Fantastic experience: Love these classes, Emma and Paul are great instructors, encourage you every step of the way, have met some lovely people all are very supportive, so pleased I took the plunge and decided to join!

Fantastic experience: Pole performers is AMAZING. I was coming back into pole fitness after almost a year away from the sport. I was really lacking confidence and I was so nervous to come to a class again and I was feeling super negative, like I’d be reset to the beginning again. But Emma welcomed me to her studio with open arms and helped me build my confidence again! Her and Paul are brilliant instructors and this week I finally got my first unassisted invert since stopping pole in early 2023. Getting back to pole has been amazing for my mental and physical health and I physically couldn’t have come back to it without the welcoming, positive and supportive environment and community that Emma has worked so hard to create around her studio.

Fantastic experience: Emma & Paul are brilliant instructors, each with their distinct style of teaching. All lessons are taught in a nuanced manner while giving ample space & time to learn at one’s own preferred pace. Everyone in class is absolutely non-judgemental and friendly. Even though the art of pole dance appears to be effortless, it’s still a very rigorous craft to learn but the techniques and tricks from Emma & Paul help you learn with enthusiasm and grace.

Fantastic experience: I'm so happy to have found this studio after moving from another area :) A lovely encouraging and fun environment that I feel very safe in because of Emma's teaching style (+Paul). Im impressed by how Emma can cater to everyone in her classes even when the ability level ranges from advanced to complete beginner. Love how each class feels a bit different!

Fantastic experience: I started at this studio in June 2022, attending classes with Emma and Paul. Both are great coaches that put a lot of emphasis on technique, they know each student by name, their skills level, and care a lot about everybody's safety. Classes are good value for money, and pole is an excellent way of exercising, can't recommend it enough!

Fantastic experience: The teachers are very professional and fun. I've toned up so much in 3 months and I'm absolutely loving my new strength. It helps me de-stress from work and it's my 'me time'. I don't know how I managed without it. My flexibility has come along so much, thanks to the excellent and knowledgeable teachers. It's safe, I feel supported and it's really helped me grow my style. Fantastic experience: Whilst living in Southampton for a few months, I attended classes at PPDS. Emma and Paul are fantastic teachers and create a lovely and welcoming space for you to grow as a pole performer - you will not find better teachers! I learnt so much from them both and cannot thank them enough for making my time at the school so amazing. Whenever I am back in the area, I always make sure I go back for a class!

Fantastic experience: All abilities and ages made to feel welcome. Always feel like I get plenty of time on the pole and Emma has a structured progression so everyone has something to work towards so everyone helps each other out. So much fun and easy to work around day and night shifts because there day and evening classes and you can pick and chose when you come.

All of the instructors are lovely and supportive and push you to try new things, I’ve seen so much progress and am able to do things I never thought I’d be able to do. Fantastic experience: I attended Emmas class on my 3 weeks off and i was not disappointed, i learnt more here in one session then i did in 4 where i was previously, Emma gives great support to begginers and advanced and she is very supportive and approachable, classes are never too busy which is amazing.. i wish i could be based here :)

Fantastic experience: Hi My daughter attends your class on Tuesdays (Esme) and I just thought I’d let you know that she’s absolutely loving it and is constantly doing it at home practicing not just that I’d like to thank your little girl because Esme said she’s so supportive and helpful and she absolutely loves her. Fantastic experience: I had to quickly learn basics and put together a simple Aerial Silks routine for a show and desperately needed a private tutor! Emma was SO helpful and responsive when I contacted Pole Performers and booked me in with Beike for private classes. Beike was a dream - creative with the routine and calm with me when learning. She demonstrates everything with such skill and ease it makes you want to learn and look like her too! I would highly recommend :) The B flexi class is great too! Xx

Fantastic experience: I have done the burlesque dance course (once a week for 6 weeks) and it has been such a confidence boost and I have made some lovely friends! I want to keep doing it as it is just so much fun and each week we did a different theme!

Fantastic experience: I took my daughter to the aerial class for the first time and she absolutely loved it and couldn't wait to go again. It was held in a lovely safe environment, Emma was professional and friendly and made the whole experience so much fun! I have also attended the adult pole fitness classes and can honestly say I discovered muscles I didn't know I had! A a full body work out, great for toning and CV. I would recommend both the children's aerial and the adult pole fitness classes, such a fun amazing way to keep fit, I can't wait to go again.

