Negative experience: Crap repeating music, extremely warm (hot). Too overcrowded even after 8. You'll literally waste a lot of your time queuing.

Negative experience: Was not informed that the changing rooms were closed between 1am-3am, now stuck waiting with my stuff left in a locked in there as the contact point I used said they couldn’t do anything

Positive experience: Changing rooms to small. Only room for 3 people 4 at a push. The Gym should aquire the building next door and expand seeing as it's a popular and growing area.

Fantastic experience: Great place to work out and open 24 hours. Lots of equipment available

Negative experience: I like the gym, but unfortunately, it feels too small for the growing number of members in the area. The changing rooms are very cramped and small, and many of the lockers are broken. Today, when I arrived, the gym was so crowded that there were no available machines, weights, or benches. I had to completely change my workout plan, doing something I could have easily done at home to avoid multiple queues. I checked the app, and it said there were 90 people in such a small gym—how can anyone expect to have a proper workout under such conditions? Additionally, near the benches, there are no dumbbells under 6kg. This is frustrating, especially for people who use 2kg or 4kg weights. Given that there’s an empty store next to the gym, expanding the space seems like a necessary solution, especially with all the new developments in the area. Without this, it will only get harder to have a decent workout.

Negative experience: Can someone from The Gym Group expplain to us why they removed all the cleaning stations ( quite handy for members to clean the equipment after they use them?) [Spoiler] - One of The Gym Group member told me "(...) to save money" ... This is not hygenic and definitelly not something that they should save a money for Wondering how it is in other cities?

Negative experience: So I guess this gym serves a purpose. For me it didn't meet what I wanted. The machines left a lot to he desired with the attachment selection not being good enough. Didn't have a comfortable feel either, personal preference there though. Equipment has a very cheap feel to it, just used to better quality. Only went once which was enough to put me off. I'm not saying terrible and not to go, but as someone that enjoys weight training it just wasn't enough and glad I was able to cancel straight away. For people who like to lift and not just CV I would look elsewhere.

Positive experience: Would give more ⭐️BUT the removal of cleaning equipment is a poor decision. Put users health over profit and have it returned.

Negative experience: Used to be ok but decided to remove sanitisers and wipes in gym , car parks riddled with litter .. gym it self ok but given current climate .. I'd rather pay more .. what gym does not have cleaning facilities to wipe down when needed

Positive experience: Good gym with decent kit, parking is free. Let down by tiny changing room, barely space to turn around, as a result can get very congested at peak times. The recent removal of hygiene stations is a poor decision, members are recommended to bring a sweat towel, I am now regularly faced with equipment that is covered in other people's sweat with nothing to clean it with! Not a well thought out move and looking at other reviews, not a popular decision.

Negative experience: A disgusting Petri dish of sweat and germs. The corporate bean counters have removed all cleaning products so no one is cleaning anything after use. Make sure you are up to date with your jabs

Fantastic experience: Ever since I set foot in the place (getting over my own nervousness) I haven’t looked back. A friendly welcome from Darcy and Megan too. Kit always clean, tidy and in good repair. If you’re looking for a gym with no egos, but a hugely supportive “village” of gym goers, this is the place for you.

Fantastic experience: Great gym , nice atmosphere and friendly helpful staff . Good age range of members. The only gym I’ve ever enjoyed going to and stuck with , probably due to the above .

Fantastic experience: Harry and the team are so friendly and supportive. I went initially as it was more convenient than my last gym but found it to be so much more welcoming. It's got all the equipment I need to train and can't imagine needing to go anywhere else. Big shout to Harry, he's such a nice guy and always has time for everyone, regardless of age and ability.

Positive experience: Helpful staff and friendly people, not many classes that involve heavy lifting but plenty of options for Cardio. Very clean as well.

Positive experience: Great gym, great staff, very friendly BUT my bug bear is that too many people sit on equipment, using their phones between sets. Are they that addicted to Facetok or Tiksnap that they can't be off it for 2 mins. If you're in a gym then I'm presuming you're there to workout NOT sit on equipment snaptoking & telling everyone ya in the gym albeit you're not actually working out because ya to busy on ya phones. Go to the gym, workout then instabook to ya hearts content when ya finished, that way people that actually wanna workout can without having to wait around for you phoners to pout, snap & post for ya 3 "friends" on unsocial media

Equipment is always clean and rarely broken. But what makes this gym so much better are the staff who are friendly, approachable and offer great classes for free with your membership. Fantastic experience: Harru, thank you for such sn excellent Circuit this morning (Fri, May 3, 6.30am) lots of variety and a good mix. And as ever lots of help with getting technique rights and encouragement too. Outstanding. At this gym the enthusiastic and encouraging staff make classes really effective and motivate me to work far harder than I ever would on my own. It's very friendly and welcoming and - I never thought I'd say this about going to the gym - fun!

Fantastic experience: Recently joined from another gym, I wouldn’t look back now. This gym is clean and spacious, friendly staff and all the equipment that you would need.

Positive experience: Brilliant gym and great staff! Cleanliness standard really high. Missing a few pieces of equipment to take it from a 4 to 5 star. Like better pulldown attachments. Non slip floor near cables allowing for use of benches. Overall though I would recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: Locks Heath/Fareham Gym group is so welcoming. All the staff are friendly and chatty. Even for a shy, socially anxious person like myself I feel comfortable attending the array of classes and using the equipment which is always well maintained and clean. I’d recommend the Wednesday flexi stretch with Harrison, he’s super friendly, always has a smile and makes you feel relaxed. Excellent Gym, great range of equipment and wouldn’t go anywhere else

Fantastic experience: There is a huge choice of exercise equipment, a large area for free weights and to top that free exercise classes included with all levels of membership. Really clean and airy gym. Most members respect the cleanliness and clean equipment after use. Shout out to Harrison and Darcy who are always there to help and assist.

Fantastic experience: A very friendly and inclusive atmosphere. Classes are very good. Each instructor brings something different to the Class. I always feel like I couldn’t have given any more after each class. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: During the right time period this is nice to go to and is not busy. It’s a bit smaller than Thornhill but always tidy & clean. Staff have all been very polite/helpful when I have asked questions.

Fantastic experience: Nothing to complain about really, lots of equipment and all in great condition. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Only thing I can think off is the showers in the changing rooms smell before you start showing but thats expected as it’s a gym locker room.

Negative experience: Got the premium membership and had issues with my code not working at other gyms. Also this gym has a keypad for the. Changing rooms/toilet and they close them between 1-3am for the cleaner which they failed to advertise. I tried to bring a friend to the gym and thats main reason for the premium membership and the code didn't work at all. Also they pay very loud which is bit annoying. Other than that gym is well spaced out and great equipment.
