Fantastic experience: Amazing gym, help whenever I need it and the community here is incredible!

Positive experience: Overall a pretty nice gym. Good changing rooms, new equipment and a sauna (a huge value-add). Only negatives are that the space is a bit small so it's very busy at peak times, but there's not a lot that can be done about that. I would LOVE if they got rid of a couple of treadmills/cross trainers and got another cable machine, or bench press rack. These machines are constantly being used - I can be in the gym for over an hour and not get a turn on them.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with affordable pricing considering the facilities. Even at peak times it isn't too busy, sauna is a great addition - just wish they would fix the steam room!!

Fantastic experience: Am visiting for a couple of days from Devon and used the gym on a day pass. The compact gym has everything you need , the staff were welcoming , the clientele friendly and there’s a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely come again when I’m staying in berkhamsted next .

Positive experience: Very friendly gym with a good range of equipment. A variety of classes also included in the membership cost. Excellent personal trainers available. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: After recently leaving The Fitness Society following 15 years great membership, I've been extremely disappointed by their Customer Service and Accounting skills. In error Fitness Society took an extra months membership, so far I've email and called numerous times to get this months membership refunded with no luck. If you leave, make sure you cancel all direct debits or standing orders!

Positive experience: Well equipped & maintained gym, with lots of classes and nice atmosphere. I would recommend this gym.

Negative experience: Lovley staff and shower facilities. But very little equipment that is constantly being used and having to wait upto 60 minutes just to use one machine.

Positive experience: It's a good gym, functional, ronseal...The reception area is quite small, but they do have sauna & steam room but no jacuzzi... also there's no designated car park, so you have to pay for parking behind Tesco.

Fantastic experience: Really good value for money, great equipment, excellent and varied classes, but most important of all, inspirational personal trainers, Paul Malekos is outstanding.

Fantastic experience: A professional, independent fitness establishment that pretty much covers most indoor fitness modalities (even Powerplate - and I have them at home!). Fun fitness for all.

Fantastic experience: Best Gym I’ve been a member The equipment and variety is good but it’s the staff that really makes this gym stand out. Reception are always cheery, the personal trainers are excellent, Paul Malekos, Richard Tabor and Lewis Cresswell I have received particularly excellent experience. Classes are regular and offer convenient times. If you are not a member - why not?
