Fantastic experience: Been going for event training friendly owner, and dog - gyms need dawgs - good range of equipment and plenty of space. A developing space with the owner putting their heart and soul in to it. Support a local gym - not a chain.

Negative experience: The owner is rude, the facilities are shocking , the gym is dirty looks like a scrap yard .. a rubbish one at that. Seriously needs some order! and the body building lady I was confronted with needs to tone her roid rage down.. but if you need some gear looks like the place to go

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym. Very old school, friendly, great classes, very knowledgeable about fitness and keeping healthy, no contract and brilliant prices . Lots of fitness options for all ages and abilities, classes, PT sessions, deep tissue messages and various different types of machines and equipment in the gym

Fantastic experience: I was in the area for a few days and found this real gem of a gym offering good value day passes. The gym is very well equipped. The people are great and the gym has a fantastic vide about it. Loved every training session here and can't wait to visit again.

Negative experience: When i went there I try to use a punching bags. The woman behind the reception said nothing, no hello hi nothing just if you destroy them (the bags) you need to pay because they are new. I just left her with this attitude without using the gym. This is why i give 1 star. This gym is not for strangers is probably more like a local gym friendly only to the local people. I remember the cost was 5 pounds but better to pay more and you will get a friendly welcome too. I moved to ramsgate to live but never visited this place again.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Kinda old school feel about the place. Owner Nikky is really friendly & great to talk to about a multitude of stuff. She's an Amazing coach also, knows her stuff. Would recommend giving the place a go. Drop ins £5 a visit.

They’re also very knowledgeable and will help whenever possible without question. I live up North but make a habit of visiting whenever I’m working in the area. Great buzz and great equipment!

Fantastic experience: Perfect place to train for strongman or powerlifting or bodybuilding. Has equipment that no other gym in the area has and it's a whole new experience. Female friendly (woman owner) and wonderful classes.

Fantastic experience: Waugh machines is absolutely brilliant for all your fitness needs, it is a family run business and they actually know everything there is to know about health and fitness. Unlike most gyms that are in it for the money and nothing else here at waugh machines they will take the time to talk to you about your needs and goals and see you as a person rather than a price tag. I definitely recommend this gym to anybody who is wanting to change their health and lifestyle you will most definitely get results here weather it be weightloss, weight gain competing for a competition or what ever your goal is waugh machines is the place to be.

Fantastic experience: Much more than a gym! A community with very experienced, skilled and knowledgeable people at its core. I walked in with a little trepidation but was immediately given a warm welcome and felt at home in the atmosphere. The gym design is superb, the equipment has been specially sourced to promote an old skool feel but with contemporary pieces too to ensure you get a whole body workout. The membership cost is more than reasonable considering I have paid double in other places and that includes all classes which are focused on conditioning and include yoga. It literally has EVERYTHING you need and clearly I cannot rave about it enough (just wish I could get there more often!)
