Positive experience: Typical gym, not a lot of stuff but quiet on the evening after 8pm so get to use everything anyway

Fantastic experience: Been going 8 months, PTs always been super friendly, happy to engage and knowledgeable, overall fantastic environment for newcomers. Decided to review as since new GM has arrived space is noticeably a lot tidier and people reminded to re-rack weights. Only drawback— space is great quality so obviously in demand, can get busy. Quiet times on Gmaps accurate.

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Pure Gym since the opening. I was a little dubious with it being out of my way to my usual gym. However I only have great things to say. I love the lay out, the machines are not crammed together and the classes are always great and full of energy. I can honestly say since January I have seen a physical change in my body. Im probably in the best condition that ive ever been in, and I would say this is down to the trainers, mainly Joe & Harriet. Harriet's classes are always motivating, and leave you feeling a self achievement. Shes always so happy and smiling too! Joe also runs great classes that push you further. I used to really enjoy his Saturday circuit classes, but as he no longer runs thes I now pay for a PT session with him. He pushes me out of my comfort zone which is somthing I really need and somthing I wont always get for a group class. The 1-1 sessions leave me feeling a self accomplishment. I would deffonatley recommend Joe as a PT.
Fantastic experience: So good to have this gym local and easily accessible. The team are all very friendly and welcoming and deliver great, challenging classes. The first time I have ever been fully committed to going to the gym as I would normally run outdoors. Equipment is always clean and available and the atmosphere is great!! Definitely recommend

Positive experience: Overall great place but temperature could be a little bit lower
Hi Paulina, thank you for taking the time to leave this review regarding the Air Con in the gym. We have recently made slight changes to this area, looking at improving energy efficiency. This is both to control our energy usage, but also with a look to reduce our carbon footprint. By law, we have a requirement to provide a certain amount of fresh air based on occupancy levels, and our ventilation system increases and decreases at different times throughout the day and night, making sure we meet these requirements and provide good air movement around the gyms. These levels are based on size of the gym, and occupancy levels, and are regularly monitored. With regards to the temperature in the gym, we use air conditioning units which heat the air when it drops below 17.5C, and cools the air when it goes higher than 21.5C, keeping the temperature within the gym at an acceptable level. This is regularly checked to ensure the units are operating as they should be across all of our gyms. On occasion, we can get faults on our ventilation and AC systems which is normal. When this happens, there is a process in place to ensure we arrange for our contractors to attend, investigate and resolve the faults and return the systems back to full working order within a timely manner. All member feedback is reviewed, and brought to the attention of our Facilities team, who regularly review any changes we make to our gym facilities and all feedback is taken into account when making any future changes. Fantastic experience: Small and busy gym but equipment always available. Treadmills have broke a few times and took a couple of weeks to fix. Not judgemental by any means, great atmosphere. Lots of different types of people go in there. It is very clean as it’s a brand new gym with new equipment so would recommend to make the most of that!

Our gyms are very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day and from day to day. To make the most of the space where possible, though, we are always looking to expand and improve our facilities. Members can use the members area via the PureGym app or website, to see how many people are in the gym. Staff undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have all equipment in full working order as soon as is safely possible. If you have any concerns about equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can. It's great to hear that you are enjoying your membership, and that we can help in your fitness goals! Fantastic experience: I’ve recently changed from Stafford PureGym to Cannock Orbital PureGym and I feel so much happier. The gym at Cannock is so much cleaner, I can get on equipment more easily and I feel the atmosphere is more relaxed and less judgemental. The classes are informative, challenging and fun. The staff, especially the managers, Dave and Harriet, are so approachable and make me feel at ease, which I appreciate so much as I get a lot of gym anxiety.

Positive experience: Only thing holding the gym back is the fact there are 0 cleaning stations. Sweaty gym members moving between equipment and nothing to wipe them down isn’t very hygienic …
