24hr Gym

Negative experience: wouldn’t advise going to this gym unless you want to be named and shamed in a facebook group for the smallest mistakes, the owners/workers are rude and unwelcoming and the behaviour they put on display is unacceptable from a business owner. they are very unhelpful and will ban you or kick you out for the smallest things!

One of only 2 hammer strength approved gyms in Swindon, and with the addition of Cybex, Nautilus, and Precor machines, it is a gym-nerd’s heaven. Only thing they’re missing are some adjustable resistance profile Prime machines

Positive experience: Great Gym - I have moved from West Swindon now and so no longer use it, might go back there when I retire from my work life and take up more of a Gym life. Vern, his Family Team maintain the gym to a high level. A fountain of knowledge. I was a member for a great number of years.

Fantastic experience: Vern Montgomery is one of the most experienced trainers in the business,he has a vast knowledge of nutrition and training. His gym has a the best selection of machines and free weights i have ever seen. This is by far the best gym i have ever visited. Good work Bob H and Vern

Fantastic experience: One of the best gyms I've trained at, good atmosphere, all of the members take care of the gym, put the weights back and respect the equipment. Great range of machines for whatever muscle group you're working and it wasn't too busy.

Fantastic experience: Large facility with a diverse range of cardiovascular and resistance equipment. Good gym ethos, respect and knowledgeable staff. Basic changing/shower facilities but no real waits for bench/racks etc. 24hr service is excellent for those struggling with conventional 5pm training times. On site supps available if required and a recent upgrade on some of the equipment. I have tried and tested Kiss Gyms, Fitness First, GLL, Next Gen all located in Swindon and 24hr Gym has a good atmosphere (some nights with live DJ playing). Only recommendation would be some astro or running strip with some tyre and rope work available. Prices: very reasonable and competitive against most, probably £5 or so a month more than Kiss or GLL however, you will not have to spend your workout time pushing through the mirror boys or trying to find the right weight that hasn't been put back in the right place. Give it a try for yourself anyway, they offer week free passes to test equipment, times and feel of the place for yourself.

Fantastic experience: 24hr gym is quite simply the best gym in the region bar none. The gym almost has too much equipment to choose from..... You will be like a child in a sweet shop trying to choose what machine to train on. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff who keep the gym very clean and tidy. Vern (the owner) belies his 60+ years of age and always takes on board members suggestions. To cut a long story short if you want to loose weight, build muscle, get fit or just tone up there is nowhere better.

Fantastic experience: This gym is by far the best ive been to and probably the best ill ever go to. I live in Bristol and im a member of Fitness First, but once a week me and my mate will travel to Swindon just to train at this gym. The staff and members are friendly and very trustworthy. I accidentally left my wallet in one of the lockers, and after hours and hours of searching my house, car, ect, I rang the gym three days later and it was still in the locker with everything in it! Thats how trustworthy the people are in this gym.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym, open all day, everyday, all year round. There isn't any ego's throwing their weight around the place and there's so much equipment there, I'm still yet to find something that they don't have. The boxing gym In there is perfect too, spacious and large variety of bags for different disciplines, equipment such as ropes, pads and body suits to use aswell as a ring. They have boxing classes a couple of days a week but I just use it on the other days, there's only usually 1 or maybe 2 people in there so its like your very own gym. I spend 6 days a week here. My second home. 5 stars.
