Fantastic experience: Since taking over in June 2024, the new owners, Steve & Lisa are making lots of improvements. All the staff are super-helpful and the whole gym has a nice friendly and encouraging atmosphere. Not too busy either, unlike other local gyms!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this gym, never have to queue for any equipment and everyone is very friendly. If I had to point out one downside it would be the weekend opening hours but apart from that 10/10

Fantastic experience: Best gym I've been to in years! Some equipment could do with an upgrade but the best thing about this place is that it's not a large chain where all the students go. It's a nice neighbourhood gym and has everything you need for a good workout. Very quiet in the mornings and around lunchtime. Everyone is respectful and you can just go do your thing and not worry about people looking at you. I've never had to queue for equipment. Most of the time when one machine is taken another one is free so I can just switch the order of my routine. Staff super nice and helpful and they just let you do your thing. Unfortunately I had to move away so now my only option is one of the big chain gyms and the vibe is completely different. So if you live in this area just go for it.

Fantastic experience: I am a very nervous gym attendee, and having joined other gyms and found them fairly intimidating and overwhelming however, Joining On 1 fitness is one of the best decisions I have made. Staff are all extremely professional and friendly - I feel like they genuinely care, and are always so encouraging. Being someone who suffers lots with anxiety, joining on 1 fitness has helped me so much with my anxiety and giving me sense of purpose and I actually look forward to attending, which isn't something I ever felt I would say about a gym. The gym is well laid out, with a wide variety of equipment. On 1 fitness also have a large studio space, which is a brilliant space for classes, as well using independently when classes are not on. If you ever are in doubt about joining a gym..... join on 1 fitness, I couldn't recommend it enough, and you wont regret it.

Fantastic experience: Nice gym. Welcoming, quiet, clean and well kept. Well equipped for cardio and fixed weights but also the more functional fitness enthusiasts with the free frame and barbell lovers with ample weights.

Fantastic experience: A great gym. Professional, friendly and helpful staff. They encourage their customers to better themselves through tailored programmes. The atmosphere is welcoming and one need not fear being judged. All ages, shapes and sizes are made to feel at home. A good variety of equipment is available for all fitness goals. This gym is kept clean with well equipped changing rooms. For the price, you couldn't expect any better than Ocean Fitness.

Fantastic experience: Welcoming gym. As being over wait I felt uncomfortable and feeling out of place joining a gym. The staff here are polite and helpful. I'm glad I've joined. Now time for me to stick at the plan they set out for me and get in shape. Should have done this earlier
