Fantastic experience: One of the best, if not the best, gyms in Birmingham. My "10/10" gym is Trojan Fitness in Bristol. Ticked every box for me. This is a solid 9/10 compared to them. The range of equipment is excellent, use of space is very strategic, and the staff are 10/10 in their service. The gym even has parking! In the city centre?! It's going to go through some renovation soon, so it'll only get better from here. Honestly, an extra deadlift platform might be nice, but other than, what a beautiful gym!

Positive experience: Good gym with lots of equipment and at a decent price, however the gym can get a bit dirty at times especially the changing rooms but I guess that's why it's so cheap. Also sometimes found it off putting, when other people have full on photoshoots in the gym posing away in their pants.

Fantastic experience: The best gym in Birmingham Every time I go to do my workout I feel very safe and motivated by the people in there, because they train hard and are focused on what they do, plus it is a super nice community, whenever I need help they provide it to me without making a bad face, really happy to be in this gym

Negative experience: The owner of the gym looks down on certain people and he is not friendly at all I will no longer spend my money with people like this...when you start gym for the first time the owner should be welcoming but not here he looks at you like to say why are you here and does not greet you in anyway when it's me and everyone else supporting the business...plus the gym smells like sewage and it really smells bad plus the gym is overpriced....you can go to a better gym for cheaper and your getting sauna steam room and swimming and better equipment for cheaper than here...

Fantastic experience: The staff here are incredible, Big up to Stuart, Joseph and Chris for always looking out for the members, Lads are always offering advice, have a smile on their face and are really helpful. The boys go out of their way for the members and genuinely make it a pleasure to be around in this gym. If you you're new and need some help or good guidance ask for these boys and you'll get great service. As always big up Simon Fan too, holding it down with one of the best gyms in brum

Fantastic experience: Simon's the man! Before I learned that I was already stoked on the gym's setup. Great selection and distribution of equipment/weights across both floorrs. Bodybuilder style gym with friendly folks. Popped into the posing room and got a lesson on looking yolked from Derek. Full bar of supplements for purchase for before and after your lift. If you're in town even just visiting like I was it is definitely worth checking out.

Fantastic experience: Well equipped gym, especially for bodybuilding with a good variety of machines and large dumbbell rack. Very friendly staff and good selection of shakes, powders, protein bars and even merch so I got a new t-shirt. Will definetly stop by next time I'm in Birmingham

Fantastic experience: Great gym for strength training, everything you need for your session. Warm welcome at the gym from the team there and great variety of pre/post workout nutrition available. Just a day pass for me today, next time i’m in Brum i will make sure I pay a visit again.

Fantastic experience: Been a few times and this session was the best yet, me and my mate was training legs and 2 members of ultimate came over and pushed us to the max and more !! I forgot their names so would have liked to of thanked them on this but it really showed what the gym was about :) won’t be long till I’m back again

Negative experience: Some very unreasonable people in this gym, if you like decency and morality then this gym isn’t for you, and to top off it’s very dirty, just a place for personal trainers to collect a few quid

Positive experience: Very well equipped with professional experience personal trainers.. one less than 5star as atmosphere could be fresher ! But that’s just me.

Positive experience: My major concern is with the cleanliness of the women's toilet. The showers are unclean, lights have been out and not replaced. The sanitary box has not been restocked and hair has been left in the showers. It is a shame as the gym has a friendly and warm community for people who like weight lifting and the equipment is good.

Negative experience: I agree about this gym being one of the best gyms in Birmingham. What is disappointing is when your in between sets and there’s a full on photo shoot going on in the background which is very disturbing! Especially when the person who is taking the pictures for the photo shoot is smoking his VAPE and blowing the smoke all around the gym !! And then has the cheek to ask me to move out the way because I was ruining one of his shots. I think these photo shoots should be done whilst the gym is closed. I most certainly will not be renewing my membership

Negative experience: This review is about a certain member of staff and it should come as no surprise either as many complaints have been made against him. Saeed has been bad mouthing certain members in front of other members and his behaviour towards them has been hostile. I’ve also heard that he’s made several female members feel uncomfortable. He has no respect or professionalism and if this was my business, he would have been gone a long time ago. He’s doing more damage then good.

Fantastic experience: One of the friendliest and well equipped gyms I've ever used - don't be put off by some of the macho vibes; there's every kind of person in there and the staff couldn't be more welcoming. I'm only sad I can only be an occasional visitor!

Fantastic experience: Great gym & facilities, never have to wait around using equipment. Nice and quiet during weekday daytime hours.

Negative experience: Saeed who works here is rude and unprofessional. His attitude and behaviour really ruins the environment. I have seen him whistling at female members inappropriately on a number of occasions. He is not liked by a lot of the members and needs to be sacked.

Negative experience: The gym is a good price and it was good for short period. The equipment is really old and the environment is not friendly and safe. I never returned after being harassed few times by the personal trainer every time I was on a machine I would rather not point out the person. When you’re in the middle of a workout you have personal trainers boxing in front of you with their clients in front of the bikes it’s really unsettling. Don’t really advise if you want a private and a good experience at the gym.

Positive experience: The Gym is great and the staff is nice, but the female changing rooms are in very poor conditions... The showers are moldy and toilets and sinks are not very clean. And it's freezing in there. Please fix this! Apart from this, it is a great place.

Fantastic experience: Now being a member for over 3 years I can surely say that this is the only place to be. The best equipment (and always being upgraded) , friendly staff members who care. Having the owner and staff be a fan of bodybuilding and fitness means they care about the quality of equipment, high standards of service and always a family environment. UFB is the place to be in the midlands if looking for a hard-core gym with the modern amenities and a place for all to train!

Fantastic experience: Very decent gym, especially for a £7.50 day pass! Has everything you need, multiple squat racks, platforms, good amount of dumbbells, barbells and benches. Don’t be fooled when you first walk in, there’s a load more stuff upstairs (which I didn’t realise until after my workout ). Definitely a good enough gym for when you’re staying for a few days and very easy process, just pay for a day pass and go, no faffing around

Fantastic experience: If your looking for a gym to excite you then ultimate fitness is the place to train. Ultimate fitness is a registered hammer strength gym with alot of equipment. Not only plate loaders machine there but a wide range of cable & free weights too. A large variety of cardio equipment. A separate studio on the roof top for hire or to use as a private area. There is also a roof top section for outdoor workouts In the sun. The reception are has a large protein/health section with a wide variety of supplements, drinks & food. You will not be disappointed. The equipment is the best on the market, the owner Simon Fan has been in the Bodybuilding, fitness, industry many years and over the years had built a amazing gym. I recommend it . Fantastic experience: Really Good gym. Friendly Place. Excellent machines and free Weights. Made of 3 levels. Better machines than any I've seen in other gyms ie. Lots of hammer strength etc. Clearly a choice of a lot of serious people but is definstely not intimidating.

Fantastic experience: One of, if not the best gym in Birmingham. It’s like a playground with so much equipment on offer. If you can’t find the equipment you need for your goal, then it probably doesn’t exist. The guys that run the gym are super friendly and helpful, anytime you need help with a particular exercise or piece of equipment then they are more than happy to help out. And a great selection of PTs to choose from should you need specific guidance or training. And did I mention they have a rooftop where you can train?

Positive experience: Ein typisches Hardcore Gym. Alles runtergerockt und sehr viele unterschiedliche Geräte. Aber eben auch typisch, es ist dreckig und ungepflegt. Die Musik ist tierisch laut, so dass es unmöglich ist, sich zu unterhalten oder eigene Musik zu hören.
