Snap Fitness Northwich

Fantastic experience: I’ve never been to a gym before as never felt confident to go, however we were greeted by the lovely Jenny who was just so welcoming, we decided to sign up immediately! All staff were super friendly and the gym equipment is hygienic with a good range of gear ❤️

Positive experience: Our first trip to snap fitness this evening due to us looking to switch gyms Positives Extremely friendly and well presented staff Very clean, the gym area, mixed toilets and showers Layout was okay Equipment was in excellent condition Free pre work out (winner) Negatives Some Equipment was very close together meaning a lack of space which made my partner a little uncomfortable at times. It was mentioned about making more room in the near future Limited amount of lockers but unsure how busy the gyms gets. No seating area by lockers though, would be helpful. Minor Feedback Regarding the front door area, it's one in at a time (which I understand the logic) . Would suggest a smaller area to allow more than one through the front door and having a smaller access enteance to the gym? Mainly thinking of safety for people out in the dark (early or late ) on their own or even just in bad weather Maybe more vending machines with more choice Overall it was good first impression

Fantastic experience: Love the high ceiling in combo with the layout, a nice environment where you don't need to walk miles to get from items of equipment you want to hit but is also mot claustrophobic. Staff are very friendly and helpful to!

Fantastic experience: A great example of a well maintained and modern gym. I’ve been a member of the gym since May 2024 and continue to be impressed by how the gym is managed with forward thinking staff, who are available to help and assist. There’s a myriad of group classes that can be booked 6 days ahead via a mobile app. All of which cater for every level of experience and skill. The staff are welcoming, motivated and knowledgeable in their work. The facilities are well designed, the equipment is modern and continuously being updated. The atmosphere is very friendly and the staff are on hand to assist members if necessary. The building is accessible 24-7 with individual shower/ changing rooms that are cleaned daily. Located on the corner of Baron’s Quay with panoramic views of the river and the shopping area, it’s flooded with natural daylight. The difference between this gym and others is the atmosphere inside and that’s created by the staff and their ethos. In Snap Fitness, it’s perfect.

Positive experience: The kit in here is gorgeous! I was just visiting during a free trial month. Asked how much it would be for a day pass and was told £5. When I came back I was asked to pay £8…not sure what’s going on there.

Positive experience: Great gym, lots of equipment and friendly/supportive staff. My only complaint is the ever-changing class timetable, with classes frequently cancelled due to staff shortages.

Fantastic experience: As a newbie to this gym and previous experiences having left me feeling intimidated resulting in gym fear I can honestly say SNAP has given me the confidence to attend PT sessions and solo workouts with no fear in sight! … the staff are ever helpful and supportive all with a smile on their faces.. the choice of equipment is great and makes it all worth it! Open 24/7 what more could you want… especially for when you want a quieter workout … keep up the good work SNAP …

Staff are very caring and also very welcoming The gym has state of the art machines which are far more better than the others in Northwich. For what you pay a month is totally worth it for the atmosphere and the warm effort the staff greet you!

Fantastic experience: I have tried several gyms in the area and this one far exceeds some of the others I have tried. The 24 hour access is perfect for fitting around my busy schedule, the gym feels very safe even at night. The equipment is some of the best I have ever used and they have a wide range to suit all needs. The rest of the gym facilities are excellent (toilets, showers, cloud 9 hairdryers and straighteners). Every area is always very clean. Being able to play your own spin class on the tv screen in the spin room is also something I love as don’t need to fit the class timetable, it’s the same in the other studio, you can play your own exercise class on the big screen if there are no classes on at the time. The staff I have found to be excellent, really knowledgeable and helpful, between 8am and 8pm, there is always a member of staff around to help you with any advise you need on exercises or how to use the equipment. The positive environment the team have created has extended to the members and it is one of the friendliest gyms I have ever been too. I would recommend this gym to anyone who is thinking about joining.

Negative experience: Management seems more interested in flirting with young female members and spreading rumours about ex members of staff (who provided a significantly better experience) than doing their job. Facilities could be great (they were when the gym first opened), but the atmosphere is awful and I wouldn’t let my daughter join.

Fantastic experience: Recently switched from Puregym and have no regrets! The staff are super friendly & helpful. Everything you need equipment wise. Bright open space with great views. Private shower room too!! Not to forget the Theragun massagers!!!
