Fantastic experience: My local gym I always try to get here 3 or 4 nights a week (don't always manage it though!) There's a great atmosphere to the place and staff are always kind and helpful

Fantastic experience: There is no judgement in this gym, everyone is there to workout and no one stares, something I look for as an overweight middle-aged woman getting back to exercise. A basic gym with all the machines and free weights you could possibly want. Staff are approachable and the regular gym users are really helpful too. There are also classes, but they need pre booking as they can get full quickly. Membership allows you to use all of the OneGyms in the area The sauna is great, small but always ready for after your work out. Changing rooms are spacious and clean with showers

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym. Within 24 hours I had a PT (I think named Max) show me around all the equipment and put together a weight lifting plan for myself. Couldn’t have asked for more from the team.

Negative experience: Place is grossly over capacity and contains rats. Response shows the contempt they show a member of several years that they ousted for once bounced payment. As professional as Del-boy without the humour or charm. Gets mouthy on social media then cries with spurious complaints to police, like a rat. Generic response to membership numbers. Tell us capacity and how close to it we are. body extreme around the corner operates at 250 maximum. No surprise if you're no longer over capacity though if people have become wise to your cram them in like sardines policy and your, erm, "personalities". Did you try and discipline a staff member for training at another gym? Says it all about the quality of your facility and how sensitive and precious you are, if people hadn't already worked out such by your touchy responses to any criticism. Liars!

Fantastic experience: Superb gym. Clean, modern, well equipped, friendly helpful staff. Been a member here for years but felt compelled to review now as recently I've used loads of other gyms whilst travelling with work and confirmed just how good this gym is. Perfect mix of cardio, resistance and free weights. Loads of classes on offer which are included in the pricing. Genuinely can't fault this gym. I'd recommend it to anyone whether new or experienced gym user.

Positive experience: have to agree with another review, it's stupidly warm!! don't know how it's legal to keep a gym so hot, people stood around doing nothing probably don't care but anyone lifting properly will know a gym should be kept cooler than this... surprised nobody has passed out yet! expensive membership for a gym that isn't air conditioned, great equipment and people but I can't get a real workout in. Reply to another review said "most buildings are hot lately given the temp"!? ITS A GYM! It's not most buildings! It's supposed to be cool!

Positive experience: Great gym but the "air conditioning" is a joke, inside of the gym is sitting easily at 22-24°, making it impossible to lift seriously without sweating unbearably.

Fantastic experience: I've been going for a while now, and I can confidently say, that this is the best gym in town. And definitely better than anything in darlington, the biggest concern when joining the gym in these areas is that there's going to be a high influx of mutants and chavs, and I can happily say that there is a very low number, it's such a great environment I don't even bother locking my locker. Equipment is great new and clean the staff are attentive and friendly. Can't fault it at all I think it's really good value for money. Busy in the evenings but that's like every other gym in the country. Highly recommend.

Positive experience: Good gym. Plenty of equipment for its size but does feel a bit crowded in areas with amount of equipment in the foot print of working area

Positive experience: It’s a decent gym, staff are canny and plenty of machines when it’s not too busy as it’s not the biggest gym. Very clean all over which is great to see. Biggest criticism is the equipment, all looking very tired with tears in the material of seats and pads. Running machines incredibly basic. Could all do with a huge refresh but can’t imagine happening anytime soon due to pandemic. It’s serviceable for now.

Negative experience: Never trust this company with your bank details they were recently closed for about 3 months, not their fault I know, but sure as hell not my fault. During this time I have taken contract work in Germany for 4ish months. Under their own terms of limited right to cancel, the following applies 1, change of hours that deny me access - I would say being closed for 3 months must qualify. 2, if you move out of the area and unreasonable distance to use facilities- I would think a different country would apply. So I email them and tell them they have breached their contract so under the above two points i am cancelling the contract. Also contact my bank and cancell the direct debit. A short while later, I find they have set up a new direct debit against my explicit instructions and taken money from my account. I have reported this to the banks fraud department, my next step will be to invoke county court action against them. Totally unprofessional and untrustworthy.... Avoid them at all costs!!!!!! I will continue to update this review as it continues. Hopefully it will end with an apology and not a CCJ.

Fantastic experience: Recently joined really nice atmosphere plenty range of equipment started some classes and really enjoy them think total zone and lbd are great love how classes are mostly incorporating weights I do enioy the sauna only down fall is even when gets the high temp it's not very hot like other Saunas if the temp could be higher that be even better but apart from that really good gym.. And kept very clean too :)
