Fantastic experience: Best helpers Lucas and Marcus, thanks!

Negative experience: I've been to quite a few "gym group" gyms and never had a bad word to say, quite the opposite. However, this gym is grimy and not well maintained. I have never seen a member of staff here, the weights are often left in a total mess and all over the place, kit laying all over the place in the free weights area and generally has a dark and dirty feel about it.the mens changing rooms are filthy and smelly awful. I wouldn't shower here if you paid me. Real shame as it lets the whole brand down

Fantastic experience: I attended the hybrid 45 class taken by Marcus Falcher today after a gym hiatus on my part. Found the class was an all rounder with a mix of cardio and weights. Marcus was an adept PT who kept me on my toes all class. I highly recommend his class and the gym which gas great facilities.

The gym itself is well-equipped, clean, and has a welcoming atmosphere, with friendly helpful staff. The trainers are knowledgeable, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping you achieve your goals. They take the time to understand your fitness level and tailor their advice to your specific needs. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced gym-goer, the management team do a fantastic job and it shows all around the gym. Best gym ever, highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I recently moved to Sunbury Gym from your Paddington Branch due to a job change and since joining I have found all the staff really welcoming and overall a great customer experience. The gym is always clean and very well maintained which is so important to me. Also I would like to give Lukas a personal shout out as has given me some training advice which has never happen before and makes me want to come back, ( really amazing USP ! )

Positive experience: The pictures of the Sunbury site are NOT ANY of the pictures on The Gyms webiste, Sunbury is smaller than this, bot as well lit, not as well laid put and bo where near as fun looking as the images online. Also never really spoken to a staff member so can't say whether they're helpful or not. The place is clean though so I'll stick to 3 stars. Stop misadvertising it and the rating may increase

Positive experience: Loads of equipment. Urine smell in showers. They should clean it more often. Some people sit on machines and watch YouTube, waste time and when asked they are not willing to leave the machine for next person.

Positive experience: Loads of equipment. Signing up only for a day pass was super easy (great for travellers like myself). You get a unique code that lets you in and out of the gym. I couldn’t find any sanitization stations to clean benches and gym equipment, however I only went once so may completely missed them. Friendly welcoming atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: This Gym in Sunbury is a lively and happy community environment. All the PT's that work there are professionally competent and yet deliver service with a very wide smile which makes you feel great at the end of a challenging working day. I have been working with Marcus on increasing my strength and mobility and he is very focused on moving me forwards, he makes me feel like I can make those improvements and he is extremely motivational. Having said that they are all great and you should join asap!

Positive experience: I’ve been a member of this gym for a few years now. The staff are always friendly and there’s the right equipment for all sorts of workouts. It gets super busy during peak periods but is quieter out of them. Would be better if the free weights area was bigger and there were more Olympic lifting racks but other than that, it’s a friendly, non-toxic gym environment where everyone’s welcome :)

Fantastic experience: I have been coming to Sunbury gym for a couple months now, I really enjoy the atmosphere of the gym, the members are quiet friendly, the gym is always organised. Marcus the PT is very helpful and always has a welcoming smile! I will be here more frequently!

Negative experience: I have been a member at this gym for a while and with each visit it gets progressively worse. During the evenings, the room temperature is so high and there is a terrible stench throughout the gym. I took these pictures one evening as I was on the treadmill and I can only compare it to being trapped inside a rotting Tupperware pot. It feels like there is no ventilation whatsoever and the whole place smells like armpits. They also lack basic gym equipment like a stairmaster or cable row. My suggestion would be that they remove one or two of the many treadmills or cross trainers that they currently have.

Positive experience: I noticed these in the gym the other day, how super cool. The gym is very clean and easy parking although you have to pay for more than 1 hour (it's only £1). I would really recommend using this gym

Fantastic experience: The gym floor area and changing rooms are clean and tidy. The gym is really well equipped. There are plenty of running/cycle/cross machines and lots of resistance machines and in some cases, two of each. The staff are very friendly and all other gym goers are respectful. The price is good too. What more can you ask for!

Fantastic experience: I visited the club for the first time last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed my spin class with Jeremy! A challenging session but a very encouraging coach! Clean and tidy facilities so I will definitely visit again.

The workers are extremely helpful - look for a Marcus on your next visit (a bubbly PT). All in all, choose this gym if you're starting your fitness journey.

Positive experience: Gym is ok. It is clean throughout. But it does have old wobbly benches in the freeweight section. And missing 40kg dumbells which is quite annoying. It gets very busy so sometimes there is a lot of waiting

The classes are great, equally challenging while being fun at the same time. The team are always accommodating and happy to assist and adapt where needs be. Massive shout out to Marcus, Phil, Jeremy! Fantastic experience: Fantastic location. Great staff. Phil was very helpful when my login code didn’t work one day. As part of my canoeing I need to work on the rowing erg and this gym has 4x concept 2 ergs which was a bonus. The only thing I’d say is although the gym is clean there are some people that just make a mess and walk away, so not the gyms fault, because people are just stupid, but maybe if the gym can put up more signs to remind people to just be *cough* better human beings and clean up after themselves and treat the gym equipment and amenities like your own *cough* ! If you want me to be specific - I saw a woman washing her shoes in the sink in the toilet the other day. she walked up the stairs went straight to the toilet to do that and then I saw her leave. She didn’t even use the gym in that occasion.
