Evolution Gym Ryde IOW

Positive experience: Anytime I have been in here I have always found it daunting walking in ( that's the same where ever I go) . Once U get up those stairs. U take a deep breathe and walk in. From the street if U have never been up you picture what it's like up there but I tell U what, what ever picture is in your head get rid of it. Anytime I have been. Always been a warm welcome by staff and guess what.... People don't care that U just walked in. No one is looking at you. No one is sniggering, laughing or bullying. They are there to improve their health and fitness. They aren't concentrating on you. They don't care. Why... Because there is a good team of staff who understands what it is each person needs and wants and they will show them which machines, what U need to do to reach Ur goals. So no one cares what Ur doing. U are there to better yourself. Same as them. U don't have to be social same as U don't have to not be U. Prices are very reasonable. Changing area is clean. Equipment is clean. Even the stairs up to the gym is clean. They could do with me doing some merch&sell with them to get more clientele. *No I am not member. Yes I have been in there.

Fantastic experience: Over a few years iv been on and off at gyms never really feeling right, Evolution however will have me to stay, it is hands down the most friendly gym, matt and rich will go through everything with you if your a little unsure or even if it's confidence, I started there about 6 weeks ago and have never felt so at ease in a gym, from seeing smiley faces to being put through your paces, workout programs done to your own personal goals and always someone on hand to guide you. Fantastic experience: Brilliant equipment paired with a team of approachable friendly staff make for an exceptional experience at this Gym! I recently joined this gym and have not been disappointed. The staff are always there to help and nothing is too much of an ask. Would recommend to anyone who has little knowledge training but is eager to start exercising!

Fantastic experience: Travelling and working out can be a struggle. Either big box clubs will give you no short term options OR the fees are insanely high eg. £20/day. Found Evolution Gym well in advance of our 5 day visit to Ryde and emailed with questions. Response was immediate and friendly. Both the daily pass and one week were more than reasonably priced and I was all set. This club is fantastic. Opposite a big box glam and glitz club and more a down to earth old school gym. Old school as in all the basics and necessities to get in some great workouts. A great mix of strength training and cardio equipment. Friendly helpful staff (thanks Rich) and equally friendly members. A club for all. Kudos Evolution Gym for keeping things real and providing the community with a top notch facility. Would be my club of choice if this were my home. Hope to return in the future and will not hesitate to return.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with a welcoming environment and staff that are eager to help. Rarely too busy so you're guaranteed to hit everything you want within a session. Been gyming here for well over a year and i couldn't complain, it brings a certain feel that these commercial gyms don't.

Negative experience: Disgusting behaviour conducted by the staff - even in this day and age, racism is still alive and kicking. Should be ashamed.
