Fantastic experience: Very friendly, good old school backstreet gym Now Also 24hr!

Negative experience: Came down to try it out. No one around, no one answered phone. Heard it was a decent gym and wanted to see if they had a punch bag. Waste of time.

Negative experience: I am member since 2018.. But since the new management took a place the gym is not the same. Floor will have holes very sooon, boxing area not fixed more than few months.. All weights all the time not in places, no bar clippers (somehow disappeared somewhere since day one when new management arrived) Only one stair machine left, was 2 before. Air conditioners never working - on summer time impossible to train because it's hot like in sauna. Gym is not cleaned properly at all - only when lady is on reception some of the work being done.. Mats all the time dirty, no staff on the reception. If the guys are working - don't know where are they spending time but deffo not on the reception... Very disappointed, gym gone so down...

Negative experience: Very small gym and also no place to get water. I do not recommend.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff named Mark. Had a little mixup with gympass but he kindly sorted it quickly and professionally. Gym was top notch had everything for strength and conditioning. Plenty of machines for bodybuilding too. Good vibes too in there and everyone seems friendly. Would happily come back again. Cheers

Negative experience: I took my wife with me on my first day to show her so she could join. Within 10 minutes of arriving, we left as the atmosphere was uncomfortable and everyone was staring at us continuously. I emailed the club manager to inform them about the situation and he was nice and apologized and offered us one free personal training session but we didn’t want to go there after that experience which affected my wife in a bad way and she doesn’t want to any gym now for nearby future after the incident. I requested a refund as there were 29 days left on the membership but I’ve been told that no refund can be given on the occasion which was disappointing considering the circumstances so I can only say try it before buying it.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Leodis gym for over 10 years now and despite moving house 4 times around Leeds in that period and trying other gyms I have never left Leodis. It is by far the best gym I’ve experienced in Leeds. Multiple squat racks, powerlifting equipment, the best quality lifting bars and weights and good changing room and shower facilities. The staff are all great and helpful and everyone who uses the gym is supportive and there are no egos. Even the athletes are all friendly and supportive. I would highly recommend this gym to any one at any level of gym use.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym, been a member now for a number of years. The atmosphere, other members, Stuart (owner), staff & the PTs are all fantastic. The gym itself is what I call ‘old school’ - no pool, no sunbeds, no sauna - just nice clean changing rooms and plenty of great well maintained equipment & weights (which can be lacking in other gyms) So Male, Female, Young or Older - get yourself down for a session & you will be hooked ️‍♂️

Fantastic experience: Top top gym! One of, if not the best in Leeds. I’ve been training here for years and it has everything you need for a great pump. Never overly busy unlike most generic gyms in the city centre. All the staff and trainers and very friendly and approachable. Always new equipment coming through the door and after the last refurb brand new Hammer Strength equipment all round. Very clean gym also! 10/5.

Positive experience: It's better than before now the owner has taken over it's 24 HR gym which is good for me that means no counts in the gym when I go and looking at me judging me when I'm training I'd say the gym is better than before I hope it stays 24 hours I can train whenever I want and do what I want in the gym at night time and focus on my goals properly

Negative experience: First time in a gym in 10years, very welcoming and the place is clean. Good mixture of people. Looking to join monthly gym membership. October 2024 - Gym gone down hill since Stuart is no longer managing. Floor is in a terrible state, kit left all over the place, rubbish left lying around. Basic maintenance is not taking place. Was 5*, now 2*.

Positive experience: Small gym but decent kit variety. May be crowded in busy times. Music very quiet, but maybe because it's a Sunday and not having many people in.

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym. Very clean and tidy. All new machines. Friendly staff and great PT's. Cheap membership. Get down and try it out. Have now had to join another gym as I don't work in Leeds anymore but I go there wheneverI get the chance. This has only bolstered my opinion of Leodis. Fantastic gym, great equipment and friendly staff and clients. Far better than the mainstream high street gym's.

Fantastic experience: Great independent gym. Decent set of equipment both machines and free weights. A few cardio machines as well.

Fantastic experience: Incredible find. One of the cleanest and well-equipped gyms I've been to. Day pass was cheaper than expected and considering I went at the busiest time of the week found no issues with getting onto kit.

Negative experience: The blonde receptionist has very poor English skills. I can not fathom how such a person with such poor skills is given such a vital role in the gym. Things need changing

Fantastic experience: Always happy when I come to train here the staff are friendly and to be honest so are the people that come to this gym I always feel very very comfortable and everyone is very approachable even though it is a gym you can definitely feel the family energy in this gym

Positive experience: It can be cold in there but guess what you are there to work up a sweat so that doesn't matter. They got CCTV for indoors and outdoors and I could see my car on the monitor at the desk . For the locker room go with a padlock to lock you valuables away as they don't have a coin system. For first timers finding the entrance door may be a little puzzle but it's a Norma size door on the side next to the recycle bin and car park .

Good clean showers Natalie who's gym it is also does p.t, is helpful for those who need it Stuart who also runs the gym is a Mr Universe again always informative if needed will add some pics of gym shortly.

Fantastic experience: Just moved to Leeds and was looking for a new gym. I Was offered a free 3 day pass when I entered. Really great gym for weight training. Very well kept, clean, tidy and good atmosphere. 5/5 will lift again...
