Fantastic experience: Ordered a pair of dumbbells, with 60kg of weight. Product is actually incredible for the price you can't get close anywhere else. Service could be better, got a confirmation email, nothing else until it was delivered. A dispatch email would have nice with tracking details

Negative experience: I wrote the below review on TrustPilot, having received extremely poor service from the company. Despite Gavin not bothering to reply to any of my emails or refund me for a product he has failed to deliver, he seems to have the time to write a lengthy message on TrustPilot explaining why people shouldn't trust reviews on that site, and should look at Google instead. I am therefore reposting this review here for all to see. I would also suggest people to go TrustPilot to take a look at other similarly negative reviews (although surprisingly a few positive ones have now popped up there - been busy, Gavin?). I am sure some people have been more than happy with the service they have received, but I'm afraid that was not the case for me. As mentioned, Gavin could have just dealt with this by replying to any of my emails, or refunding me my money. PS - any chance you could actually send me my money back, seeing as you still haven't delivered on my order from 2 months ago Original review: DO NOT USE. This company appears to be a scam. Ordered an item for delivery in 7-10 days. Hadn't received it 3 weeks later and have been chasing ever since. No response to any emails. Did receive a standard email saying my item would be out for delivery the next day, however the courier link just shows they are expecting the item, but have not received it. Now a further 3 weeks have passed and still no response.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic. I ordered the Dumbbell. EZ bar and straight bar combo with 92kg of weights. The quality of the products is very good and the raw effect on the bars looks amazing. The guys were also brilliant in answering any questions I had. I also had £100 of gym clothing/accessories included as part of a promotion they had at the time which was well worth it as they included lots of useful and good quality bits and pieces. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for these kind of products.

Fantastic experience: Ordered at beginning of March and received 10 days later. GymBeing are as good as their word and managed my expectations very well. Liaised with John a couple of times who was really helpful and courteous. I bought the Nickel 40kg dumbbells and all I can say is WOW! Have used for multi joint movements on chest, back and shoulders often at full weight over the last few days and the collars didn’t even budge by 1mm! As a weightlifter of 34 year’s experience, this is the best adjustable kit I’ve seen and feels comparable to commercial gym standard. The collar system is innovative and secure. I gave both ends a really hard bash on the floor vertically, with one of the dumbbells fully loaded and the collars kept all the plates firmly in place. I can now train as heavy and with as much versatility as I can in my local hardcore gym and that is saying something! Fantastic experience: Genuine honest review Ordered Pair of 30kg dumbells. Ordering process: my score = 10/10 The website is nice, user friendly and easy to checkout. Many payment options available from credit cards to PayPal to spreading the cost over weeks or months interest free. Delivery time, my score = 5/10 Ordered on the 8th February 2021 and finally arrived on Friday 19th February. I was told delivery will take 5-7 days. Delivery, my score 6/10 The guy turned up and basically had two dumbells in the boot which he kindly carried into my garage for me. The whole process looked like some guy coming to drop of second hand equipment to you. I was expected the dumbel plates to be boxed at least and some sort of packaging but for for price it's difficult to complain. I was handed a few leaflets which advised on how to clean and store etc and also a Allen key for the clips. First impression, my score = 10/10 On first sight the dumbells look amazing, solid, beautifully cut and heavy duty. Put it this way, if Apple did dumbells, they would design them like these. Bear in mind that the dumbels are coated in some sort of protective oil, so as soon as you have them, you're hands will will covered in black stuff. Wear gloves and maybe wipe them down? The 30kg pair are made up of 24 x 2.5kg plates. You can remove plates and make up different combinations. Even combinations can be 5kg,  10kg, 15kg, 20kg, 25kg and 30kg. Uneven combination (not recommended unless you know what you're doing) can be 5kg, 7.5kg, 10kg, 12.5kg, 15kg, 17.5kg, 20kg, 22.5kg, 25kg, 27.5kg and 30kg. Clips, my score 3/10 The plates are held on with 1 clip on each side. The clips have a screw on the top and a screw on the bottom which has to be tightened or loosened by the supplied Allen key. Pretty simple to do but can take a few minutes. You must appreciate that the clips are holding some serious weight which you are swinging around and maybe dropping from a height. I try and avoid dropping my dumbels but sometimes you have no choice but to drop them from about an inch or half an inch from the ground. I have a thick rug which covers most of the floor area and the clips can move by about half a mm. The clips have already started becoming loose after 3 workouts. Sometimes I'm worried to use the dumbels over my head. Price, my score = 10/10 The price is absolutely fantastic for what you get. For £299 or £269 with 10% discount you are literally getting up to 11 combinations of dumbells. Standard fixed weight dumbell sells for around the following, for example, HEX pair of 10kg cost around £80, pair of 15kg cost £116, pair of 20kg cost £146. I bought some fixed weight dumbells before I heard of gymbeing. I paid £45 for pair of 5kg, £108 for 12.5kg and £129 for pair of 17.5kg. If you devide the £269 with the possible 11 weight combinations, it works out at around £24.50 per weight pair. You can't beat that value. Using the dumbells, my score = 10/10 Solid weights, no shakes or problems. Enjoyed a solid chest work out. Thinks to take note The handles are smooth, so grip wise it's ok if you wear gloves, especially leather gloves. These plates are prone to rust if stored in damp or wet areas. Ensure they are always kept dry and spray them with wd-40 to preserve damage. If you are buying these for quick drop sets then think again. The plates take a good few minutes to change using the Allen key. The dumbel bar is 35mm in diameter so standard clips do not fit on these. Use the clips provided, if they break, then buy some metal pipe clips from screw fix for a few quid. Gymbeing sell clips, but in my opinion they are expensive at £30 for set of 4 clips. I would not recommend using these to do exercises such as skull crushers, or pull overs. Or anything over ur head where the dumbell would be vertical. If the clip fails, then u will end up in A&E. Fantastic experience: Ordered a set of 40kg adjustable dbells on Jan 28th, they arrived exactly 1 week later. Excellent service considering the national lockdown. The dbells are perfect, been in various gyms in London, best dbells i have ever used. Thanks Gavin and your team.

