Fantastic experience: I've not trained at Simon's base but I have had the pleasure of being involved in self defense sessions organised by Jennie Hoskins in Ormskirk. I've been to a few of these now and clearly all who attend respect Simon immensely, especially due to their repeat attendances. Simon is highly skilled and extremely patient when teaching skills to people who attend his sessions. As Simon has stated himself, no one should feel unconformable in the presence of a martial arts teacher and Simon is worlds apart from that; professional, patient and with good humour. Both myself and my wife have trained under Simon and he has our utmost respect. Anyone reading the 1 star ratings might notice that they are all one time ratings, highly unusual, unless they are a troll. I'd suggest that they are exactly that. Bizarre way to spend your time if you ask me.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend training here, classes have a friendly atmosphere and in addition to the self defence nature of it we get a really intense workout where we are pushed to our limits physically and mentally. Simon caters for all abilities and goals and has a wealth of knowledge.

Fantastic experience: Excellent training by Simon one of the nicest guys you can meet I suffer from mental health problems but Simon and his family make it such a great place to train and learn I look forward to going every week Simon treats all us students the same with mutual respect I could not ask any more of a teacher 5 star service.
