Loving the various classes and the opportunity to have a snack, breakfast or lunch when time permits. Great place, really enjoy the kindness, the receptionists warm welcome. So happy, I made the leap and the investment is well worth it

Fantastic experience: 4.8 overall. By far the best gym in the area (and beyond!) The good: brand new main gym area with very good quality machines, friendly staff, overall nice, welcoming and clean environment. I really like the idea of the smaller separate gym room (Box) too. Good steam room. Plenty of parking spaces and easy to use app. Nice squash court and a very reasonable price for the overall quality. Great pilates classes with Martyn. Improvements needed: - the excercise matts, especially in small Box gym room & upstairs stretching area have seen better days and they are also made from a very absorbent, non hygienic material, which makes it almost pointless to desinfect with the spray bottles as it gets absorbed right in rather than cleaning the surface. Additionally the spraying bottles have also seen better days, some don't spray at all and/or leak and look quite bad (cheap flimsy plastic instead of proper refillable bottles) - while the main gym area is refurbished and nice, the small Box area is quite rundown, some equipment is very wobbly and the overall impression of the area is a bit used and old, which is a shame as I really like the room - the wellness area is quite old and has limited facilities (no red light therapy for example). It's still OK to use, just would be more relaxing to use if it was nicer - more focus on sustainability/ environmental friendliness needed. I'd expect to see recycled paper for example, good quality reusable desinficant bottles (as per above above), reusable tissue holders in the locker rooms etc - at least one ab crunch machine - currently 0 in the entire gym! Would be nice to improve: - there are mostly just yoga and "circuits-type" classes offered, some of the more "interesting" class types have only one slot per week - interior design overall could improve - even the refurbished area could use some extra decorations and/or plants, better colour coordination throughout etc - I personally don't understand why anyone wants to excercise in the outdoor area breathing in the motorway (just meters away) exhausts. The space could perhaps be put to a better use as an indoor room (with proper filtration to limit health hazards)

Fantastic experience: When Abby asked if I could leave a review for the club, I didn’t think twice. Not only are the facilities private, quiet, peaceful, But the team there are absolutely outstanding. Everybody is kind, polite and friendly, including the members. They have ongoing renovation works and reinvest back into the club, I would highly recommend their classes. The instructors are all supportive and passionate about fitness. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I've recently become a member of the Marlow club, and I must say, it's been an absolute delight. It has exceeded all of my expectations so far. What I particularly adore about it is... well, everything. The facility itself is outstanding; equipped with the newest technology in the gym and offering everything one could possibly need. The classes I've attended have been nothing short of fantastic, with instructors who are not only knowledgeable and professional but also incredibly welcoming. I especially appreciate the thoughtful touch of ensuring warmth during Pilates or yoga sessions with the gentle glow of warm lighting – it's a small detail that truly enhances the experience. The cafeteria serves delicious food and provides a wonderful setup for those needing a workspace. The receptionists are consistently warm, friendly, and exceedingly helpful. I want to give a special shoutout to Abby, who has been mentoring and supporting me since day one of my membership journey. She truly embodies the spirit of this exceptional gym.

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love this gym! The new update in facilities are top-notch, with a wide range of equipment that caters to all fitness levels. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, from Abby and Cory on the reception to Lewis, Dylan and Amy on the gym floor, everyone is always ready to assist. The cleanliness and hygiene standards are impeccable, creating a comfortable workout environment. Overall, a fantastic gym that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a positive and effective workout experience.

Positive experience: Everything I could ask for in a gym - great pool, good range of classes with skilled instructors, and a fab gym floor. It’s spotlessly clean and the gym staff are super friendly. Very happy with my choice of gym but the cost of membership is a little high, well really expensive actually.

Negative experience: As a woman I do not feel safe in here, I'd suggest finding another gym. I got harassed and bullied off equipment here, and left in tears, in spite of multiple attempts to deal with it with staff they did not check if I was OK or really do anything and clearly had no way to deal with it other than say 'sorry you feel that way'

Negative experience: My partner today got a letter from the club stating that due to hike in cost of living they are putting their annual prices up £7, this is on top of having to sign up to 12 months contracts. With people struggling to pay heating and food bills they decide to hike the price! we stuck by them after the lock downs and then they do this, Court Gardens, HW Leisure centre all offering much much lower memberships I suggest you check your auto newels and look around, I attend a Classe there that isn't connected to the club and my partner and her 3 friends have said they will not renew!!

