Firehouse Fitness Hillsborough

Negative experience: Thought the gym was average and generally ok. The staff were decent but when they closed down and broke our contract they tried to charge for the last two weeks. We decided that wasn't any good and when we cancelled the snotty nosed receptionist stated we were"in a contract until closure" and refused to accept that they had broken the contract. Had to cancel the direct debit via bank and when discussing with other members they also had problems with disengagement from them

Negative experience: After finally figuring out how to cancel my membership and then following the process, they still continued to charge me monthly and take money off me they had no right to take.please somebody help to avoid this..when I call them they didn't tell like they will deduct money up to 6 month.. pleased help me..

Fantastic experience: Great gym! Had 2 PT sessions with Doris who is incredibly personable and who is brilliant at formulating the right excerise regime for you. 10/10

You can only speak to people at reception who dont have the knowledge to help.

Fantastic experience: Great place. Loads of equipment that you can get onto when you want to. Lovely atmosphere and good variety of classes

Negative experience: Be aware of the hidden contract. Upon joining, we were told that there are no contracts for student memberships and after trying to cancel we were brought with new information that all memberships have a minimum 6 month contract. It would have been a good gym without this deception as other people has had issues leaving in the past.

Fantastic experience: A nice and clean gym with friendly staff. Monthly membership fee of £20 is good value for the services and equipment provided. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had a great time training here. There's plenty of equipment, including some stuff you don't find in other gyms. And a great atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: It's probably the best gym iv gone to. It's not too big. Never too crowded. There are weights. Kettle bells and really good classes... I really enjoy it. Plus it's next to my house. I don't know why Google keeps asking if I still like this gym. Reminds me of my wife asking over and over again if I still love her. Yes. I'm still going to the firehouse and I still enjoy it

Negative experience: 2 months later I try to cancel my membership in that gym and no body can do it and am still getting charged

Fantastic experience: Joined with my son about 5 weeks good place to train…..good staff friendly and helpful when needed.

Positive experience: Good quick tyre change. No issues and only took about 15 minutes after arriving at a pre arranged time

Fantastic experience: Been to a lot of gyms over the years what stands out here is the staff are great , you always get a hello and they are approachable which u don't get in a lot of mainstream gyms . Cardio machines room is fairly small but there's enough for what u need in one ,good selection of weights upstairs and a great free training section loads of punch bags and functional training kit . Just rejoined this week and it's like I never left I'm already feeling better about goin again well worth checking out

Fantastic experience: It has taken me years to find a gym as good as Firehouse Fitness Hillsborough. From the minute I walked through the door for the 1st time the staff always go above and beyond to answer all of my questions, queries and to offer advice and support when needed.The atmosphere within the gym is great, lots of friendly faces welcomed me when I was a newbie which made it easier to go back day after day.The gym has a great selection of equipment and machines as well as classes which personally I like best, the PTs are always on hand if you need to tweak any exercises for whatever reason or if you need that extra bit of encouragement to push yourself harder. Firehouse Fitness Hillsborough is fantastic I would 100% recommend it.

They can not only advise you on the correct exercise for your needs but can also give great advice on nutrition too. B-Fit UK is a great all round gym for a very reasonable price.....5 stars all the way
