Fantastic experience: Free parking directly opposite the gym. Always brightly lit and feels safe, unlike other facilities in the area. PT Emily is amazing!

Fantastic experience: Super convenient location, very tidy and well organised, and everyone is so kind and helpful. I was apprehensive at first, but this gym has such a nice energy about it, and I believe it is mainly down to the people managing it and those coming there for their workout. George can make miracles happen (couldn’t have asked for a better PT), and his colleagues have been very kind and accommodating to a total noob like me, especially on the odd day when I am on my own. Whilst it can get busy at times, I have always managed to get my exercising done and achieve goals given how well organised the gym is, with a diverse range of machines and weights offering multiple options to work out without feeling crowded or like you are exercising into someone else’s space. I could not have picked a better place to start on my journey to being a better version of myself.

Fantastic experience: I have found that nrg gym is the best gym in Gravesend. I’ve recently moved from pure gym, and i’ve found that nrg has so much more equipment and space. I love how there is a women’s only section. All the staff here are really friendly, especially my personal trainer, Emily Sands

Negative experience: It’s really bad experiences to me, the NRG Gravesend & the CS of Harland keep charging me membership fee & panalty even I sent the official email for membership cancellation request in pervious month ! So annoying, be considerate if you plans to join them!

Positive experience: Really like this gym. Love how you are free to cancel anytime. Love how you can cancel and join again to get discounts that are on offer. Good prices, no more than £25 a month. Clean toilets, shower rooms and gym areas. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable when ever you need help on a machine. I love the sauna! Machines are good and equipment is good. Plus you get a free drink bottle when you post a review. I would recommend if your local to Gravesend

Positive experience: To be honest it is a good place but to busy when I get there all machines are busy and waiting time is to long unless you try to jump in but do like the sauna there but been to a few gym and as I said to busy

Negative experience: The one In lewisham is way better this one is the original NRG but they haven’t done much to improve it such as a lot of the machines are old and rusty or out of use The hip abduction machines aren’t powerful it doesn’t have any resistance to it at all, it feels worn out and needs renewing The leg curl machine and leg extension machine also needs an upgrade The assisted pull up machine is broken (may possibly be fixed now) I think they should upgrade some of the machines as some of them feel very worn out or rusty or they just don’t work This is not me being negative just some positive feedback as I have been to the Lewisham one and the equipments aren’t out of service or worn out and they are all in good use as well as it being organised much better. I do understand the Lewisham one is a brand new gym but i do feel they need to renew the equipments in the original Gravesend one as £25 for a lot of the equipment to feel worn out or broken But I think they should really look at replacing some of the equipment that have been there for a while that have little to no resistance to them. I don’t think it’s worth the price with the amount of equipment that is not of good quality.

Negative experience: The worst gym ever been in my life Very rude manger Racist manger I give 1 star because there is no zero star 26-04-2024 To whom it may concern, My name is Mr Zakarya Riche and I am an atendee at the NRG gym Gravesend. I am writing this letter in complaint to a member of staff, the gym manager (Mr John Cooper), who has been acting very unprofessionally. For a while nowI have noticed Mr Cooper becoming angry as soon as he sees me entering the gym and always giveng me horrible looks and cutting his eyes at me for no reason whatsoever. The other day I was at the gym doing my normal routine. I went to use the weights and as i finished, Mr Cooper approached me in a very rude manner and started shouting at me, in front of other customers, to put the weights back where they belong. I calmly explained to him that i found them there already so i left them where i found them. He carried on shouting and telling me i have to put them away as i was the last person who used them. I told him he should have told the person who took them out to put them back them when he had finished with them. In response to his very rude manner and shouting at me infront of the other customers and total disrespect, i refused to put them back. I went to enter the gym this morning and found that Mr Cooper had blocked me and would not let me in. I have paid my gym membership and am furious at this unacceptable beviour. I have cancelled my gym membership and would like to request a refund as i feel victimised and no longer feel safe or comfortable to attend this gym. It is such a shame as i was very happy here and that 1 very unprofessional member of staff can discredit this gym's reputation. Fantastic experience: I thing I was one of the first member in NRG Gym in Gravesend. All staff are helpful and very polite to everyone. Mostly Thatiana and Kye. This place suits me and I wouldn't change for other Gym. Its got everything; spacious, in centre of the town, 3 hours free parking just hundred yards from the Gym, when other gyms have only 2 hours free parking. Most of the members also are very respectful to each other, which is important thing as well. Thatiana's and Kye's smile brings always energy and warm welcome to everyone.

Negative experience: I’ve never been to a gym where the changing rooms have no heating…this is the third winter the women’s changing room feels just like outside…last week the temperature was minus degrees on many days!!! This is not good …NRG it’s about time you spent membership money to serve your members, please!

Positive experience: Great gym convenient and easy for me to get to, 10 minute walk. Equipment is top notch and staff are very engaged. One criticism is when trying to get on with a workout machines can be ‘hogged’ by those on their phones, and not working out. If you want to use your phone rather than use the equipment please step aside and let others continue their workout!

Positive experience: Great staff, good facilities and a really decent price. Easy to register and they have a good Christmas offer at the moment. Equipment is in decent order. Haven't checked out the classes. Update: having done a good few sessions here I'm updating the rating to a 4/5, simply because it's so packed. Often difficult to find space to work out.

Fantastic experience: Really good gym well worth the £20 you pay per month everyone makes me feel welcome there all staff very friendly! I go most evenings it is busy but you always get to use the machines you want and members are respectful of others Ps John if you’re seeing this heres a few things i’d love to see - new smith machine in the women's only room as the current one is quite stiff - more selections of drinks in the machines like the nocco ones, different c4 flavours or grenade energy drinks - more stair steppers as most of them are taken when i’m there - i’d love another weight stand for all the 10kg/15kg/20kg/25kg sometimes the weights are scattered around when its busy maybe a section for each weight too

Fantastic experience: An amazing well run gym, I always have a fantastic pump and I am always left satisfied, attending NRG gym is always a highlight of my day without a doubt. I wouldn’t mind paying extra for my monthly membership if all techno gym machines and hammer strength machines were replaced with nautilus or cybex machines. Other than that it’s a brilliant gym and couldn’t recommend it more.

Positive experience: For the price we are paying its okayish only if you want to go to the gym in evenings you must consider not all machines are available and if they are most likely they are broken or not working properly would be good if they would be removed to give more space or replaced . Also would be good to have some air freshener in there as sometimes the smell is bad. Positive thing: its cheap ….
