UltraFlex - Gym in Rotherham

Negative experience: If you aren’t an IFBB PRO or completely ripped, or paying extortionate personal training prices, you are treated like a piece of rubbish. Excellent equipment, but let down by staff who are rude and arrogant, and by stinky smelly changing rooms, and a lack of female toilets. 10 months into my contract I am paying it off in advance to get rid of this toxic gym! Not a pleasant place to be unless you are part of the gym clique!

Fantastic experience: Got a day pass with my friend Robbo today to visit for the first time and I have to say it’s the best and biggest gym I’ve ever been to! Good vibe, friendly staff and absolutely brilliant range of equipment to use. We stayed about an hour and made our way around a small amount of kit but would love to come again. Bit of a mission from Huddersfield but will definitely make the effort to travel again. Gutted we didn’t get to meet Kuba and Megan as I’m an avid follower of them both, maybe next time! Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: Great place to train

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to ultraflex in hull for about 4 months now. I had some training in Sheffield for a few days and decided to get a week pass at ultraflex Rotherham. It is worth every penny. Although it is a bit more expensive than the hull price it is absolutely justified due to the vast amount of equipment.

Positive experience: Solid gym, TONS of equipment. A little crammed.

Fantastic experience: First visit today to see my coach in person and train. What a space. You wont truly 'get it' unless you go there in person. Worth the journey. Such a friendly space, no staring and moody people! Everyone getting after it and the KIT! Well, enough said. Will be back VERY soon! Amazing space and cant wait to come back! PS - Posing room is just godly for its lighting!!!

Negative experience: I asked for a tour 3 x times at this gym. The machinery was new to me. I was never provided with the information, just pointed at the machines and said follow the instructions on the side we don’t have time there’s only 1 x person working. I even asked for an appointment at a different time. I got looked at like i’m stupid. This happened every time i asked. ——— Customer service lacked especially for the amount that I paid. I paid for the full year in advance due to it being one of the “higher end gyms” I was naive and excited to join. I expected at least a professional standard. I was wrong. There were no free day passes to try before you buy either. So I bit the bullet and went for it. After my 3rd visit and asking for assistance , I decided never to return to this Gym again. Unless you’re a professional body builder or know someone who goes to this gym to show you around, I wouldn’t recommend it. Really disappointed (this was nearly exactly a year ago)

Fantastic experience: I’ve trained at this facility ever since it was opened and I can quite honestly it’s one of the best facilities I’ve ever trained at! I’ve watched that gym grow and develop over the years and it’s become incredible! What Kuba and Meg have done to Ultraflex Rotherham is amazing he’s created one of the best gyms in the country! The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating and not intimidating in the slightest! This place feels like my home and I’m proud to train out of there!

Fantastic experience: The best gym I have been to, great equipment selection and friendly staff. One suggestion for improvement - set up a schedule for recording content so regular members can work around it if they prefer.

Negative experience: When ringing Ultra flex today i was very upset about the outcome. I had spoke to my bank after the conversation with one of the Ultra flex members via phone call i was advised by the Ultraflex worker that i am unable to cancel nor am i able to give my membership to a family member that will ACTUALLY attend the gym so unprofessional So for this reason, i am writing to let you know that i have cancelled my payment method to yourself and i will not be attending or coming back to this gym and no longer pay for the facilities. I loved going when i was ACTUALLY ATTENDING THE GYM, but since i am going abroad i would have liked to have transferred my membership to another person in the family instead of wasting my money

Fantastic experience: This gym is for serious trainers only. You visit this gym if you want to build a good physique. Equipment is world class. There an equipment for every type of exercise. They take extreme care in looking after the equipment. It’s a light tight in the gym as everything is too close to each other but they have recently started extension of the gym so I am looking forward to the change. Staff is friendly. I have not not been inside the changing rooms so can’t comment. But overall gym is clean. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you’re serious about your training then this is the place to be.

Fantastic experience: Travelled up to try the gym for the first time this morn, managed to get a space in the car park so penalty ticket free, but what a great gym, vast amounts of equipment/machines, many I'd never seen or used before, no attitudes or stare downs from the regular locals training, the lad behind the counter friendly and pointed out which area was for what body part, where toilets are etc etc, definitely be having a drive up here again

The people that work there are great and the customers that come and use the facilities are some of the best upcoming stars. Ended us getting with a girl that was in the gym we used the posing room and got some spicy pics together. Looking forward to seeing her again and got plans to share workout plans and get out burn on. Best gym in Yorkshire hands down.

Negative experience: The best gym , and equipment by far negative reason for giving 2 cars serious lack of parking . It’s so bad that me and my friend both received parking fines that day . Not good Ultraflex . Then as I was leaving saw the sneaky traffic wardens waiting to pounce again .

Negative experience: Around three years when I first started here. It’s a gym with many professionals so you can get the vibe if you are serious about building muscle. There are a wide range of equipments probably more than the space capacity (see pictures) so you can pump to others and machines as well. It’s very expensive and has gone up more with that Coronavirus pandemics when most people struggle. Although there are very kind staffs there arrogant and unprofessional who take themselves higher that you are ! Its probably the time to reconsider ******* I initially had reviewed the place with two stars. As we are being asked by the management to take it down without solving the issues I’m giving it a zero star now.

Great range of equipment and big signs over the areas letting you know where equipment is (chest, back, legs ect). Members were also really friendly. Music is loud so probably don't bring your headphones. Can't wait to go back