Fantastic experience: I joined Pole Performers about 4 months ago having previously been a member of a few ordinary gyms. I can definitely say that pole fitness is a superior way to get fit and increase your strength, and it is fun too! I struggled to even hold myself up on the pole in my first lesson, now I can climb up easily and even go upside-down. All the instructors here are really friendly and will help you with what you are working on. No two lessons are the same which is great for keeping it interesting! It is also a really flexible set-up, you can pay for a monthly membership (great value if you do lots of classes) on a month by month basis, book a pack of lessons or just pay as you go. There is no need to sign up to a direct debit or make a long-term commitment! If you buy a membership for the month there is no need to book your lessons well in advance, and if you can't make it due to illness/work etc. you won't get into trouble! This makes it easy to fit classes around your life if you are a busy person like me. This flexible approach does mean that occasionally there is a larger class, however this has always been a managed well and people moved around the studio to make use of all the poles. I think this has only happened a couple of times since I joined. I have always left here feeling great so it is highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to pole performers since I was 18 when the studio was first running from millbank! Emma’s enthusiasm for her job shines through and it’s evident she is passionate about pole dance! Emma is continuously encouraging and this is what I love about her classes! Fantastic experience: The atmosphere at the studio is always extremely friendly and welcoming. All the teachers, and the other students, are really supportive and encouraging. I have been going for 18 months now and still regularly learn new things. Emma is great at thinking up new moves and routines to keep us on our toes. I love the fact that the studio offers hoop, silks, flexibility and rings as well as pole sessions, I just wish I could go more!

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to pole performers for 3 years and I feel like my strength, flexibility and dance has come leaps and bounds! I always do private lessons when I've got a competition coming up which gives my routines the finishing touch. I buy membership every month so I can spend as much time as I can in the studio. Always a welcoming, encouraging and friendly atmosphere. Having 4 metre poles and a full wall mirror is ideal and can't wait for Emma to move into an even bigger studio soon!

Fantastic experience: Pole performers is the best school around. When my confidence was zero, Emma spent extra time to help me, out the kindness of her heart. You won't get another instructor like her anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to pole performers for 2 years now. I walked into the studio 2 years ago with the goal in my mind to enter a competition and qualify. Emma pushed me and guided me to reach my goal.... A year later and I had qualified for two competitions at advanced level! This was a massive achievement for me, and could not have done without Emma’s continual help and support. Lovely atmosphere in the studio, everyone supports each other! Highly recommend!

Positive experience: There are things I really love about this school: The instructors encourage you and you end up doing things you really didn't think you could, I always feel 100% safe You get a good work out plus warm up and cool down There is a syllabus with progressions so you are always working towards something. Paul and Beike are great instructors This is the only downside preventing me from giving Pole Performers full stars. Emma's classes are often late but ALWAYS end on time. This includes private lessons and you can end up having to share your tutor with other students, again, in a private lesson. Having one of the instructors frequently turning up 35 minutes late to a private lesson with no apology or explanation would be both frustrating and disrespectful. That it is the owner of the studio makes it even worse. Students have paid for this service only to not get a full lesson or for lessons to run late. On top of this, classes in the evenings are uncomfortably packed. - Former student of 10 months.

Fantastic experience: Soo much fun and support.. Emma is amazing and soo easygoing, this has become my new fitness and hobby that I love!

Fantastic experience: Emma is fantastic and I cannot recommend her dance school more. I first came to pole at the end of the summer in 2017. I got my beginners certificate in September and am working on my intermediate tricks. Not only does Emma spend time with you in group classes (what I normally do), she does private lessons. Currently I am learning a routine to my favourite music. Emma always makes sure I am comfortable and happy with what I am doing in class. She has a bubbly personality and her happiness is infectious. She is welcoming to all people and even makes arrangements so that people can attend class (e.g. children can sit at the back of the class while their parents enjoy pole). Emma uses my natural talents to build my confidence while challenging me with new tricks along the way. Emma is an inspirational woman/business owner and I will be staying with her and developing my skills for the foreseeable future. Thank you Emma for all your hard work xx

Plus, the high frequency of classes throughout the week means this dance school is great for anyone who is busy or wants to learn quickly. I have really enjoyed the last year at this dance school and would really recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I've been to a lot of different schools and this is one of the best - Emma really knows her stuff, and the studio is excellent with really high poles and enough space to spin. Since coming to this studio as an intermediate, I've moved up to advanced level, performed in my first ever competition and won first place, all thanks to the amazing instructors at pole performers.

Fantastic experience: 2022 Update! I started at Pole Performers in 2011 with no natural talent or ability. But I've stayed with Emma at her school and gradually improved. Such is Emma's fantastic teaching that she has taken me all the way to being a Pole Sport World Champion and World Record holder. That says it all really about how amazing Emma and Pole Performers are!
