Fantastic experience: Started Apex gym in January after being at another for a good 12 Months or so and it’s changed my outlook on my fitness completely, I’m not the most confident at the gym as my PT instructor will tell you, but at Apex they don’t judge you, they are really friendly and everyone encourages each other to be the best versions of themselves, You can ask anyone for advice and they will always help you I would never have walked into a gym by myself 12 months ago but after being at Apex since January my confidence has risen Thankyou

Fantastic experience: Apex gym has totally changed my outlook on my fitness and health. The equipment is second to none and the help and knowledge from staff and members is amazing. I started Apex in January this year and I've never looked back. I'm not your typical gym goer. I aren't ripped or have a figure to die for I'm just an average 51 year old who has a love of the gym. I was extremely sceptical on my first visit as I didn't know what to expect but my fears were soon squashed on my first visit. I have a PT who is my inspiration and she is so so supportive of me. There are lots of PTs so you can fine one suitable for you. I feel comfortable to train on my own and there's always someone on hand to give you help or advise if you need it. I'd say if you're thinking about joining just do it you definitely won't be disappointed

Fantastic experience: Been training here a few months now and think it is even better than my first review. If the music stops for some reason, between tracks for example, all you can here is the clanging of weights and training partners encouraging each other. I have also had a friend use the personal trainers and they reported back that they are excellent. Fantastic gym. Used to go to Powerhouse but when it closed this place wasn't open, pity. Ended up in DW and when Everlast bought it they lowered the age which made a bad gym worse (although staff great). Looked for a new gym and after a free trial joined here. The place is somewhere you go to train. Brilliant equipment, excellent friendly staff and the members know what they are doing on the whole. And great mix of ages and abilities, not everyone a bodybuilder, some bettering themselves in other ways, cardio for example. Very little if any waiting for machines, always clean and well maintained. A real asset to the bodybuilding and fitness community of Stoke.

Fantastic experience: Literally the best gym environment around! All staff make you feel very welcome, best quality of equipment as well and it really shows how much Andy cares about the place!!!

Negative experience: The worst customer service ever

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym , the comments about the lack of fitness machines, it's a gym of limited space, there is only so much you can achieve in making it satisfying to everyone. First and formoast the bodybuilding side is of the best guality. And tbf I've never had a problem getting on the fitness aperatous. All the staff been very accommodating

Fantastic experience: I have been training at Apex since March 2022, it felt welcoming from the moment of first going, Rachael offered show me around if I needed it. The staff are great and you don’t just feel like a number to them and the other members of the gym really make you feel welcome you can always ask any of them for a spot. Andy the owner invests into his gym and placed a large order for a load of new equipment recently. I wouldn’t want to train anywhere else now.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym. I went for a free trial last month and joined up straight away. Staff are great, friendly and helpful. Always greet you on arrival and ask how you are etc. Changing rooms always clean. Doesn’t get too busy or crowded. Members all seem decent folk and I haven’t come across any idiots. Equipment is great. A good mix of old style and modern kit. Some real nice Gymleco, Granite and hammer strength plate-loaded kit. Plenty of free weights and cables, loads of plates. Can’t fault the place at all!

Fantastic experience: Apex feels like home when i walk in for my workout each day. The staff are very welcoming, every one of them speak and greet members all of the time. I particularly like the layout of the gym and it feels very open and with a great lighting. Lastly the music that apex play is great.

Fantastic experience: Such an amazing gym and I'm so glad I've started coming here. I've always been quite big and when I went larger gyms which are with big chains, I used to feel embarrassed and afraid to go since I knew nobody and I always felt scared to ask anyone for help. At apex it's just such a friendly gym, everyone can talk to eachother and have fun while working out. Everyone who comes and works here is amazing and I promise you won't regret it if you sign up for this gym ❤️

Positive experience: Visited last year went to look around was shown around the main half of the gym by Rachel but when I asked to see other part round corner she told me to go and look myself which was a little rude and snooty or she just couldn't be bothered. Went back next day for one day trial workout was shown how to use some of the equipment by Katie (personal trainer) who seemed approachable and friendly. Also had a chat with the owner Andy who seemed a decent personable guy. Pros - weights and resistance equipment up to date, decent and aplenty. Weights area was not crowded and fellow members seemed friendly and ok. Cons - Not enough cardio equipment was only 2 treadmills plus was other people waiting to use and jump on as soon as you had finished. Imagine trying to get on at busy times! Car park small and limited although there was street parking available. Changing rooms clean but rather small.

Positive experience: Well kitted out, great staff but sadly some rude members and quite difficult to get to.

Fantastic experience: Great experience staff are polite and welcoming, answered all of my questions even offering a 20% discount for my first month a member off staff then showed me around the gym and showed me how to use the equipment highly recommend to anyone who wants to get into weightlifting or is already experienced.

Fantastic experience: Visited on a day pass which was super easy to arrange - all of the staff were really friendly and helpful. The gym was spotless and staff were almost constantly cleaning the equipment which was nice to see Well laid out with plenty of equipment choice, trained legs which is my favourite and I wasn’t disappointed at all, even found some new machines I haven’t seen before. We travelled an hour to visit here and will be coming back again - but a no brainer if you’re local.

Fantastic experience: Made the journey from the West Midlands to the gym following all the hype!! Andy the owner, definitely made it easy for us to find and was accommodating not only over social media but also in person. Likewise, all the other staff were friendly and helpful and kept the gym extremely clean and tidy!! In relation to the gym, there is definitely a wide range of equipment and we managed to have a really good leg workout! We would definitely revisit and train something else! Lots of parking too!!! Definitely recommend especially if local :)

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to a few gyms in Stoke and Apex is by far the best. Its hard to find a gym where as a female you feel comfortable and Apex is the place I feel most comfortable. Really friendly atmosphere. The owner and personal trainers here make you feel really welcomed and are there to help.

