Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this gym since it first opened back in 2015, then known as Rush Fitness. So I’m one of the OGs as they say. It is a great gym with great staff and I like the fact that cleanliness is very important to the staff. I love that the showers are always so clean. I’ve heard nightmares about the conditions of cubicles in other gyms so it’s great that the staff make sure that the cubicles as well as everywhere else in the gym are kept nice and tidy. In regards to the cost of membership, I was paying £15.99 from 2015 to 2022, it then increased to £17.99 from 2022 to 2024 and only just recently it went up again to £21.99. It’s still pretty decent if you think about the fact that you are investing in yourself and it’s only a few quid more than the typical Netflix membership! The gym is conveniently located in town so you can hit the shops before or after your workout. The wifi is so good and reliable. It’s very fast and instant. There are a lot more gyms in Aylesbury than before and I’ve stood by this gym so this just shows how good of a gym this is. I remember the current manager started off as an apprentice back in 2016 so he’s been here for ages and this longevity has allowed him to know the gym inside and out which in turn gives him the knowledge of what works and what doesn’t in the gym. The other staff members have come and gone as you may expect but he has stood by which shows how much dedication he has towards the establishment as well to the general community. Here are the things that I think would make the gym even better: Some of the treadmills make a horrible loud noise when running on them and/or when running while a bottle is on the cup holder. They shouldn’t be making this noise as the other treadmills are nice and quiet. If the machine next to me is free, I put my water bottle on the cup holder on that machine so I can run on my machine without hearing that annoying sound. It would be good for a staff member to run on each machine (and place a bottle on the cup holder) to pick out the ones that are making the horrible noise and to make a note so that the next time the engineer comes in, they can come and fix it. For one of the treadmills, when increasing the speed, it stops every few numbers, think it’s the second one from the left, it would be good if that was fixed so that the speed continuously goes up while holding on to the increase button without stopping. At the moment, if I’m on that machine, I have to let go of the increase speed button and then press it again for the speed to increase and I have to do this a few times which can be annoying. It’s fine when I decrease the speed, it’s only when I increase the speed that the problem arises. The chest fly machine is very popular amongst the gym goers. It would be good to maybe think about investing another one of them as there is definitely floor space for it! One or two of the cross trainers need looking at as when using them, they sway left and right and obviously it shouldn’t be doing this. Again, if a staff member could use all of the cross trainers and note down the ones that need fixing, that would be great! Freebies are sometimes given out but they are usually given out in the afternoons. Would be good to do something for early mornings so the early bird gym goers (cough cough me) don’t miss out! There have been a few occasions where a female cleaner would enter the men’s changing room without knocking first to see if we were decent. It’s not very appropriate if you think about the fact that we could be naked or just in our underwear. The same music gets played on repeat. Please regularly change the music so it doesn’t get tiresome. To reinstate tissues around the cardio area so people can wipe away their sweat! Thanks!

Was really impressed with one of the staff members Wahib as he must have noticed I wasn’t sure where everything was and how some of the machines worked so he came round and checked on me making sure I got the best workout possible.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym and I couldn’t recommend it enough. The gym itself keeps high levels of hygiene and maintenance. The service is great and the staff are friendly whom of which are on standby if you require support or just a little chat. When starting the gym you get shown how to use equipment and what machines do what. It is by far the most welcoming gym I’ve ever gone too, nobody makes you feel uncomfortable as we are all there to achieve our own goals.

Positive experience: Great gym, good selection of classes and always clean. It’s a great price and good location and I like the parking! The only improvement I would suggest would be that the plates in the free weights are could be tidied up more often as they are unorganised

Negative experience: After covid all of the cleaning sprays disappeared so no one ever cleans their equipment after use, and I never see any staff cleaning. Lockers have been broken/in terrible condition for ages, a few months ago signs appeared all around the gym saying they would be replacing the lockers. However a couple of weeks later, the signs disappeared and all members were emailed to say that the price of the membership was going up by £3 month. Despite the increase in cost, the lockers haven't been fixed in any way, equipment is still filthy and there's rarely staff on site. Plus side is that I've never had to wait for any equipment I've wanted to use.

Fantastic experience: Very well equipped gym with plenty of free weights/lifting platform and cardio machines. very convenient as is it is in the centre of town. Always Very clean. Staff are always Friendly and helpful. Great place to train