Fantastic experience: We are so glad we joined the Marlow Club gym. Having been members at gyms such as David Lloyd in the past, the Marlow club stands out for its excellent staff and very friendly and sociable clientele. It makes a huge difference instead of a sterile atmosphere at other gyms. From the reception staff to the personal trainers and the cleaners, everyone welcomes you with a smile and a hello. Really enjoy our time there. My wife highly recommends the Zumba classes! One of many types of classes on offer. I very highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Joe’s HIIT class this morning was fabulous. It was challenging, varied and hard work. He stretched us really well at the beginning and end, and was so attentive to everyone in the class. He gave feedback in a supportive way, tweaked positions and movements that were suboptimal and was constantly aware of injuries and how to adjust exercises to avoid further aggravation. Joe is such an asset to the club.

Positive experience: UPDATED. Back and running like pre-covid and the club excelled throughout the pandemic to support its members. I light of few recent incident I feel worth updating the review as important reviews stay present. I still believe it could do with a touch up here-&-there. They say you get what you pay for – well, as I have said before The Marlow Club isn't cheap in any sense BUT you still get so much much more than you pay for!! Previous initial review: I had heard mixed reviews about The Marlow Club ranging from great to poor but decided to find out for myself and join. This is my honest and I hope helpful thoughts. and maybe help to remove some of the myths as well as give people considering joining a better insight. So here goes: PRO’S: - ABSOLUTLEY fabulous reception staff. No matter what time you arrive you are greeted with a smile and welcome rarely found anywhere today. - Facilities are simply incredible from Spa to gym to studios to onsite barbers! - Gym equipment is modem, although very cardio and cross fit orientated rather than weight training. - Outside gym area and private matted stretching area is cool - Range of classes are fantastic and well attended - Cafe area lovely place grab coffee and chill after a workout - Back to full capacity, great range of equipment - Brand New workout room - great changing rooms - Little touches like personal wipe down clothes everyone uses (hoping not just a Covid thing) - Facility run professionally and to very high standard by club management - CONS - Slamming of the weights to make sure everyone knows what you’ve lifted - ffs we get it you are strong!! But saw an elderly member nearly jump out her skin one morning. PTs seem to encourage it. - It is expensive but only if you don’t take advantage of full facilities I recommend trying it for yourself. Fantastic experience: I love express Pilates on a Thursday evening, it is my time of peace for the week- the length of the class is amazing, the instructorship and level are ideal. Unfortunately I travel for work so can’t always make it but I cannot recommend it enough!

Fantastic experience: I joined The Marlow Club in September last year after moving back to the area and the service has been top class. Even with two lockdowns in that time the communication and support was great and equipment was made available to loan and use at home whilst we couldn't get in the gym. All the staff are friendly and professional, keep the gym nice and clean ready for use, and are always happy to help with any questions. If you are looking for a Personal Trainer as well all the team are well qualified and knowledgeable to help with all levels of training and nutrition advice - thanks to James for all my progress! When it comes to the facilities and training, there is a good range of new and well-kept equipment - there are several squat racks, plenty of areas for free weights (inside and outside), cable machines and plenty of cardio equipment (treadmills, exercise bikes, etc.). And although I personally don't use them, I know the online and in-person classes the gym runs are very popular. If you live in Marlow or the local area and are looking for a new gym, I would recommend popping down to check it out!

Fantastic experience: Throughout Lockdown our Marlow Club has offered a wide range of support. For me, the Zoom classes have been the backbone of my efforts to keep fit, alongside regular walks. In particular, I attend Pilates classes of Ann and Tracy who have taken the trouble to plan different routines for every class. The facilities mean they can see and provide sympathetic corrective advice to participants, so the Zoom classes have been really effective and enjoyable. Those who join by 'Live Stream' see it all, but can't benefit from the personalised coaching. I really want to thank the Marlow Club for finding ways to maintain our togetherness and keep up morale.

They've gone out of their way to ensure activity has continued and many classes have been "Zoomed" The trainers have done their own fitness videos which have been a godsend. Well done all.

Fantastic experience: A highly qualitative institution with outstanding facilities and people. The Marlow Club leaves almost nothing to desire except the next available time in my busy schedule to go. A nice sauna and turkish bath, great shower and changing rooms but above all what makes the Marlow Club stand out is its people. What made the difference for me, recently is when one of the employees called me by my first name. Amongst the many members they always make you feel number one. It is high priced, this must be said, but you very much get every penny back. Parking is more than enough, opening ours are fine and ... well it's just a great gym and i've been going to gyms in 3 different cities for over 20 years (Milano, Florence and now Marlow).

