Fantastic experience: The gym is very cool, large and tidy. There are many exercise machines and even a zone for ladies, which has free water and showers. The staff are also kind. the dressing rooms are also spacious, the only thing that can be improved is to make the wardrobes in the dressing room a little wider. But in general, everything is very good

Fantastic experience: The personal trainers here are terrific and I must put in an special mention for Matt K who has been training me for several years, is highly motivating and knows his stuff. Lucy and Paulina teach great zumba classes and Jason's spin is brilliant.

Fantastic experience: Very helpful staff, easily accessible as it's just a 10 minute drive from where I live (traffic dependent), enough utilities to host a fair amount of people. Staff always makes sure the place is clean, and people inside always clean the machines or weights after use. Would highly recommend this place if you want to start going to the gym. Only downside is the price being quite steep but you definitely get your money's worth for what it is.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I traveled to Cheltenham for a week-long business trip. In advance of our arrival, I messaged Jason to inquire about short-term membership offers for our stay. He was incredibly responsive and guided us through the process to obtain a discounted membership. Jason personally sent us our access codes and made us feel very welcome. The gym itself is spacious, has loads of equipment, and allowed my husband and me to enjoy some of the more functional spaces and apparatuses that we simply can't get at our local gym in London. They also have an incredible women’s section, which is quite extensive and had many of the same equipment as the wider gym. Upon our departure, Jason was incredibly gracious and allowed us to terminate our membership easily. He also extended an open invitation for our future visits. The experience, from the management to the gym itself, was one of the best we've ever had. We highly recommend Simply Gym Cheltenham.

Positive experience: Dear my beloved gym owners, I have been a loyal member of your gym for over seven years and have greatly appreciated the facilities and services offered. However, I wanted to share some concerns regarding the stationary bikes in the cardio area, particularly the spin class bikes. The spin bikes appear to be the same ones that have been in use since I first joined. Over the years, they have become quite clunky and outdated. More importantly, some of them seem unsafe, as the resistance settings are inconsistent and often unreliable. It's worth noting that while almost every other part of the gym has seen updates and improvements, the spin bikes have been left behind. Updating this equipment would not only enhance the overall experience for long-time members like myself but also ensure a safer and more efficient workout for everyone. Fantastic experience: Really good equipment and value! Tons of machines not found in standard commercial gyms. Doesn’t get too busy and has a great atmosphere. My girlfriend also likes the large women’s only area which also has a good selection of weights. This is a top tier gym option in Cheltenham to be a member of.

Fantastic experience: Nothing fancy, but you can have monthly subscription, the staff is really nice and helpful, the equipment is in really good condition, lot of free weights.

Fantastic experience: As one of the new year joiners, this is actually the first gym I’ve ever joined. I love it. The women’s only area is the best bit. I was expecting an area where you’d still be visible but it’s walled and only women allowed, it’s great. Equipment is good and great condition. Big thumbs up for me

Huge variety of classes and the sports equipment is always being updated (and it's open 24/7). Gym is always spotless. Staff are friendly and always approachable.

A varied program of daily classes from Spin, Step, Strength, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba etc. Approachable, helpful PT’s and management. Always striving to improve facilities from new upgraded equipment to refurbishment of shower/changing rooms, gym decor. Clean, tidy, safe environment. Large free car park.

The gym has a familly feel to it with others helping others to achieve their goals. I have progressed so much physically in the last 2 years and my mental health is so much better too. Fantastic experience: I have been a member since it opened ten years ago. The staff have always offered an excellent service, very friendly and helpful. The quality and variety of the classes offered are also excellent, as well as the instructors who teach them. Lots of various good equipment on the gym floor and a separate Ladies gym is attractive to female members. Certainly get value for money with a low cost membership. Overall a very relaxed and friendly gym.

Negative experience: Hey last year I used to come to simply gym with a friend all was going great loved the facilities however I had a direct debit set up every month however they took the £19.99 to begin with and refunded me the next day then the next month they took out double.

Positive experience: Gets busy during peak times, however being 24hours makes it accessible. Music on is pretty loud and not great (personal preference) so I'd strongly advise taking some headphones. They do seem to stay on top of keeping equipment maintained and up to date. With other similar gyms available locally the pricing isn't necessarily competitive any longer. The only real problem (which exists at pretty much every gym) is people not putting weights back after they're done so you can spend a few minutes looking for the weights you're after.

Positive experience: Saturday mid morning, a strong smell of perspiration, please do a better ventilation

Positive experience: Gym is fantastic, machines work well, plenty of variety and the locker room is spacious and plenty of lockers. Staff and Members are friendly and just get on with it. The only criticism I have for it is the showers. Only 2/10 have doors and the showers themselves go freezing cold to boiling hot over and over again! The spray of the shower is super wide as well, missing you all together and just gets your towel and other stuff soaking wet. All in all, it’s a good gym and well with £20 per month.

Fantastic experience: Solid gym, the way they adapted the gym during the pandemic has been great, at the entrance you have your own means of cleaning the equipment. although some machines are unavailable because of 2m social distancing, there are still plenty of machines regardless of what you’re training

Edit: have been going for over a year and still going, the 24 hours is really useful, means I can change up my sessions depending on family commitments.

Fantastic experience: Fab gym loads of "new " machines and the free weights are everything you need , let me come on to the most extraordinary part of this gym THE STAFF , absolutely fantastic team from the "boss man" to the cleaners the office the cleaners and maybe not in that order Haaaharrrumph!! Joking aside it's a fabulous place and the studio guy's are so friendly and helpful ! I cannot praise this gym enough!!! Go there and join and see for your self
