Fantastic experience: So I am into my third cycle with Results Academy and can honestly say that I love it. No posing or posturing, just genuine support and encouragement. Currently coming to the end of 4 weeks of HIIT, and looking forward to weight training again for December. With thanks to Susie, Lucy, Denis and Sami.

Fantastic experience: I started the group training sessions very early on in my pregnancy and kept going twice a week right through until a few weeks before the baby was due. The classes are well run, personalised and everyone gets to know each other, which is really nice. Lucy and Denis were absolutely brilliant. They adjusted all my exercises and weights week by week, as I got bigger and bigger. It was the best thing I did while pregnant. Thank you so much to Lucy, Denis & team!

Positive experience: After being a member of this gym for over a year, I've noticed both its strengths and areas for improvement: - The staff here are very friendly, always greeting you when you arrive or around the gym. They make everyone feel welcome. -The gym is rarely crowded, which means you can train comfortably at any time of the day. -New equipment has recently been added, which is great. -Free parking on site. However, there are a few concerns that members often discuss: -The overall cleanliness is very poor, particularly in the changing rooms. There is a very unpleasant odour and they are not kept clean as they should be. -Some of the machines and benches are quite dated and held together with tape or DIY fixes. -Many of the mirrors are either broken or in need of a clean. -The cardio equipment is also outdated, and there's a lack of variety. -The dumbbells are worn, with their weights marked in white pen, and some have handles secured with black tape. -Lastly, a recent email announcing a £7 monthly price increase has led several members to cancel their memberships. While the gym is reasonably priced, anything over the standard price of £29.99 a month seems steep given its current condition. Overall, my experience at the gym has been positive, thanks to its welcoming atmosphere and the recent addition of new equipment. However, the gym is in desperate need of refurbishment and most importantly to address the cleanliness issues.

Fantastic experience: Well equipped, friendly gym. An environment where you want to work hard. One of few gyms Ive actually switched my headphone music out for at times! Highly recommend if you’re around Abingdon.

Fantastic experience: Excellent initial discussion with Lily which led to me joining. Given two sessions to work out a plan for me. Have now been four times with my personal plan and am loving it. It’s exactly what I was hoping for. Thank you everyone at Abingdon. One happy customer.

Positive experience: Drove this place but it looked nice.

Negative experience: Training with Stuart has been a pleasure, however the gym is very unclean, old and the equipment is not great! The toilets are not very clean and all lockers are broken except for one! Staff is friendly!

Fantastic experience: Joined the Results Academy 5 weeks ago. I was a bit daunted to start with but staff are friendly and supportive. At 73, I have definitely improved my strength and fitness . Exercises are modified to suit any problem areas so I didn’t need to worry if I struggled with some exercises. A great experience.

Positive experience: Like the classes but have to book with weeks in advance and the dressing room really needs a revamp. Convenient location.

Positive experience: Great gym overall, staff super friendly and quite strong/athletic themselves, which is always reassuring. The regulars give the gym a much sought after communal vibe for frequent visitors. If I could make one change I'd ask for more accessory leg machines (i.e. adductors).

Positive experience: Kind, friendly, helpful and always an attendant to help....really important in a gym. Also they freeze your payment if you go away for a holiday or illness.

Fantastic experience: I can highly recommend Results! My training is tailor-made to match my goals. I have direct access to my instructor Lucy, via an app. Lucy is knowledgeable, supportive and focused on getting me the results I'm looking for.

Positive experience: Place need a bit of re-fresh. I am with this gym for over a month now and some equipment that was broken when I have joined in is still broken. I have mentioned this several time to gym staff but not sure something is going to be changed. Specialy there are other gyms in the area that are cheaper and newer. I hope someone will finally take an action

Fantastic experience: Lucy is guiding me via online coaching, I was a bit sceptical to start with but this has been the best thing I've done for myself since having children. I've lost weight, I'm eating better and my body has changed shape in 5 weeks since starting strength training at home. Lucy is always there with advice and keeps me accountable. All from the comfort of my own home which is amazing when you have small children/ work due to time constraints! Thank you Lucy

Fantastic experience: I simply can’t praise this gym highly enough. I joined the Results Academy about 8 weeks ago and it was 100% the best decision. The staff are not only helpful and friendly but also extremely knowledgeable. The 1-2-1 support I have received has been second to none which has really encouraged me to train hard and eat well. And the results (no pun intended) have been fantastic. Give this gym and team a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Negative experience: I subscribed with them for one month in May . And I moved out from abingdon to another city. So after a few months In 11 of September I found out they took money from my account 29.50£. And today is 17th of October. It’s been more than a month I asked them for refund but they keep ignoring me . Be careful with them they’ll took your money rather your with them or no .

