Fantastic experience: Great little gym in Morden, been a member since they started and have made a number of improvements along the way. Boxing area is great and group classes are fun!

Negative experience: I have been a member of on1fitness for about four months, and my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. After deciding to cancel my membership, I sent an email to notify the gym of my decision. Despite this, two months after my cancellation, the gym still attempted to deduct money from my bank account. When I realized what was happening, I called and spoke to someone at the reception. Instead of resolving the issue, they told me to cancel the direct debit on my own. I followed their advice and canceled the direct debit through my bank. Now, the gym is demanding that I pay unnecessary fees, despite the fact that I followed their instructions. This entire experience has shown me that this gym operates with a lack of professionalism and accountability. They have not only failed to manage my cancellation properly but now charged me for their own mistakes. I would advise anyone considering joining on1fitness to think twice before doing so. It's not worth the hassle and the unprofessional service.

Positive experience: Been a member for a year. Good independent gym. And has made improvements since joining. New equipment and cable attachments. Still has some very old machines that should be replaced to match the newer ones (leg curl especially - horrible to use) Dumbbells go up in 2.5 rather than 2 which is annoying. Decor and lighting could be better to improve atmosphere. Overall decent - £10 overpriced imo in the monthly membership.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with very helpful trainers, I had to move to a different gym due to a new training program that required me to use a pool so the only down side is that they don't have a pool. I had to train for a fitness test and at the time they provided me Personal Training to help me pass that test and at the end of it I was able to pass (Ali have been training me at the time but I am sure they are all extremely professional). I will also say that while I am sure its not exactly what the gym management wishes, it does not get too busy which is very good for people who train there often, I never had to wait for a machine or felt like there is no space. Also great location overall I think it is a great gym.

Positive experience: Fantastic gym, great location and super friendly, helpful staff. Not crowded by any means. The only downsides I would possibly mention is the rather uncomfortable leg press machine and no seated row machine/bench. Other than that it ticks all boxes. Pleasant experience overall.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I think this gym is a great opportunity missed, given the fab location and space they've created, so I post this review in the hope things might have improved since I was a member or if not might in the future. I cancelled because - Music was far too loud and drowns out any content you may be listening to yourself. It's rare that everyone likes the same music and for me it was music I really disliked. Having this blasted at me almost every time I went in was really off-putting. - Really hot in summer with a lack of ventilation or air con. Felt borderline unsafe at this time. - Weird situation where your photo pops up on a screen downstairs for all to see when you scan into the venue. No idea why this is and isn't great from a confidentiality point of view. - App is clunky. Sometimes staff on reception didn't have the required information and needed to seek it out elsewhere, though I appreciate the gym was still getting up and running - The value for money isn't great versus other options which also have newer equipment As I said I think it's a great shame that this gym isn't better as I was so excited when I saw it open in Morden Update 08.04.22 The reply by the gym says it all really! - Getting into financial questions of individual members! (incidentally how can one be in arrears on a rolling contract?!) GDPR guys... - The expectation to buy (what are actually expensive) headphones to block out avoidably loud noise. Incidentally I had £150 Bose noise cancelling headphones and they didn't work! - Just all that presumptuousness about me and my supposed love of corporate gyms! Remember, I joined your gym in the first place!

Positive experience: Nice gym. Doesn't get too crowded which is pretty good. Plenty of free weight options as well machine options, plenty of static bikes but only a few treadmill, and doesn't have cross trainers. Overall though, really nice atmosphere in the gym. Convenient as it's very close to the station, so I can go workout before going to work. The changing rooms are small but does the job. The only thing is, which wasn't there when I applied, is that because the gym is above another establishment, you've got to be very careful when dropping weights. Kind of a let down, when doing deadlifts. They provide a cushion, but this elevates the weight quite a bit. Like I said though, pretty decent gym overall.

Fantastic experience: Lovely gym in Morden at a strategic location. Been a member for more than a month now and it's been great. A wide variety of equipment and the place is very well kept. More importantly, the staffs at this gym are great and they respond to any questions that you have over the app very quickly. Shoutout to Ali and Lenny for showing me the right way to use the equipments and proper form for the different workouts.

Fantastic experience: Signed up to this gym from the opening month, lovely little place All the equipment you need. Friendly and informative staff. The app let's you know how busy the gym is, so you can visit at quite times if you prefer to social distance still. Definitely would recommend. They have added new equipment ready for 2023. Lots of classes available.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic local gym with a family-run feel. Smart use of space split over two floors, with some high-quality kit for all your strength training, cardio, or general functional fitness needs. On1Fitness have DBs up to 50kg, a good selection of barbells, a power rack, plate-loaded strength machines, boxing bags, a sled... The list goes on. Really friendly management team and superb value - would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Great Gym in a convenient location. Joined on the Monday morning when gyms reopened and had a message from the gym offering my induction for 9am the same day. The staff are friendly and answered any questioned I had. Gym is spotless, mens toilets are clean. Wide range of equipment to meet your training needs. Good choice of music playing. Convenient messaging system within the gyms app which goes to reception. Questions answered quickly. Can’t fault it.

Fantastic experience: I and my friend just love it, we were there to see it today and we sing in for our membership straightaway after we had more than 1 hour trying around the staff here is very nice and helpful, the gym is very clean and is new a variety of equipment also