Fantastic experience: Ordered the adjustable 40kg dumbbells a few days ago and after speaking with Gavin he told me he will get my order out to me this week, like a true gent he delivered on that promise and they arrived today. Super happy with the dumbbells, great quality and customer service. Would definitely recommend this company.

Negative experience: My partner placed an order at the start of December for multiple items to be advised days before Christmas this order could not be fulfilled and Gymbeing cancelled it. Then we placed another order on December 27th and have had to chase this on many occasions only to be given misleading information on delivery. We have then chased this up again on Jan 25th to be advised the order would be shipped DPD next day. This happened however the items delivered were not the items orders. I have always been an advocate for this company and advised friends of how good they are now with this experience I am highly disappointed and will not be ordering again from them.

Negative experience: Not the best really in my honest opinion if you want to change the weight inbetween sets its very time consuming, 2 Alan key screws either side of the clip, and both sides then you have to make sure its square and tight otherwise the plates and clips fall off not the best for 300 pound and the owner isn't very nice or understanding

Fantastic experience: After shopping tirelessly online in the new and used market... I finally invested in Gymbeing, I got the Dumbbells with 80kg of plates (40 × 2). They're super sleek and durable in design yet I love the 'old-school' feel and look. It's super easy to change plates with the Allen key provided. This came with some awesome free Merch (Snapback, Lightweight Jumper, T'shirt). I then had to get the barbell, same super awesome quality with another Allen key and more clips. There was however some confusion with the delivery, after contacting Gavin at Gymbeing about where they are he investigated for me. (It turned out a postal error) This was of no fault to Gavin, HOWEVER he sent me a new Barbbell and ALSO compensated me with an additional free tracksuit. (As pictured) Outstanding customer service! Can't wait to expand my Gymbeing arsenal.

Negative experience: We are still waiting for a reply for our refund, we have tried phoning, messaging and nothing!!! We waited over 2 weeks for the product and when they were received they were covered in oil and the edges were so sharp they were unsafe. Can we please get a reply about this.

Ordered the 40KG adjustable dumbbells, couldn't believe it when I got a text Wednesday 6th January to advise dumbbells would be delivered that day. Just done my 1st workout this morning with them floor pressing, flys, and other dumbbell movements. Cracking communications, service and so far good kit too.

Negative experience: Almost 10 days after I made an order,when I contacted Gavin to ask for some update on the delivery or tracking information, not only he was not giving me any I formation but he was very rude and seemed to not care. When I asked to cancel my parcel and for a refund he blocked me on WhatsApp, and then I was blocked on the Facebook page of gymbeing when I posted a comment asking for the same Info since I never received any info on when I would receive my equipment. It took me weeks of messaging, calling and emailing several people to finally get my order cancelled and a refund for a parcel I never received. Worst customer service I ever received. I do not recommend at all.

Negative experience: Agree with the negative comments. Product arrives very dirty, hard to clean and very difficult to change plates quickly given the requirement for an Allen key. Tried calling to return and after the owner Gavin gave me the return address and I shipped the items back, he tells me I need to change the return address as their usual shop only opens for a short while. Disgusted with the customer service and would recommend ppl stay away. My items are now lost and I have to seek compensation from the courier company. Total shambles and I would definitely tell people to stay away. There are much better loadable dumbbells out there which you can buy. Think Mirafit is one that’s at a reasonable price. Those are Olympic dumbbells too so fit the standard Olympic plates.
