Fantastic experience: I've been a member of Burn fitness since 2018, and I can honestly say it's become my second home. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, and that feeling has only grown stronger over the years. The staff here aren't just employees—they’re like family. They always greet you with a smile, and are genuinely invested in your fitness journey. Burn fitness is top-notch, with a wide variety of equipment that’s always clean and well-maintained. Whether I'm lifting weights, taking a class, or just doing some cardio, I always feel like I have everything I need to get a great workout in. The atmosphere is motivating, and I never feel out of place, no matter what my fitness level is. What sets this gym apart, though, is the community. The trainers and staff have created an environment where everyone feels included and supported. Over the years, I’ve met some amazing people here , and we all encourage each other to be our best. It’s rare to find a gym that feels this much like a close-knit community, and I’m so grateful to be part of it. If you're looking for more than just a place to work out—if you’re looking for a community, support, and a place that feels like home—this is the gym for you. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Literally nothing bad to say about this gym, staff were lovely, members were lovely and helpful and the equipment was always clean. Same with the locker rooms and toilets which were always spotless. Membership was easy for me as a student coming home for the summer to setup and exit when the time was right.

Fantastic experience: Visited whilst on holiday - it’s £10 for a day pass inc. showers & sauna. Really friendly staff and excellent equipment - varied and in excellent condition. Will definitely use next time on holiday.

Negative experience: Feel robbed having to pay for a membership that I cannot cancel which will cost me over £700 it was a honest mistake I’ve payed 4 months already but I’ve still been told I cannot cancel I have only been twice because I do not like this gym i have been using a better gym there for feel ROBBED that just because I don’t it I’m not allowed to cancel unbelievable in this day a age

Fantastic experience: Pretty much the best gym in the Grimsby and Cleethorpes area. The equipment speaks for itself with it being all Life Fitness and Hammer Strength. I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants to take their training seriously. The only downfall is that even ever since the gym was known as La Vive, the barbells have always been pretty sub par. Good quality barbells do not cost much and are a lifetime investment - and they’re better for the safety of the members more than anything! But regardless, still a 5 star gym.

Positive experience: Great yoga, but only popped in to look at the gym & speak with receptionist. They seem a friendly lot & not too many poseurs there!

Fantastic experience: Just bought a membership and it was a great pick. I haven't really gone to many gyms before, but I really like this one. Well equipped, easy instructions for beginners (even I knew what to do), staff is superb. They showed me around and helped me choose what to train and how to train it. Overall 5 star experience and can't wait to train again.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym. I've been using Burns this year as i moved to the area for work. The Gym is always really really clean. the staff are all helpful and friendly. There's everything you need equipment wise and it's all great stuff. If you're looking for a Gym in Cleethorpes/Grimsby, 100% recommend. ( And a starbucks below for a Coffee fix)

Fantastic experience: I'm giving 5 stars as the staff, location, equipment is very good... but please consider opening later on the weekends - 5.30 is too early to close! I know a few people who are put off joining because of this, and see more in the comments here.

Fantastic experience: I teach yoga at this venue, lovely yoga studio and great gym and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Negative experience: I really wanted to like this gym but there are some let downs. First, as soon as you enter the girls changing rooms there is an unpleasant smell that hits you straight away specifically near the toilets. It’s almost as if it is a permanent smell in this changing room needs sorting out ASAP . Secondly, a little disappointed there is no hack squat machine, this would be a great investment! It’s usually a staple in my split but couldn’t find an alternative in this gym which was a shame! Lastly, there are no glute boxes The regular boxes at this gym are either too high or too low to use for traditional barbell hipthrusts! Please invest in one, not all of us like the glute drive machine or like using a bench to hipthrust

Fantastic experience: It took me a while to find a gym I liked and was familiar with to my previous gym once I moved over to Cleethorpes, however, Burn Fitness was a perfect fit and environment for me. If like me, you’re not overly keen on leisure centre/commercial gyms that play the radio and you want something a little different or more ‘alternative’, Burn Fitness is the spot! All staff members are very friendly and welcoming, easy to approach to ask any questions, it provides self-cleaning sprays and paper towels, along with hand sanitiser stations and also staff frequently cleaning equipment. Highly recommend joining Burn Fitness if you’re considering it. Very clean, professional and vast variety of equipment to cater for everyone and any workout.

Fantastic experience: I'm not a fan of gyms, but this one I like. I've only ever liked ONE other. But this one is good :)

Fantastic experience: Burns has loads of different equipment available and is not too busy that you have to wait to use things often. They run a variety of exercise classes that are included in your membership. The place is kept really clean and there are good shower and changing facilities including free to use lockers. There is a small sauna too for after a tough workout.

Fantastic experience: It is a well-equipped, spaced out gym. It's cleanliness is second to none. The staff are friendly and supportive. Peak times can be busy, but outside those times there's a steady flow of gym users. The equipment is all new and well-maintained. There has never been a time where there has been any unserviceable kit. You are getting good value for money if you are a member here.