Fantastic experience: Since I moved to stoke a few months ago I’ve found this is hands down the best gym in the area. It’s got all the kit you could want (especially for training legs!) and everyone there is super welcoming with a really nice vibe. It’s the only gym i would use here.

Fantastic experience: One of the best places to train in Stoke-On-Trent by far! Firstly, every member of staff is fantastic, very approachable, friendly and knowledgeable; this also applies to the members that train here. The front desk has a good assortment of protein bars, preworkouts, energy drinks, water and also frozen meals, along with high-quality, eye catching merchandise. The gym area is really well designed with custom artwork and caters to a vast range of training needs. The atmosphere is always fantastic and the music choice is spot on. Although this is not one of the largest gyms in the area, all of the equipment is well thought out; each machine is very high quality (with some unique pieces of kit that can't be found in other gyms) and always maintained to the highest standards. Weights are returned to where they belong and the gym floor is always immaculate, partly due to staff, and partly due to the members. There is a water fountain, showers and lockers available, along with a sunbed and a number of on-site sports therapists. All in all, this gym is the complete package, big props to the owner for doing such a great job!

Fantastic experience: Apex is a quality gym with quality equipment, great atmosphere from staff and other members, no bad energy whatsoever. All the staff are willing to help out with in any way they can whether it be advice on how to use a piece of equipment or a better way to reach a full range of motion, ora spot or even just general chit chat! There are multiple gyms closer to me than apex but I’d rather travel the 25 mins to train happy and comfortable than make the compromise.

Fantastic experience: This glorious house of gains is the best gym in Stoke on Trent and one of the best in the country. Friendly welcoming staff and they are always on hand to help with advice and spotting. The gym has a really good atmosphere and I would reccomend it to anyone. The equipment is top notch with new pieces added frequently.

He was brilliant, took an hr of his own time to find out what I wanted, what would suit me. The gym is new, the staff are great, I’ve already had 1 PT and second in 2 days. Fantastic experience: It’s amazing what Andy the owner has done with an old carpet warehouse in an unfashionable backwater of Stoke-On-Trent. Creating a great space for training, suitable for anyone, whether you’re just starting your fitness journey or a seasoned gym goer, male or female, you will feel comfortable here. There’s a great selection of equipment to use which is constantly being updated and all staff are friendly, approachable and clearly work-out themselves. Most if not all are personal trainers, so you can ask anyone at reception for advice if you need it. There are no disinterested, jobsworths working here. In fact that’s perhaps that’s one of the defining characteristics of Apex, that it feels like it’s cared for by the staff and there’s a passion for health, fitness and large scale street art in the place. Shout out to Katie, Rachael, Jamie, Mike and Zac, who are all doing a great job! I say give it a go, all you’ve got to lose is weight and possibly gain fitness, muscle and maybe even a new friend or two.

Fantastic experience: Had a PT at Apex Gym the other day & loved it. The gym was great! It was clean, spacious & an excellent atmosphere. My PT (Kate) was fab too. She made me feel at ease as soon as I walked in & is an actual fountain of knowledge!! Proof is in the pudding with her personal training as she herself looks absolutely amaaazing!! Can not wait to go back!

Fantastic experience: We have attended this gym since January 2022 for Personal Training with Katie ‘Train with Katie’. The gym is spacious, clean and has plenty of great equipment. The trainers at the gym are friendly/ approachable and equipped with lots of knowledge & information, their friendliness makes the experience more comfortable when attending a new gym, Gemma L.

Really good equipment with a wide variety of machines and weights to use. Plus it is super clean, has some great artwork and different membership options to suit everyone. I have used different gyms over the years, both chain and small business ones, and this is my favourite of them all.

Fantastic experience: I have tried most gyms around Stoke and this place is just my favourite! Not only do you get the best equipment but it is also filled with the best trainers around! This gym is friendly and I never feel uncomfortable like I have at other gyms! This place is stuck with me!! The trainers and owner are always so friendly.

Fantastic experience: Firstly this gym is the by far the best I have trained at in 12 years of training for multiple reasons. I joined when it first opened and seen the continuous improvements and ideas the gym owner (Andy) has. He has invested heavily on a ongoing basis to make the gym better for its members, whether that is buying more equipment, deco and artwork or adding new facilities and services, they have all made the gym a better place. Staff who have worked here past and present have always been polite and helpful as such are a credit to the gym. The atmosphere, the community within the gym, the constant reinvestment makes this gym special! I have seen and read a lot of the reviews must say I am disappointed to read the negative comments as they are completely untrue and have no basis. Thanks for all your hard work!

Recently installed air condition meaning it’s going to be a lot easier train in the hot sweaty summer months. All staff really approachable and friendly, really couldn’t recommend the place anymore. Fantastic experience: Best gym in stoke-on-Trent. The only gym I know where you speak to the staff like you’ve known them for ages and always very helpful. The gym is very clean and hygienic especially though covid has been a great thing. Everyone who goes the gym all make a great community together and all get along. All together id say the gym is very recommended and you won’t regret getting yourself down there !

Has been given to me lots of knowledge and advices since. Always received a help when needed. Through the whole time I am member of Apex I have met so many an amazing people who always makes my time way better during my session. What’s important to me the music at the gym is always dope what makes the atmosphere even better! a wide range of machines is a massive plus like for not the biggest size o the gym! Apex constantly improves! And that incredible wall art! Fully recommended
