Fantastic experience: It would be really helpful if class descriptions could state that there will be crazy intense noise - I couldn't even call this music, it's so beyond stressful, makes our brains super frazzled, our bodies disconnected, unable to work out mindfully and this really risks flare up of injuries for some of us. It's counterproductive personally, although I know it suits some people, is there a way to make these classes more accessible with better sounds or just please please let us know it will be super intense "music" so we can avoid.. I think it is an important consideration. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Love coming to this studio! Particularly Ghada’s pilates class - she is incredibly knowledgeable and takes time to correct everyone. Would be great if they offered more pilates classes, and if more corrections were given in other sessions (PUREcore/SWEATcore)

Fantastic experience: I just did an aerial yoga workshop at Form Studio with Marc Cross. Amazing - pace was great, instructions clear, music perfect and his words at the end just right! The whole workshop flowed beautifully. Very highly recommended - can’t wait for the next one!

Fantastic experience: Pilates is a great workout. Much better workout and more difficult than reformer. Ghada is fantastic and patient and encouraging, she needs to open her own gym!

Positive experience: Lovely studio just off Portobello Road. I went for aerial yoga and yoga classes with various teachers. I got the introductory pass - 4 classes for £40, that can be used over a 14 day period. I was in London for the weekend so was perfect and great value! Otherwise it is a purchase of class passes which starts at £30 for a single and gets progressively cheaper the more you buy. I only got to see the yoga studio downstairs, they have a second floor for other exercise classes. The studio is intimate and a very nice & clean space. They provide a bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels. The instructors Giorgia & Fay (yoga) & Marc (aerial yoga) were great in their individual ways. It was nice to experience different instructors. I will definitely use this studio again when in London for a longer period of time as I think £30 for a single is a little steep for a hour class.

Fantastic experience: The best workout in London! For those visiting London it's a must-visit for being just off of Portobello Road, and for locals it should be a regular fitness destination, as they offer both classes and PT with qualified and encouraging instructors. They of course, cater around injuries and you won't leave FORM without feeling every inch of your body has been exercised!

Negative experience: Booked via ClassPass, the studio emailed me saying the instructor was sick hence asked to book me in for another class. After I replied on my preference, they never replied and took away my ClassPass credit. I have been to the studios a couple of times and find the culture is not very welcoming in general. For those who'd like to practice Pilates as a beginner please avoid.

Fantastic experience: Form is a great boutique studio, clean and welcoming. I truly enjoy the Hiit class with Shay. The classes are small (7 people) the exercises vary from one class to the other. Shay is really keen to help you improve and gives attention to everyone which isn't necessarily the case if you go to high street gyms. He corrects you when needed and is always supportive. You will have sore muscles by the end of the class, but this workout is very effective! Great experience

Fantastic experience: Form is simply the best fitness / body shaping gym in London. The trainers are inventive, supportive, and trained to a standard rarely seen in the industry. The classes are small and so there is genuine opportunity for personal attention, and the atmosphere is fun and inclusive. Personally I find working on a roller with weights more challenging, more effective, and less pretentious than reformer pilates (sorry reformer lovers), and the instructors, especially Nathan will often have us all laughing through our groans and gritted teeth.

Fantastic experience: Ive edited my review to add; I was in the 9:30am class with the woman who posted a 1-star review here about supposedly being bullied. Nathan (the instructor) was correcting her form and she responded very negatively to that, Nathan recovered quickly from the interaction and moved on- he did not bully her in front of the other students and he corrects everyone’s form, there wasn’t any discrimination or bullying. She claims it is not a core class, which may have been true for her because she did not want to do the exercises with the correct form. As someone who goes to the “pure core” classes every morning 5-6 days a week, I can confirm, it is absolutely core based and a full body workout. You have to use your core the entire class. The instructors are all very friendly & knowledgable and the exercises are unique in using big & little muscles whilst improving balance/ mind body connection. Nathan & Eva are epic instructors. I’ve taken a bajillion different classes of all kinds, in diff cities- and these guys are masters of core work- which I think is the most important fundamental foundation you need for any other workout to actually have good form and good results.

