Fantastic experience: Such an amazing one with great customer service and very clean!

Fantastic experience: Just joined the gym, I’m so impressed with it, great equipment, lovely staff, not overly busy but still a great vibe, very nice atmosphere…. Dumbbells go up to 57kg so enough weight for even the serious lifters! I honestly can’t fault it, clean and tidy and a very respectable monthly fee of only £58.00, I’ve spent more on a takeaway for 2 than a month’s membership so when you put it into perspective it’s as cheap as chips! I’ll be here for many years to come hopefully! Keep up the great work Revive, you have created a beautiful gym environment and top end equipment to boot!

Fantastic experience: Jess, Patrick, the PT’s & even little Gym-ima make this place what it is. Always friendly always professional and the equipment and floorspace makes this without doubt my fav gym of all time.

Positive experience: I like this gym especially in comparison to some gyms in the area but there are a few things to consider. I believe the place is still under improvement but so far haven’t seen much improving, but in fairness only been here a few months. Secondly and my biggest complaint (especially at the price point of this gym). Is it is COLD. I’m an experienced athlete and I think most of you can agree it’s far more important to be a little too warm than too cold. To give you an idea: I have to keep my sweats on over my leggings during a leg workout unless I’m running or high intensity cardio. But for my weight training sessions I can’t take them off especially when I’m taking my 3 min break between sets. If it’s light outside it’s manageable but at night no chance. If this was just an inconvenience I wouldn’t feel the need to say anything but it so so important for injury prevention to not be as cold as it is. (And to just add a counter argument I do get cold easier, but still think on nights where it is currently 7degrees outside rn and there were windows open… idk) Many good things which is why 4stars but I felt the need for this to be said.

Fantastic experience: Revive is one of the best gyms in Potters Bar- Barnet area. Very well maintained, extremely clean/sanitised, and not overly crowded. Unlike big gym chains, the staff here are very dedicated to their work and this is reflected in the quality of services. It gives you a home-like feeling, and you feel a part of this family-run gym. They even have lovely events and get-togethers for gym members. I would have loved to maintain my membership but had to leave because I moved away from the area. I have not been able to find a gym of similar quality since then. If you are thinking of taking a membership here, would absolutely recommend this place!

Fantastic experience: Love it. Friendly people, not overcrowded but not worryingly empty - I can get to the equipment I need without having to skip anything. Growing, progressing as we watch. Conveniently located (for me at least) and a good mix of free weights, resistance machine, cardio and core equipment.

Negative experience: I used to enjoy going to 'spoons'. The staff were still pleasant but I don't think the food is nearly as good as it used to be.

Positive experience: Friendly receptionist. Large & well equipped gym, all the usual machines plus free weights and classes. Pool and spa too. Not crowded on a Saturday morning (August 2020) either.

Fantastic experience: Since it reopened I have been 4 times between 11am & 3pm. Only a handful of members using the gym during my visits but can take many more. I am seeing some regular faces returning. They have made it possible to feel safe so hopefully more will return over the coming weeks. Whilst you can't shower during the hours I attended apparently you can if you turn up very early. Don't forget to book your session for an hour. The pool was well occupied with the aqua aerobics session this morning.

Positive experience: Great gym! Lots of amenities, but a bit pricey when I had a membership a while back.

Positive experience: Good gym equipment,but very expensive for a regular salaried guy

Negative experience: No maintenance, often in mess, disorganised, light failures, blank TV screen and no TV on equipments, cold shower water, not clean

Fantastic experience: problems with the heating which was not the gym's fault. the team managed to get everything put right within 24 hours - must have taken some doing at this time of year and they kept us informed all the time. wonderful service which is usual for revive. Many thanks from two grateful members.

The members are also friendly and people are there to get or keep fit, not to pose like so many other places. Best gym I’ve ever been a member of. The pool and sauna is more like a luxury spa, than what you would expect of a gym.

Fantastic experience: I joined in January which is always a bit risky, but I've continued to go at least 3 times a week! Staff are really friendly, gym is clean and has plenty of equipment and the pool is small but relaxing.

Fantastic experience: Best Gym in Hertfordshire! Has a brilliant swimming pool, steam room and sauna. Gym are is very big and with a big choice of different classes every day. I love the personal training team. Very helpful and friendly. Managment is great too!

Negative experience: Great space but they need to do something about the choice and the VOLUME of the music. Too loud, not even your own earphones can help muting the music and the style varies, mostly, from hip-hop to Mallorca style disco. Not cool.

Fantastic experience: Great vibe at this gym, very friendly staff (reception and gym area), clean, great machines and free weights. But..... I have to say my favourite bit of the gym is the pool and steam/sauna (always working unlike other places). Changing rooms/shower/toilets always clean and tidy. If you are looking for a professional gym, without being intimidating, this is your place. They also have very reasonable memberships with the minimum amount of time being 3 months so you don't worry about getting locked into long contracts. Thanks revive team great gym.