Fantastic experience: I became a member of Results Health club around 4 weeks ago after seeing an Ad on Facebook, as I suffer from a rare form of Parkinson’s called Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) which can cause problems with balance and movement also vision, speech and swallowing. So I needed to get my fitness levels back and joined the Over 60s workout program which was two Academy sessions with a trainer of your choice every week for four weeks, plus you can use all the facilities of the gym anytime you want. My trainer has been Lucy who’s taken time getting to know me and getting me the right exercise to suit my condition.Lucy has been very helpful and professional in her work as a fitness trainer and made each session enjoyable, even when I was struggling with some of the exercises Lucy would always be there with words of encouragement or another way to do the exercise which I found really helpful, The total package have been awesome with all the other staff very supportive, helpful and generally pleased to see you and greet you with a smile.The gym it’s self is quite spacious with plenty of equipment and information, I’ve really appreciated the effort and positivity shown by Lucy and would certainly recommend her as a trainer.

Positive experience: Honestly a good gym, Everyone helps everyone. i can speak to anyone in there and get tips whether thats people that work there or people training. Things that need to be sorted - Smell in the changing rooms (Plumbing issue) -Toilet keeps blocking (Plumbing issue) -shower needs fixing -More bar weights -More air con -fix the mirrors If this all gets fixed it would be 5 stars I dont know who the owner of the business is but i think they need to open their wallet and fix these issues.

Positive experience: The gym itself needs a makeover but it has everything you need. It's a good gym. Just the mens toilet light doesn't work, door doesn't shut, it's way too hot in the gym and the staffs food smell goes everywhere. Other than than that all good apart from some of the gear needs freshening up. But yeah good gym

Fantastic experience: This was my first time joining a gym and I’m glad I chose Results. The whole team is really friendly and helpful! Stuart took me through how everything worked during my induction, so it wasn’t overwhelming getting started. It also feels personalised, as you get some workouts designed for you based on what your goals are. I usually go early in the morning and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommended!

Negative experience: Had a trial at this gym after Anytime Fitness in Abingdon closed down. Would not recommend. Most of the equipment is either well used or held together with duck tape. The weights are mostly metal plates with the total weight written in pen which makes it difficult to see the total weight. It also didn't seem to have any aircon in there which made the place boiling even with all the windows open and a couple of fans. I was sweating before I'd even started to work out. The staff seemed friendly and the website is alright to use.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly and supportive gym. Everyone made to feel so welcome. I've been doing the academy classes for a year now and I could never have imagined the change that two sessions per week can bring about in terms of my strength, sleep and general wellbeing. I couldn't have done this by myself. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: The team here have been really supportive in my journey back to fitness and strength. Nothing has been too much trouble from sorting out nutrition to exhausting but enthusiastic work outs. If you are thinking of joining the academy, don't wait, just do it. It will be the best thing you have done for yourself all year!

Negative experience: The staff are nice but the gym is dank and dark. It needs a whole new make over. It was hard to be motivated to exercise there with old equipment, old carpet, old and dark facilities. The reason why I went there was location. It was right across the street from my home.

Fantastic experience: I joined Results 10 weeks ago! Having gained a lot of weight, lost a lot of confidence and not partaken in any real training for a long time! I initially sent an enquiry after seeing an advert, I received a phone-call with in 10-15 minutes and booked my my first appointment for the following day! I had an initial consultation with Denis, who instantly made me feel at ease and not judged. I then started a four week academy programme to regain my confidence and motivate me to keep going. The academy sessions were fantastic, run by Denis, Lucy and Suzie, all of whom are great instructors, helpful, approachable and motivating. What struck me most was knowing my name from day one! I had a review 4 weeks in with Stuart, who again, was professional, made me feel at ease and really motivated to push myself in my review. I had some great results in the first 4 weeks. Stuart then devised a programme for me to train alone in the gym, and walked me through the programme step by step, checking form and making sure I was using the right weight. I’ve had some great results in the last ten weeks and now train at least 4 times a week, something I haven’t done for many years. The gym is friendly and well equipped. It has members of all ages and levels of fitness and strength. I would have no hesitation in recommending Results to anyone. I have honestly never been a member at a gym where the trainers are so friendly and eager to assist and keep motivating you and have a genuine interest in how you’re progressing.

