Fantastic experience: Frazer was excellent in my tour and really knew the whole shabang about everything. I left with no questions and he really made time for me with no sense of rushing me on my way. proven by me finding out he had actually finished a significant amount of time before seeing me on my way. Companies hope for this type of employee but they're rare. The tour covered everything and more but certainly wasn't scripted. I was asked questions along the way and was listened to as the following part of the tour was then adapted to highlight my interests, needs and wants first. It also was nice to get the feeling that he wanted to be there and wanted me to be there too. I wouldn't be surprised if he made everyone feel like this due to how I felt he was 100% genuine. Very happy I joined.

Fantastic experience: I came here on Sunday and met with Harry who showed me and the children round the club, I was very nervous as I have 4 children so I really wanted to be able to get back to fitness but have the children catered for too! Harry took his time with us and made sure the children's questions were answered and he really went above and beyond for us. He made me feel at ease and was fantastic with the children! So much so I joined that day!! The club is so friendly, the staff are absolutely fantastic and it feels safe to be in. My children are so excited to be able to do this as a family & they are loving swimming lessons, for me it was so nice to drop my big ones off at swimming lessons and have the staff encourage me to go enjoy myself within the club! Thank you for making us all feel so welcome & thank you for helping me enjoy life and making life possible with 4 children!!

Not only was he very knowledgeable but had a great aura to him. Krisztina and the kids club team always provide a caring and fun environment in the crèche and kids club - my 2 and 6 years olds absolutely love going to the regular sessions as well as the holiday clubs. And the extra entertainment put on by the team at today’s festival was so much fun. Susie Enchantica’s family yoga was also amazing - the only thing that can calm my boys down as they’re full of energy! Thank you for a wonderful day

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant! I am already a member of David Lloyd and I brought my parents along to see what they thought. They met Hash, who went out of his way to make them feel so welcome. He was funny, personable, charming and professional. I am absolutely thrilled to say, that after an hour with Hash my parents joined today and have finally begun their well-being journey. Fantastic experience: I go to the pool several times a week and it’s always a relaxing experience. The sauna, steam room and jacuzzi give a great spa experience and the staff are always so friendly and helpful.

Fantastic experience: David (Teeside sales) was super friendly and very helpful today when i came to talk about my membership in the Harrogate branch. The staff at the gym feel incredibly welcoming, smiley and warming towards me, its makes for a very comfortable, relaxed atmosphere, one you definitely need after a hard days work

Negative experience: Gym is limited and small filled with tired equipment with around half of the machines having tape to repair the seats. Lost the stretch area and made the existing gym more congested to make way for Egym which I would question how many people actually use. Club advertises sponsored members to existing customers through their instagram page, which is a kick in the teeth to paying members. These Sponsored members and “micro” influencers make the environment worse constantly filming and take up paid places in classes. The team members and staff are nice, always welcoming and helpful. I really enjoy the classes with Lydia but I struggle to get into them as they fill up quickly, even more so now people have been given free Platinum memberships to advertise the club. Padel courts are a great addition but constantly out of action due to contractor issues. Even when fixed I’m sure someone who gets sponsored by DL with free membership will always be on it. Overall a good club but some underlying problems which should be addressed sooner rather than later. Plenty of parking

Positive experience: Great classes with Lydia and Tabby, they make the membership prices worth it compared to paying for individual classes elsewhere! They were really welcoming as a newcomer to both Pilates and yoga, and they make the classes challenging and fun. Without their classes I don’t think the membership would be worth it for me. Really appreciate how proactive Martin is when it comes to responding to feedback and resolving issues, a lot of other members of staff have a much less professional attitude in this area and don’t make your opinion feel valued.

Fantastic experience: What I love the most about this club is the staff. Lydia my Pilates instructor is amazing, my strength and flexibility has improved. Each lesson is different, working different areas, just pushing you each time just a little bit further, but you need to be quick to book in, her classes are extremely popular. Cyclone is another great class, Jack and Steve are always entertaining. Also want to mention Martin, who has been supportive and accommodating when I needed it. Thank you for the help. It is just a gym but the staff make such a difference.

Having turned up without an appointment, Haash provided all the details I needed and presented all memberships options , carefully explaining which he thought was best for me in my circumstances. Very positive Experiance, glad to be back at the club!

Positive experience: Been a member of the David Lloyd club Harrogate for 25 years and still love going. Many of the staff have long service, they are friendly and help to make the experience a good one.

Positive experience: Been a member since the summer of 2023. The gym and pool experience have been top notch and the staff have always been helpful with my queries. The only let down has been the fact that the app and website wouldn't work while I am away. They either bounce me out of the page or deny my access; it may have been something to do with the firewall and geographical location, but what's the point of paying the monthly suspension fees if my access is denied at all ‍

Fantastic experience: Since joining a month ago, everyone has been incredibly friendly and helpful. The club is always clean and peaceful, which makes it a great place to hang out after a workout. I was hesitant about going to the gym after work because of previous bad experiences, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that I didn't have to fight for equipment and could even chat with the friendly personal trainers and other members while working out. I would definitely recommend this club to others.

Fantastic experience: I signed up to David Lloyd Harrogate on a full family membership for myself, my Husband and my Son last week. Having been members of many other gyms in Harrogate, it's clear David Lloyd is a completely different elevated family friendly club. The facilities are exceptional, lots of different classes to chose from and a lovely pool. The team member that showed us around was very knowledgeable, explaining how the club operates and how we can make the most from our membership. I'm delighted to finally find a health club that's so family friendly - My 2 year old son will be attending the creche when we visit, meaning we can finally enjoy guilt free exercise without roping in the grandparents to help! We are really looking forward to tennis date nights in the summer.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member here for 5 months and love the range of classes offered. All of Lydia's classes are great, she's an excellent instructor. Barney's Sunday morning cardio class is great too. The gym is well equipped and staff are very friendly.

Fantastic experience: When we visited with Chloe she was a little shy at first and didn't want to interact with the other children. Kira noticed this straight away and made her feel at ease which gave her a boost of confidence. Chloe had the biggest smile on her face. we cant thank Kira enough. after this day Chloe keeps asking when she's going back to play. Amazing staff truly a perfect place for kids

Fantastic experience: Such a warming atmosphere and honestly the best investment I have ever made. Super kid friendly, my kids love playing dodgeball with Phoebe and Hannah who always make it the most fun for kids! Went swimming yesterday and Phoebe the lifeguard was super helpful especially when I was navigating the sauna! Couldn’t recommend more for middle aged women to have some relaxation time away from the kids!!

Kristina always makes sure my kids learning new skills while they have lots of fun at The Kids sessions.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic Club! Our family of 4 get so much out of this Lifestyle Club, from swimming and fitness to relaxing in the cafe! The DL kids clubs are fantastic and allow myself and my husband to attend exercise classes, play a game of Padel or simply enjoy the spa facilities or a peacefull catch-up in the cafe. We get so much and more from the club and we don't know how we could live without it now! I'd like to personally thank Georgina Lawlor, Lydia Petch, Sue Longo and Ella Taylor, I really enjoy your fitness classes and am really feeling the benefits! Matthew Fenn and Michelle Farnhill are fantastic swimming coaches for our children too!