I can safely say I would not have made it through the last year sane without their support! Each time we have come out of lockdown they have accommodated new rules and put in procedures to keep all their members safe. For a small business they are an exemplar of how you adapt in this changing world. Highly recommend and want to thank everyone at the club for all they have done and continue to do in support of my fitness and wellbeing!

The team are incredibly professional and have been in communication with all their members during the pandemic lockdown nightmare, keeping us informed and providing amazing online classes throughout - the quality and choice of classes surpasses most, if not all clubs in the area!!! The app is easy to use and they have been fab throughout the last 12 months keeping members updated and going above and beyond to keep a community spirit and to offer as much as possible when the club was closed. Fantastic experience: Seemed expensive at first compared with some others but if you are doing two/three classes a week and cost those out at a fiver a go it actually works out very well. i am lucky to be able to go at quieter times so never too busy - and equipment levels very comprehensive.

Fantastic experience: The Marlow Club is a very friendly private Gym with Pool. It has a wide range of fitness classes and it has very good covid-19 secure practices, and makes you feel it is a safe place to be. A place where all shapes and sizes are made to feel welcome, with the goal of improving everyones health, fitness and wellbeing.

They have provided the most brilliant connection and support, they have pivoted to online, they have re-invented their business, they have innovated their offering, they have invested in their equipment and infrastructure. There is a true sense of community. Their front-of-house team greet you like an old friend. They also have a great suite of classes, equipment and mix of spaces both inside and out. Their pool is also lovely. They cater for all ages, stages and aims. Their Pila Yoga studio is also such a tranquil treat. I really enjoy being a member.

Fantastic experience: I have belonged to a number of gyms over the years but the Marlow Club is so much more than a normal gym. Apart from the equipment and fantastic facilities, the gym has a great environment and the staff are friendly and professional. You really feel you are part of a club.

Fantastic experience: As someone who has been really poor at exercise for many years I was extremely nervous when I first joined The Marlow Club. But absolutely no need to be. The team are super friendly, no-one expects you to be an athlete and they work hard at helping you be a success to the level you want. Like any gym, especially with Covid, when you can do classes they book really quickly and can be tough to get on - but I fear that is true at pretty much every gym.

Fantastic experience: Was good before lockdown. Now they've made it better and are looking after their staff and members. The same cannot be said for some of the big name gyms in the area.

Negative experience: Unreasonable contract terms like one month notice, joining and rejoining fees. All to discourage you from leaving or breaking.Add not the cheapest membership and classes really hard to get in to, unless you are available one hour before. Mens showers smells of sewage most of the times. Not all negative. Staff is nice and friendly. Great bar area. Free parking. But this I get in my local pub.Gym is average.

Fantastic experience: The best Health and Fitness club not only in Marlow! I go to a gym wherever I find one when I’m on holidays, The Marlow Club is on top. There is even better now when the club was allowed to open their doors after long lockdown. Extremely professional and friendly staff. Top quality equipment. Inside and outside areas. Plenty of classes for everybody. Lovely pool with sauna (sauna is closed for now but hopefully will be allowed to open soon). Lounge. Ok, I’m going to TMC :)

As well as this, the other services the club offer are wide ranging and top notch - Chiropractor Kevin Wollett is amazing, as are Jamie and Jodie at the Marlow Beauty Lounge. Each member of staff is friendly, professional, warm and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Positive experience: Good gym with good instructors. Parking and booking system could be much better. Not cheap, but if you go at least twice a week it's worth the money.

Fantastic experience: Very nice gym and pool, no real issues other than the free weights section being slightly too small for me but I like a huge weights section so it should be great for most people. There is an outdoor area for workouts in the sun.

Fantastic experience: Whether the swimming area will continue after COOVID to only allow a maximum of 6 people in the pool at any one time I don't know, but the fact that it's only 6 is great and even better now that al children's classes and swimming times have ceased. I'm also very pleased to see a reduction in the membership umbers by 500, this certainly assists to prevent overcrowding.

Fantastic experience: Been a member for over 10 years now - great club, great members. They're always re-investing funds into developing and improving the club such as new changing rooms, new equipment and new areas. Staff are always extremely friendly and there's never any of that 'pretentiousness' you sometimes get in other clubs. :)
