Fantastic experience: We love the gym academy. Everyone is so friendly. The coaches all work really hard to make sure the gymnasts enjoy the sessions and be the best they can be. It’s a fantastic club and I know my daughter just loves going to her classes. The older girls really look after the little ones and inspire them so much.

Fantastic experience: Amazing Academy. My daughter was loosing her love for gymnastics until we moved here 8 months ago. I've never seen her so happy and excited to go to every session. Highly recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: The Academy is incredible. Both of my daughters started at the age of 2 and now at 7 and 5, they are still loving their sessions. My eldest has become part of the novice squad and she gets so much from the training, making friends and working towards competitions. We have been hugely impressed with the progress they have both made and how strong, confident and competent they are. The coaches and staff are wonderful, they really do get the best out of the children. We feel very lucky to have The Academy in our home town.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been part of the Academy for the past 8 years. She has worked her way from pre-school through to Senior Novice. She absolutely loves her gymnastics. The coaches are friendly and caring. They show incredible expertise in their coaching and my daughter has flourished during her time there.

Fantastic experience: The Academy of Gymnastics is my daughter's second home. The coaches and staff are amazing. Scarlett has achieved huge amounts in the sport she loves, at the Academy and could not be happier. Additionally all her team mates are her closest friends, the support they give each other is commendable. The gym is spotless, and maticulously run.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic friendly family atmosphere. You can tell the focus is on the kids enjoying themselves. Great coaches, all very approachable and experienced. My daughter trains for 6 hours a week and loves getting their early to chat to her friends. Everyone supports each other including adults and children, whether competitive training or not. The cafe has a good variety of drinks and snacks and the camps through the holidays are reasonably priced and fun.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely lovely gym. The coaches and teams are so welcoming. My daughters confidence has grown and she has her spark back for gymnastics again! The gym itself is lovely and clean, the variety of equipment is amazing! A real family feel to it.

Fantastic experience: Both of our daughters attend the Academy at opposite ends of the scale, the youngest in Rec, and the eldest in Junior Squad. Both girls absolutely love Gymnastics, and a lot of that is down to the coaches who are brilliant. Our eldest has been through every class since the age of about 2 (she's now 10), from toddling tigers through to squad, and would go every day if she could!

Fantastic experience: The academy of gymnastics has been the place to transform my daughter, the staff and all coaches have every child’s interests at heart and work so hard to keep there reputation to the highest standard. The place is always clean, tidy and so friendly. A wonderful gymnastic academy.

Fantastic experience: Although it is my two Girls Willow and Fern that are the Gymnasts, I can wholeheartedly say that our experience as a family has been fantastic, you are not just members, you become intwined with the fabric of the Academy, everyone pulls together, no one gets left behind, if and when I’m asked…. it’s with immense pride I say we are members of the Academy of Gymnastics

Fantastic experience: Fabulous for all levels of gymnastics.. whether you want some recreational fun or to be part of a future commonwealth games! all the staff and coaches are super professional, super friendly and super fun! My daughter started toddler gym here aged 2, is now nearly 10 and competes for the club. She has gained friendships and skills for life

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been training at The Academy for 5 years. The coaches are highly trained and incredibly supportive. The gym is well equipped and maintained for all disciplines. Timetables are well organised and communication is excellant. The team managed the pandemic in an exemplary way moving to online zoom sessions immediately to keep the girls motivated and training from home. My daughter definitely feels inspired and proud that former Academy gymnasts have made it to the Olympics and won medals for their country! Would highly recommend The Academy for gymnasts of all levels.

Fantastic experience: My daughters both attend the gym academy and they benefit from the classes so much. My youngest daughter who is at pre school stage asks every day if it's gymnastics day!

Fantastic experience: We have experienced preschool, rec and squad classes and all have been carried out extremely professionally and our children have had loads of fun. Excellent facility and lovely staff, highly recommend

Negative experience: Unless you want your child to be left without a gymnastics class, don’t send your child here. After being a loyal customer and also receiving an email to say my child had a space in the next class from September, she has now been left without a space in the next level up and is number 11 on the waiting list. Kate, who has been communicating wasn't helpful at all and really didn’t care about the points or issues we had raised, or the fact my child is now left without a class. I do not recommend at all!

Fantastic experience: It was daughters first day on Saturday and we absolutely loved it. Lovely stuff and lovely place. You can watch your child do gymnastics from the cafe.

Fantastic experience: Ninjas rule!

Fantastic experience: This place is doing wonders for my daughters during the few times we've been this year. We mainly come to the Sunday Funday sessions, and Kate and Roland are always so lovely and welcoming. Roland has really helped both girls (twin 4 year olds) grow in confidence. They're doing a Leaping Lions class today and look like they are having a fabulous time. I'll definitely be booking the girls in for weekly groups from September when they start Reception. I just want to thank the Academy for all they do for our community, as it's a great place for children amd teenagers to come to.

Fantastic experience: Both my daughters have been to classes here. Currently taking my 3yo to preschool classes. Really well set up and safe re Covid. 3yo loves the sessions - the staff are great with kids and the session has good variety. Definitely would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Just had my daughter's 5th birthday party here. Very organised by staff, Roland was fab and the young girl. 1hour play in gym with couple of games. Then 30 mins with food which they provided. So no pressure for parents. Kids do get thirsty so I probably would of advised kids to take a water bottle whilst they're in the gym, as there was another party in canteen to be able to get a drink. Well organised and my daughter had a lovely party and has said she wants another party their next year! Highly recommend. Thankyou.

Fantastic experience: Amazing facilities brand new so it's immaculate. Staff are so helpful and wonderful trainers it has a great atmosphere around it. The great thing is the viewing area for parents to sit and see your child being developed by the outstanding team.

Positive experience: Lovely new facility though short on parking. Need to do watch step from gym down to the loo as bit of a trip hazard. Steps up to top part are steep for little ones and giant inflatable's position means toddlers can fall both sides so bit of a worry now compared to old place and quite tricky to negotiate, but great to have a cafe area and better viewing area.
