Fantastic experience: Amazing gym, some of the best resistance machines I’ve used compared to other gyms I’ve been too (I’ve been to a lot of gyms). Friendly community and welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this gym!

Fantastic experience: Really excellent well equipped gym. Loads of high quality equipment in a modest but very well organised space. Little studio upstairs which doubles up as the aerobic equipment room, however the majority of the gym is dedicated to free weights and disc loaded machines. Owner is really friendly and approachable and clearly knows his stuff. 24/7 gym, operated using an app. I used it on a really good value weekly pass whilst visiting the area and will 100% return. Brilliant place.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym. There are a variety of high quality machines and cardio equipment which make working out here feel great as well as very friendly and welcoming environment. I am always greeted by the owner and staff upon entry who make me feel at home here and even give me suggestions on how I can improve my workout for a better experience. With it being a 24 hour gym it is definitely a lot easier to flex around my busy schedule and the well maintained showers and bathrooms make the place incredibly convenient. I Would highly recommend the facilities and thus a well deserved 5 star review

Fantastic experience: Superb gym with excellent quality and range of equipment, very clean and tidy and staff are friendly and more importantly always there if you need some help. would highly recommend.

Negative experience: Dark and dingy dungeon. Small gym and the owner has a God complex with small man syndrome. I honestly don't know how this place stays in business. The owner is a troll, along with his friends who like to post lies on social media about me. No one has been ripped off and if you do search my name on Facebook the only people commenting are people that have nothing to do with me. Anyway, the owner has a God complex, thinks he's better than everyone and is a little bit in love with himself. Steer clear of this place.

Fantastic experience: Great range of weight machines and cool outside area, we had a week membership because we were traveling in the area, showers and toilets upstairs very clean. Nice atmosphere and friendly people

Fantastic experience: Great support from the staff if you need tips and advice, the range of products and supplements is ideal. Being open 24/7 is great as I tend to workout whenever I have time .

Fantastic experience: Top gym. All ages are welcome, full of like minded friendly gym users, owner is helpful and knowledgeable & friendly, gym equipment is top teir with no expense spared, sun bed available on site, lounge to chill and relax upstairs, alongside cardio suit, fitted with mirrors. bathrooms are very plush. Have brought many gym users here, would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym with great plate loaded equipment, full range of free weights and dumbbells up to 60 kg, Very impressive. It has hammer tires and all the tools you need for a proper functional fun workout. Super fancy showers, solarium, treatment room and chill room. The staff and other mebers are super friendly and helpful. The best place to workout in Christchurch

Fantastic experience: Good gym, lots of nice equipment. Staff seemed nice but weren’t anywhere to be seen on 2 of the 3 times I’ve come down. Waited around and no one in the building or answering the phone. Could have been 5 if I could actually pay someone to get in Edit - thanks for the helpful response!

Fantastic experience: Great place, very welcoming, clean equipment, great atmosphere, gets you into the zone ready for a great session, staff are fantastic and always willing to help in anyway they can, highly recommend to anyone thats had enough of the usual sweaty, smelly overcrowded gyms

Negative experience: Very unprofessional in the gym and a shame the owner doesn't appreciate people who have helped him..

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member here for about 6 months and would highly recommend empire for anyone looking for a weights gym. The staff and other members are always friendly and welcoming. I workout super early or pretty late so the 24 hour access is ideal.

Fantastic experience: Great gym looked after clean equipment owners always friendly and willing to help I find gyms hard with autsim and anxiety but everyone has been good and I recommend to anyone who has gym anxiety to check it out awesome place my 2nd home

Fantastic experience: Such a welcoming community. The team always have time for you and are very supportive and so friendly. The equipment is varied and straightforward to use. It's never too busy but always has a good vibe! So lucky to have found this gem!

Fantastic experience: Really nice gym. Lots of plate loaded machines, weights, dumbbells 50kg+, stretching and chill out area plus a bit of outside space too. Friendly owner and staff. Very reasonable price for a holiday workout.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym.. Great equipment, lovely friendly atmosphere and staff that are always available to help with your training if unsure. Plus a great out door area perfect for the summer. Showers are really clean and there's a comfy chill out area to relax after a hard workout! Definitely my new gym

Craig put me through my best leg workout today that I think I’ve ever done… the equipment there is so unique and targets muscles I never knew I could work! Harriet is down to earth and easy to talk to which makes you feel welcome. Nathan is the most chill guy who will help you along your journey. Negative experience: Expensive membership compared to other gyms at £50 per month. You also don’t get much for your money here as it’s very small. I didn’t notice it having any air con either?