Tailored classes and the attention to detail has moved my fitness and boxing technique to a new level. Really helps the motivation and keeps me coming back for more.

Fantastic experience: I happened to stumble across FORM studios at a time when I was struggling to find a fitness regime I could stick to, since my first class I was hooked and have never looked back. Elissa and Jerry have created an amazing boutique experience that is perfect for those looking for an attentive, holistic and highly invigorating approach to fitness backed by a great deal of knowledge and experience to match. As a PT client, I have been worked hard, always encouraged when I needed it, learning plenty in the process, and have never left without feeling like it was totally worth it.

Fantastic experience: I have been having personal training sessions with Jerry for a couple of years and have improved immensely. He changes exercises according to what he sees you need so it is never boring. Even though it can be challenging sometimes it is always worth it!

Fantastic experience: I usually don't write Google reviews, but really, this place deserves it. If you want to improve your health, challenge yourself to the max without injury, and do so in a comfortable, supportive environment, then this is the place. Firstly, I would not consider myself a "sporty" person, but somehow I look like one now. My hubs and I have been going to Form for 2+ years, and in that time, my body, energy levels and immune system have improved dramatically. I recently had a health assessment (the last time was ~3 years ago, pre-Form), and the doctor told me I have the metabolism of an 18 year old (hint: I am definitely NOT 18 anymore). My body fat percentage also went down a craaaazy amount. I haven't really changed my diet (if anything, I eat more than I used to), so I am attributing all these results to Form. The trainers here are extremely detail oriented - if you go to class regularly, they track your progress over time and sneakily scale up your workout without you even realising it. Suddenly you find one day that you are stronger, leaner, and able to do more than you used to. The workouts are dynamic and constantly changing - the owners are experts and super professional, always keeping up to date with industry and health trends, and experimenting with the content of the classes. You will never get bored. It's clear they are passionate about what they do, and that energy comes through in the classes. Also, they are lovely people. I also love the small class size - it makes a massive difference because the trainers are able to correct you and tailor the workout to you better. I've recently been away, sampling all the top studios on ClassPass in New York City, and it's soooo hard to find one that is as challenging and VARIED as Form Studios in London. Also, a small class in NYC is like 12-15 people (vs. 6-8 at Form). 3 months without Form, and I can see I've deteriorated in my strength and fitness levels despite still working out 3-5 times a week. I need my Form! Seriously, just get a membership at Form now.

Fantastic experience: I've been doing Pure Motr at Form 2-3 times a week for just under 1 year now. Prior to that i was doing “conventional” pilates 4 times a week and Yoga once or twice a week. At the start I found the Pure classes very challenging. Even though it was tough, I always felt invigorated after a class feeling that my body endured an optimal stretch and workout, which inspired me to persist. After around 4 months i noticed changes in my figure and my fitness, 6 months later those changes were even more prominent and now it’s quite remarkable how toned and lifted my body is and my strength is also off the scale compared to when I first started! The classes are small and the teachers are all divine, tailoring their workouts to their fabulous personalities. Five stars is an understatement.

Fantastic experience: FORM is without a doubt, one of the best work-outs in London. After first taking their signature class, I was hooked. The workouts tone and sculpt in such an impactful way that I saw and felt the benefits after just one class! Highly recommend for their diversity of classes and intimate approach towards training.

Fantastic experience: FORM Studios has been my go-to fitness studio for over two years. The variety of workouts is great in such an intimate high-end boutique fitness studio, especially the signature classes taught by the owner, Elissa. Expect your body to be completely transformed after just a few sessions! I have sent many friends to the studio who can attest the same. Whether you live locally or are coming from afar, FORM Studios will always be worth the journey as it will ALWAYS guarantee you an excellent workout.
