Fantastic experience: Polefire and Siren Asylum have been part of my personal development journey for two years. I have become a lot stronger, I have lost weight, gained confidence, a new love for myself and a whole new team of family and friends. Everyone who works there is only there to make you the best that you can be, supportive and still pushing you. The gym area is large with a good mixture of weights for accessory exercises, cardio equipment and space for core work and HIIT if you fancy that, classes are varied and differing lengths and at times to suit you after work there are some classes during the day but if you're a "don't bother me" work out type then the day time is the best time for you to go and get your hench on with minimal classes and class sizes then, you'll be left alone to complete your workout in serenity or with heavy metal blaring, whatevs. There is free parking close to the entrance, and a bike rack, it's close the the 33 bus stop, the 50 bus stop and langworthy tram stop so you have no excuses. There's a large changing room, a kitchen, two toilets - one of which has two showers so you can be clean before you leave. There is also a large members lounge where you will find people binge watching things before and after classes and probably on nights when somethings going on, workshops, showcases, film nights to name but a few. The yoga room is spacious and cosy at the same time and let's in a lot of light if you're one of those sun worshipper types who wants to thank the morning, you can do it here at probably 7:30 am and with the free WiFi you can also tell the world about it. There are pole classes at a city centre venue on weekday afternoons and evenings - Joshua Brooks - times are subject to change due to events at the venue. The pole room has 13 foot high poles to climb on, 40s and 45mm poles so it's polers choice, classes range from complete beginners to those strange advanced circus type people on Instagram, no matter what level you're at, what age, size or ability you are they can teach you, spot you and love you into your own form of greatness. The hoop area has hoops of varying sizes so caters for all shapes and sizes there, there are also moons and hearts although their availability may be subject to conditions. The silks and trapeze area has lots of safety mats so you will not die. Aside from the fact they won't let you, you'll have some sort of foamy leathery stop gap before death, so it's OK. All in all, if you're a woman who already poles /gyms/hoops, you should try it, there are a LOT of membership options, single classes, day passes, monthly memberships, class passes and they regularly run offers so you can go more often for less! Who doesn't love a bargain? If you're a woman who doesn't already gym/pole/hoop/trapeze/burlesque/silks/do jiggly bum things you should also try it. The whole team will love you into whatever you want to be and you will love them back.

Fantastic experience: I've been going for over 2 years and all teachers/classes are great. Polefire is great for people at different levels and they offer a range of classes to cater for different styles of pole. Especially when you are new the atmosphere is very friendly so you feel right at home!

Fantastic experience: Quite literally one of my favourite places in the world. The best and most supportive teachers and amazing people! If you feel a bit nervous, body conscious, or just want to see what on earth people actually do at pole dancing classes this is the place to start! There's no judgement, there's darkness if you want it and mirrors if you want to watch yourself! I've been going for over six months now and I start to get antsy when I have a miss a session! Definitely recommend to any one in Manchester or beyond!

Fantastic experience: The most welcoming, friendly and fun studio in Manchester! The instructors are fantastic, supportive and work to your level in every class. The variety of classes on offer far outstrips any other studio in Manchester and they offer great value for money. Easily accessible, just 10 minutes from Piccadilly Gardens, if you are looking to start out or to drop by and practice insane tricks, Polefire is without a doubt the best place to go!

Fantastic experience: Best place to learn pole, aerial and burlesque! All the instructors are friendly, supportive and give you loads of encouragement, but will never push you to do anything you don't feel ready to do. Polefire is a close-knit, welcoming place where you can make great friends, get fit and learn new skills!

Fantastic experience: I started at Polefire 5 years ago, when I first moved to Manchester. In that time, Polefire has enhanced my life dramatically - boosting confidence, encouraging me to be more active and eat well, helping me meet lots of wonderful people and go on weird and wonderful trips with them! The team behind Polefire are dedicated, passionate, caring and professional. The classes are fantastic quality for money. Their timetable is most diverse and jam-packed timetable of any pole studio I have ever seen. There is honestly something for everyone. I could not recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: The friendliest pole school I've attended, I've been going here for over 4 years and it continues to go from strength to strength. The instructors go above and beyond to help all students achieve their own personal goals, even putting on specific workshops according to student feedback and requests. Excellent value for money and recommended for any skill level <3

Fantastic experience: My friend booked a hen party for me with Polefire and we had such a great time. We got to try all of the activities and the instructors made sure everyone was involved. Everyone had a good laugh and managed to challenge themselves too. Cannot recommend highly enough :)

Fantastic experience: Amazing. Told my boyfriends mother to see if there is one in Ireland similar she can go to. Everyone's friendly and the instructors are awesome. Everyone has such fun. And you only try what your comfortable with.
