping wet. The equipment is not being checked or looked after either. Things not working properly, battered equipment… I understand it’s a budget gym, but due to the amount of people paying for the gym, it shouldn’t be such a hard work to upkeep and do basic maintenance and cleaning. EDIT: you can copy paste your response all you want but the fact is that the equipment is NOT being cleaned no matter what you say. If my cloth is black after a single swipe then that says something, no? Use your common sense and look into the issue instead of copy pasting same responses. I worked out in many different budget gyms in different counties and this is by far the dirtiest, most disgusting gym I’ve ever seen and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

Negative experience: On the evidence so far this is one of the worst companies in the UK. Online payments do not work, and the order page does not accept any alleged 'promo codes' you put in. Furthermore, a trainer is supposed to contact you to arrange an induction but they just don't, (and before you have it you can't access the gym). Just utterly incompetent. Don't be fooled by the low price. It really is a case of "you get what you pay for"

Fantastic experience: As a pro cyclist, it is essential that I have access to the best training equipment and I am able to train in a clean environment. The Gym Group Kidderminster is the cleanest gym I’ve ever been to in over 20 years. The equipment is top quality and the staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Genuinely cannot praise this gym highly enough. I wouldn’t even consider another gym in Kidderminster now.

Fantastic experience: The staff are amazing, particularly Leon and Dawn who will always provide thier time, knowledge and support to get you where you need to be! The classes are great, again the ones facilitated by Leon and Dawn are always fully explained and more importantly they will correct movements to ensure no injuries are sustained. I have had PT sessions with Leon and I can't thank him enough for the encouragement he provides and highly recommend him to others!