Fantastic experience: I was nervous of gyms but decided to give Results Gym a try and I am glad I did. They help you use the equipment and set you on your way to a constructive workout programme. Sam and Stuart have been patient and kind which has definitely helped with confidence building. All the staff are friendly and approachable. There is a variety of machines and great atmosphere. This is a gym for all ages and would recommend it.

Fantastic experience: Have been looking for a new class due to relocation and found Results gym. Excellent induction programme. Stuart the PT extremely engaging and knowledgeable. Full on support and puts you at ease. Attended my first session last week after my firm session also with Stuart which keeps continuity. Session with Suzie who again very professional and engaging really takes an interest in both you and your training with a good quality intense session that gives you an all over body workout. Environment very much has a community feel would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: I'm a client if the chiropractor downstairs and heard many good things about the gym so decided to give it a try. I felt supported the whole way, everything was very clear and I never felt ashamed because I couldn't do something. Thumbs up!

I spent many years wanting to use a gym but always been put off by past experiences of commercial gyms where I felt like just a number. Fantastic experience: I love this gym always puts a smile on my face. When I first joined was given a session with a trainer, he wrote me two training programs which is on my gym app so I can follow them whenever I want. Currently I'm focused on running to help me train for half a marathon I'm doing later this year. Thank you everyone for making this such a nice gym.

Positive experience: Expensive payg £6.50 but had no change facilities so I ended up paying £7. Lots of machine hogging and people not unloading weights after use. Atleast free parking behind the building.

Fantastic experience: What a warm and welcoming environment! It's never easy joining a new group, not knowing anyone, but at Results gym in Abingdon, I felt immediately a part of the community. Both the Results team and the other members are very friendly, and that makes even the toughest workouts so much more fun! I know that the trainers are keeping an eye on me all the time, to ensure that the exercises are appropriate for my level of fitness, and they are always ready with an alternative if I am finding anything difficult. I am very happy with my progress at the academy; I look forward to each session, and feel very unhappy if I have to miss one!

During the 8 weeks I have been at Results, I have been nothing but impressed by the staff. They have helped me meet my fitness goals through their upbeat, targeted programs and encouragement. It turns out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made in ages. I’m just 8 sessions I have lost body fat, increased muscle and increased general fitness. Not only that, the trainers have been incredibly supportive as have those in the classes too. I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you

Fantastic experience: I joined a 4-week offering as a good way to keep up fitness after I moved house. I really appreciated the small group carefully personalised programme and was delighted to see significant measurable improvements. Fantastic experience: Great gym with incredibly friendly staff. When I started they did a fitness test and set up a personal workout plan that aligned with my goals. There is also the ability make an appointment to update or revise that plan when you want. And the trainers are always happy to help if you have any questions. I feel at any other gym you would pay extra for these services, so I feel very luck to have found my way to Results Health Club. My roommates also go to this gym and we all love it!

Fantastic experience: I haven't been to a gym for 16 years and was really nervous about starting up again and had no idea what to do and had no motivation. I tried diffrent forms of excercise but always gave up. It took me months to pluck up the courage to book a consultation but I am so pleased I did. I joined the Results acadamy everyone is so friendly Susie and Lucy are amazing and I really enjoy my group PT sessions, they encourage and really help motivate you to get the results. 4 weeks in and I can feel and see a difference it is the perfect start for someone like me, I've signed up for the next 12 weeks and have started to use the gym equipment too with a programme they did for me. I wish I had done it months ago if you are thinking of joining the academy or just the gym just do it you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: Defo one of the best gyms I've been to. Super friendly, motivating and helpful Staff (Susie, Lucy and Steve met so far) make the place. Seem like they have a good range of equipment though I've only been using it for HIIT sessions so far and can recommend. No tie-ins, just good people, reasonable prices and facilities - what's not to like?

Fantastic experience: Lovely friendly gym, not intimidating at all. I signed up for the 4 week Results Academy trial and have just signed up for another 12 weeks. You have an assessment at the beginning (its not at all scary!) and then at the end of the 4 weeks and they talk you through your progress. The sessions are enjoyable and varied (I have a low boredom threshold so this is good!). The instructors are great - they do push you but in a really supportive way. I am looking forward to what the next 12 weeks will bring! I haven't used the gym yet, just gone to the sessions but that is the next step.
