Positive experience: I've been here near 3 years but not great rusty dusty old-school gym with not much equipment and machines. Equipment and machines not the best of quality so always be careful training here, Definitely no power ⚡gym. If you're experienced and know what your doing it will still do the job but that's why membership is cheap. Gym has spin classes n MMA classes and the odd boxercise class. Easy to park but front gate isn't great you can wait a while before you get buzzed in. Opening times Mon - Thurs 6am to 9pm Fri 6am to 8pm Sat & Sun 8am to 2pm. Gym also sells meals from Ruben's and shakes etc. Good community run gym great people at this gym very welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend this gym enough! Haven’t been to any gym that offers such a hospitable and homely environment quite like EXCEL! All trainers and staff are fantatsic and are always chatty, friendly and helpful! Facilities and equipment, especially all of the recently purchased equipment is brilliant also! Tommy is also fantastic with his level of hospitality, friendliness and knowledge!

Fantastic experience: Been to many gyms and always compare them to this gym. I always come back here. This has everything you need and separate room with bars and turf for tyres prowler and circuit/hiit training. The thing that sets Excel apart from any other gym is the staff and atmosphere. Everyone is friendly and trainers will greet you and be pleasent with you. Unlike some gyms when staff will walk with their chin in the air to avoid contact with you. Staff know their information and well Informed in all aspects of training. From warm Ups, nutrition and a good few have competed and WON several times. They sell supplements and have gym gear for sale also.
