PT Workspace Islington

Fantastic experience: I’m an online coach and hosted my first workshop here this Sunday. It was a 2 hour session with some of the girls I coach. What a lovely space! Hannah the Assistant studio manager was amazing and communicated with me to book and plan the day. The studio was spotless, so clean and such a nice private area. We weren’t disturbed by anyone and left on our own. This is now going to be my ‘go to’ space for workshop and group sessions!

Fantastic experience: I started PT sessions with Nathan six months ago to rehab and strengthen my knees after a running injury. Not only did Nathan help me achieve that, but also I get so much challenge out of our sessions that I'm enjoying getting stronger, generally. The gym itself is clean and well-equipped, and the vibe from the other trainers and clients is focused but friendly. I used to hate going to the testosterone-filled weight rooms at big gyms, but PT Workspace is both pro and welcoming. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I've been taking private training here with Nathan for about 2 years, and I'm really happy about it! Sessions are challenging, but tailored to my progress, the gym feels nice and well equipped, and it's not overly expensive too for PT. I highly recommend !

Fantastic experience: I can't speak highly enough of PT Workspace and Thiago's personal training in particular. I am very new to personal training and Thiago made sure he took the time to listen to my objectives and work with me from where i was at, building up key muscle groups through functional movements before starting to introduce weights. He is very knowledgeable and has a lot of passion for what he does. It has been one of the best investments i have made recently for my mind and body and i would highly recommend PT for anyone looking for high quality personal training in Islington in a well equipped space.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with a trainer who was secretly taking videos of my rear. I confronted him and saw multiple videos and made him delete them. I raised this issue with management and I am shocked to see the trainer is back there training others. A gym and PT studio should be a safe place to exercise and grow body confidence. Unfortunately the gym and PT industry is unregulated by any official governance structure and there are no ways to officially report harassment like. I’m writing this to warn other women.

Fantastic experience: Great gym with a variety of trainers and classes which you can buy in packages. I particularly enjoy the String ladies class on Tuesdays, but am very tempted to sign up for more. It is always super clean, and the space is very fresh with lots of natural light.

Fantastic experience: We were very happy with the service we received from PT Workspace. We hired the studio for half a day for a photoshoot and from the first moment we contacted the venue, we experienced excellent communication. All our questions were answered clearly and promptly. When we arrived, the studio was being cleaned so was spotless for us to use. It had everything we needed, it was also equipped very well for working out. It is spacious and very well lit. We received all important information prior to our hire that we needed to access the studio and what is expected of us too. We utterly enjoyed the experience and can highly recommend the company.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic little private Gym with a good roster ot PTs. It's a bit hard to find in the first place, so make sure to look out for the signs. The gym itself is only accessible with a PT, so it's never too crowded. But there are all facilities you need for a good session!

Fantastic experience: Just wanted to say how nice the people that work at PT WorkSpace are. I was waiting for a coach and really needed to use the toilet so I didn't actually use the gym but they were so nice and let me in. If you're looking for a gym where there's nice staff, this is the one!

Fantastic experience: A decent size space, well equipped with a very good selection of training equipment, including some seriously heavy dumbbells (professional standard). They also have courtesy items in the bathrooms (antiperspirant, ibuprofen, hand sanitizer etc.) which is a nice and generous touch!

Fantastic experience: I trained with Omar Rayan a personal train at PT Workspace. The studio is very clean, tidy and very well-equipped and the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend the studio and the trainers.

Negative experience: There seems to be a shortage of private studios in London and unfortunately this one is sub-standard. It is supposed to be a private studio (clients with trainers) but ofter the place is crowed with trainers socialising with other trainers between sessions. Loud conversation are a distraction in a small studio. Equipment is old, and mostly home-grade quality. No towel, not enough equipment and often over-growled. It is okay but could and should be so much better. Positives are lots of natural light.

Fantastic experience: A great private gym, people don't need a membership to train with their personal trainer. It's clean and tidy, it never gets over crowded even when it's busy. Well-equipped for all fitness and health levels. I'm a personal trainer specialised in strength training to lose unwanted body fat and body recomposition for healthy people and people with health conditions. This gym helped me and my clients to achieve their goals and maintain a fit body and healthy active lifestyle. The managing team is professional friendly and supportive. One of the best team I worked with since 2016 when I started as a full time freelance personal trainer. I highly recommend for clients and personal trainers.

Fantastic experience: Great PT studio.. Nathan K gave a very attentive session helping me reach my goals! Love this place. Even the toilets are immaculate and they provide important bits and pieces. Towels that you DONT have to pay a £1 are a nice touch. I like that fact i can use the classes without having to have a personal trainer to keep my fitness at a good level. The classes are great. I also love the fact they donate their income to a charity ( not all about the take )
