Positive experience: Nice gym that is generally not busy but sometimes, you need to queue for the barbell squats as there are only 2 racks. In terms of equipment, almost everything is great, but some things are very old (especially the benches), although usable. You have to pay to use the scales, even though it's only 20p. There's no air con, so it can get extremely hot in the summer.

Positive experience: Decent place but the gym needs updating and maintenance, a lot of the equipment is on its last legs.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym, it's never crowded so you never have to queue, there are plenty of weights and machines, and the staff is nice. Also, because it used to be a nightclub in the 80s they left the disco ball hanging out on the ceiling!

Fantastic experience: I recently joined this gym, and its location is perfect for those living in north London, especially near Harringay - Green Lanes. The gym has a welcoming and community-oriented atmosphere, which is a major plus. However, I have to mention that the gym and its facilities are quite outdated, despite having the potential to be great. It's in need of a facelift to offer a more pleasant training environment for its members. On the bright side, the real gem of this gym is Kamila, the personal trainer. She's not just your average PT; she takes a holistic approach to fitness whilst empowering you to enjoy weightlifting. Kamila goes the extra mile to understand how female health and hormones work, tailoring her training programs to align with your unique needs and goals. Her dedication to your well-being is unparalleled. Kamila isn't just interested in helping you achieve fitness goals; she wants to improve your overall health and empower you with the knowledge and help to get stronger. She's a true expert in her field and a mentor who genuinely cares about your success. She is hands down the most professional, dedicated, and passionate PT I’ve ever encountered in London. As a female, I'm thrilled to have found her. Positive experience: It's £8 day pass, it looks like a gym you would expect out of a movie filmed in the Bronx of NY.

Fantastic experience: When I lived close by I took this gym for granted. Had all the equipment you could want and more, very clean and users were also hygienic enough to wipe equipment after use during COVID, equipment is usually free and if not people are willing to let you use the machine while they try others. As this was the first gym I went to, I expected other gyms to be the same but realised this place was special.

Fantastic experience: Love the mix of the old school weight machines and the disco mirror ball from when it was a club. Gym introduced me to an incredible PT, Kamila. If you are a woman looking to learn weightlifting, ask for her she is the best!

Negative experience: Not great tbf. Kinda wobbly equipment and benches. Dirty mats. Broken glass mirrors. Unhelpful/kinda rude and standoffish staff. Smelly changing rooms etc. no water taps other than having to ask the staff for the warm tap water… I’m not a massive guy either so got strange looks from the staff? Which I believe is the direct opposite of how good gyms operate. If you’re looking for heavy weight and lots of large sweaty, forgive the colloquialism, meat-head types? This is a good gym for ya!

Negative experience: Very disappointed. Gym looks like it’s falling apart with all the old Equipment and the changing rooms are really disgusting to be in, you shouldn’t even be able to use them since it looks like the ceilings are falling apart and full of Mould. Most of the barbells and dumbbells are very very bent and would be very easy for people to injure themselves. This will definitely be reported to HSE - Health And Safety Executive.

Positive experience: Friendly staff and really helpful... Sunday was empty but have a sweet workout with no stress.

Positive experience: Good gym. Wide selection of machines. Staff friendly. However, I didn’t see many people using the sprays and cloths available to clean the equipment after use. As a whole the gym could be a little cleaner.

Fantastic experience: It's a Great gym. Tons of weights and different types of equipment. Strength training, cardio, boxing, stretching, it has equipment for pretty much every gym need you might have. There's a really good atmosphere and the people working there are really nice and friendly. If you need a gym membership then I would recommend signing up here :)

Fantastic experience: Love my local gym! No frills but very comfortable atmosphere, all the free weights/machines/floorspace I could want and never seems to be too crowded. Friendly staff, and lots of great local PTs to get you started. Best of all, pay as you go--with no contract!! Thrilled that this place is a block from my house.
