Anytime Fitness Bordon

Negative experience: had to cancel my membership a while back before my contract was up due to personal unforeseen circumstances, obviously my fault. tried to explain the situation to them and they didnt wanna hear any of it. threatened and harassed me for months, completely ignored my needs and mental health. i was suicidal at the time, and they basically just ignored the fact. i ended up paying way more than what i had signed up for, despite the fact i hadn't even touched the gym for 6 months or so. eventually made its way to debt collectors, who were a lot more helpful and understanding. they helped me explore options for repayment, helped me get into contact with samaritans and other helpful resources. Anytime however didnt care at all. don't use this gym. there are plenty of other gyms that dont require lengthy contracts, and that are much cheaper. im not sure if it is still ran by the same people as it used to be, but the level of hostility and harassment i received was completely unprofessional and honestly concerning.

Fantastic experience: I adore this gym and the team! I'm a returning member - work commitments dragged me away briefly but I've signed back up for an annual membership without hesitation and I'm thrilled to be back. You'll find the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive. Their warm temperaments radiate outwards to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. I've noticed how everyone so far seems to wipe the machines down after they've used them which I feel is a testament to the respectful relationship staff have built with members. The facility is clean and there has been a refurb in my absence. I'm very impressed with how efficiently the space has been organised to accommodate all the new equipment.... lots of exciting new machines yet the team have managed to make the gym area seem more spacious?! - they must be wizards!

Fantastic experience: Best gym environment I’ve ever experienced. Equipment is always clean and updated. Fantastic friendly staff and have made some really good friends here. The gym recently closed for a week for a refurbishment and it made me realise how good I have it here after comparing it to other gyms I went to in that week

Fantastic experience: Good size gym, independent changing room & water fountain. Extremely clean for a gym also. A wide variety of cardio & lifting equipment, but not a lot of it. However, as its a quieter gym, the machines are usually free anyway.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym with the best variety of equipment for all workouts to suit all types of people. The gym is very clean and has the best facilities. Best part about the gym is the staff as they make you feel so welcome and create a lovely atmosphere to work out. I live close to another rival gym but won’t be going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: By far the best gym in the area and have tried a number of gyms around Hampshire/Surrey. Three lovely ladies running the place to perfection creating a super friendly gym atmosphere. Have been at this gym for two years now and could not recommend enough. Pops, Steph & Katie are highly attentive and put their members at the forefront of everything they do. From taking on board member suggestions, to the cleanliness of the gym. AF Bordon seems to be constantly looking to find ways of improving their gym, bringing in great equipment for us, whilst creating a fun and comfortable environment for people to train. Their instagram is great, offering advice on different exercises and nutrition tips. I couldn't recommend their 12 week wellness programme enough. There are unlimited classes all included in their monthly package which are great, free fruit and often protein treats/freebies! If you are even contemplating joining a gym, I would highly recommend you at least trial Anytime Fitness Bordon. Keep at it you three!

Fantastic experience: I went for a trial class and introduction a couple of months ago and signed up immediately. This gym is so well organized, great variety of classes, very well managed, great variety of equipment to suit every trainer's needs, friendly, caring and professional staff ... a 10 out of 10 for me!

Fantastic experience: Very clean, Staff lovely and open 24hrs, good security when not staffed. Does classes and is a fully equipped gym. You can work with the app if you are unable to attend the gym. The app is totally interactive and easy to understand and use. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Great selection of machines and free weights. Best to come early in the day or later at night to avoid busy hours.

Negative experience: Embarrassing lack of promotional creativity, social media post uncannily similar to another local gym, and seem to follow shortly after the original. Evasive tactics from the female Membership Advisor in October 2020 when I wanted to discontinue my use of AF, due to their lack of natural ventilation and unimpressive staff cleaning routine in relation to covid-19. Introducing 3 month and 6 month contracts was all well and good, however I was snuffed by the Membership Advisor at the suggestion to switch my contract to last for only a further 3 months. Not an accommodating attitude for someone who was clear about the fact they weren’t even using the gym.

Fantastic experience: Signed up a few weeks ago making use of their latest offer. 3 month contract and no fob fee. Being locked into 12 months is pretty naff but I get why they do it, just the stories of moving house etc seem like a pain. A rolling 3 months makes the membership worthwhile for me & my other half. Equipment levels are decent enough if you are into the free weights and they have a cracking studio for classes. The machines seem OK but I don't really use them to know. Plenty of cardio stuff too. Individual changing rooms are a nice feature and saves your eyes from some of the old boys willing to give the ol meaty coin purse a wave in the wind. I signed up post Covid and the measures in place are well thought through and easy to follow. Gets another plus for being available 24/7

Fantastic experience: I thought I’d describe my experience as a whole. So I initially requested a free trial and left a message on the website, it wasn’t long after that a lovely member of the staff (didn’t catch the name) called back to speak to me about coming in for a trial session and also answer the question I sent online. She was helpful and answered all my enquires. I then attended my slot, there was a door bell and I was welcomed in by the manager and shown around again friendly and helpful. The gym had a variety of equipment which was perfect for my work out.

Positive experience: Hello, I was considering joining until I found out from a member of staff that there was a fixed 12-month contract with prices set to rise to approx. £35-40 +. I wasn't given another membership or pricing option. Although I would have attended 2-3 times per week, reducing the fixed contract to 3 months or offering a greater variety of price options, would really help those who can't rock up all week. Anything can happen in 12 months and, sadly, it's a trait for gym chains to approach membership in this way. It is a lovely gym with lots of kit and I will consider joining in the future, if Anytime Fitness can be more flexible. Thanks.

Fantastic experience: Considering how small Bordon is I was pleasantly surprised they had an Anytime fitness. All lovely inside with a great range of CV, weights and weight machines. Great showers (as they always are at AF) and ideal for me who was working in the area as AF membership allows you to use all gyms across the country
