Negative experience: I joined this gym in 2022 but cancelled my membership shortly after because I moved away. I ended up paying £130 to debt collectors because I didn't realise I was tied into a contract. Since then in 2022, I have been bombarded with emails and texts about rejoining. I've opted out of these emails and texts multiple times yet still receive them!! Recently, I've even received a personal email from the gym owner stating they will wipe my debt (it was paid in 2022) if I rejoin. I've opted out of emails 5 times in 2023 but have since received 9 emails since January. Even if I moved back to the area, I wouldn't join this gym again due to feeling harassed by them!! The sales team need to chill out

Fantastic experience: Alex has created a truly welcoming, very well organised and truly functional gym. It has a great spirit about the place with everyone encouraging each other and being supportive. Alex knows everyone by name, so you’re not just a number here. They are also super keen about keeping members safe with the 24/7 functionality of the gym which is very reassuring. Chris is a delight to deal with too, very passionate about the gym and you can see why. Overall, would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My partner and I live in Australia and regularly visit a number of Anytime Fitness gyms around the UK when we are here. We have to say, having used Anytime Fitness Maghull on numerous occasions we are incredibly impressed with the equipment standards, the meticulous cleanliness and attention to detail. Even more, we find the the owner, Alex, and his staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful at all times, and would go as far to say that Anytime Fitness Maghull is the most professional and best Anytime Fitness gym we have visited, not just in the UK but also in Australia.

Fantastic experience: First off, this is the BEST gym I’ve ever been part of and the fundamental reason is the staff team, most notably Alex the owner who takes time to provide first class support to every member of the gym. The standards within the gym from cleanliness to the equipment are the best I’ve ever encountered in all the years I’ve had a gym membership and this again is down to Alex and his brilliant, friendly team! You are always assured of a warm welcome whenever you visit the gym, and I have endorsed the gym to several friends who have gone on to become members. There is an endless list of classes to cater for all levels and the management are very receptive to any ideas that the members have. 5 out of 5!

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to this gym for 10 months now, I can honestly say this is the best gym I have ever been too. - It is 24 hours which is very convenient. - It has any piece of equipment you could need whether it’s weights or cardio. - The staff are superb and very helpful with whatever a member needs. - The gym members are extremely friendly and welcoming to anybody. Couldn’t recommend this gym enough.

Negative experience: Staff is intolerant to honest reviews and the owner himself was talking down to me in a very aggressive way. I was one of the first 10 to sign up for this gym but regret doing so now after countless of times where any opinion was aired obviously some companies just cannot take it, I mean honesty, it is a serious problem. Staff turnover has been high in this place so something must be going on from managements perspective as well. After the last aggressive encounter I told myself "I do not have to take this treatment as a paying customer" so I made sure to not go there anymore and cancelled my reduced rate of monthly fees as well. Any other gym I am sure will treat me with a more professional manner and with human decency and respect... the kind of treatment you think customers should get? But it seems to be a problem in this area that a lot of companies do not bother with the nice customer treatment, maybe because the core is not really nice. This is one of them with a rotten inner core.

Fantastic experience: Great new facility and as a bit of a gym rat there is a lot here for all levels of fitness. Staff are friendly and the facility is impeccably clean. Best gym in the area by a long way - more than well recommended.

Fantastic experience: The gym has a brilliant atmosphere - from the moment of joining you are made to feel welcome from all of the staff and that continues every time you walk into the gym. The equipment is to a high standard and the gym is always kept very clean, overall best gym I have been a part of.
