Fantastic experience: We're tenants of BLOCK and this week gathered 50 of our colleagues from across the country for an event in Plymouth. Georgia and Lizzie were so helpful in assisting us with preparations and very patient as we made some last minute changes! They were attentive and efficient throughout the day and helped make it a great success. Thank you so much!!

Fantastic experience: We (Ward Williams) have organised a two day event at Block Plymouth and from the very early stages of planning, up to the delivery, we had an incredible experience. Georgia was very patient and listened to all our ideas and queries and has delivered above and beyond expectations. This was not our first collaboration with Block Plymouth and we highly recommend them for any event/meeting.

Fantastic experience: I’ve recently taken up a co-working space here and can’t recommend Block enough. It’s a fantastic working environment, with plenty of light and space, and great views of RWY and the water. There are also tea and coffee facilities in the space, with several eating options nearby in the yard. The team are super-friendly and take a pride in making this a great place to work. Pricing is also very competitive and includes gym membership. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: A massive thank you to Georgia and everyone who stepped in last minute to save my daughter’s 5th birthday party. Not the usual function for such an impressive space but it worked out perfectly on so many levels. All staff were incredibly accommodating - generous with their time and allowing us free rein over two rooms. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect solution to what could have been an absolute nightmare. The aesthetic of the building is striking and the setting is stunning. Even the coffee cups from the cafe are worth noting. The cafe is worth a visit alone, easily one of the nicest coffees in Plymouth. I will be telling everyone about our experience and hope BLOCK and all staff get the recognition they deserve.

Fantastic experience: We recently held our office launch party at BLOCK Plymouth. The BLOCK Team were really professional, helpful and friendly to our guests. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the event went without any issues! The venue was perfect for us which overlooks the beautiful RWY harbour! The team looked after us really well. Negative experience: This place has such a cool vibe aesthetically, I was eager to visit after finding it online. When me and my partner visited there was no friendly welcome, one worded answers to our questions and a really frosty vibe from the staff member who greeted us. It was Friday evening so we were looking to have a relaxed drink after dinner. When we arrived we sat down and was looking at the drinks menu trying to find the cocktails (there was no 'hey guys, are you looking to get some cocktails this evening?') After looking for longer than we should've, she asked if we wanted the cocktails menu, she then went to the cupboard to get it (why wasn't this on the side already, as this is advertised as a vibrant cocktail bar?) After looking, I asked the lady if they had a coffee based cocktail (like an espresso Martini). She said to us is it on the menu? I said i dont think so, She then picked up the menu, looked at it, looked back as us and said if it's not on the menu then no (all said with an attitude). I'm happy to try different cocktails but there was no questions on what we like and no recommendations. She then asked if this was all we were going to be ordering (all were going to be ordering? - wow), if so she would ask her boss. She left to ask her boss and we decided to leave after feeling so uncomfortable (we felt like a burden being in there, which is shocking). There was not even the very basic level of service, let alone what you would expect in a place that seems like it wants to be creative, cool and a comfortable vibe.
