Fantastic experience: Indoor courts as well as out. Friendly bar staff with a seating area with views of the indoor courts. Tennis world in Middlesbrough compares well to this. Down the Line Academy at York St John is a rip off in comparison with staff there who are insulting, rude and incessantly confrontational every time I've been there

Positive experience: Used the gym at the tennis club, and it is clean, has a good selection of equipment, and accessible to a wide range of abilities (no need to be a gym fanatic to go here). Paddle courts and tennis courts are all well maintained.

Fantastic experience: Ripon Tennis Centre has a range of outdoor tennis courts and two indoor courts. There's also a well-equipped gym, bar area and good changing facilities. Coaching is available for beginners, children and improvers. Altogether a fine place for a tennis player, with some teams competing in local leagues and popular club nights.

Fantastic experience: Such a nice club. Kids had tennis lessons there and we're so happy with. Very friendly couches and top quality coaching.
