Fantastic experience: CrossFit Putney has been the perfect event space for us. Having carried out countless gym based events, I would go as far as saying CFP has been the best to date in terms of layout, cleanliness, organisation along with the environment to create an atmosphere we were after. We utilised the space to host Gymsharks Conditioning Club, which saw up to 60 people attending weekly over the past six weeks – even with this number of people, the operations of the events were seamless end to end.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been to many CrossFit boxes, but what I experienced at CrossFit Putney is simply fantastic. The people and the coaches are amazing – you feel like you’ve known them for at least 10 years. It’s a great community and an absolutely top-notch box! I highly recommend anyone visiting London to check out CrossFit Putney.
Fantastic experience: CrossFit Putney has been brilliant! I’ve recently joined - everyone has been very friendly, helpful and coaches really know what they are talking about. If you have any sort of injury, they will always come up with alternative solutions which mean you don’t have to miss out on a workout.

Negative experience: I saw an advert for Crossfit Team Games admission/supporter ticket on the Skiddle App which was advertised as 31/08/2024 12pm to 5pm. I have attached the screenshot of the ticket and the price I paid for the ticket as proof. When I got to the venue at 12pm the lady on reception looked baffled and confused and didn't have a clue so she said she will check with one of the guys. She came back out and said to me this will start at 1pm. I told her in that case I will go for a walk and come back at 1pm. When I came back there was no Crossfit Team Games instead the whole place was almost empty with a few people outside talking to each other and some lady with her dog in the gym with the dog running around the gym area which is not very hygienic. I took pictures of the gym as you can see it is totally empty. Then after waiting for the event to start at around 1.20pm this guy spoke to me and I said when is the event going to start? To which he said it will start in 30 minutes so I said ok I will come back in another 30 minutes after 30 minutes I came back and still there was no Crossfit Team Games. The gym was again empty with nothing going on. At about 2pm I left because I could not wait around any longer. I have emailed them for a full refund but I am so disappointed because even though it was just £6 but I paid to travel here which was far from where I was coming from and cost me and wasted a whole day. Also I do not know if I will even get refunded for my ticket. Do Not advertise something where people pay money and waste there time and give a false day and time and when they get there they have paid for nothing. This is false advertising and fraud. If the company wants to challenge me on this they can ask the event organiser did this event take place and when? what time? Why was tickets sold as a 12pm to 5pm show and there was no show? Also check the venue cameras. If you advertise and sell ticket to any event then put a correct day and time and only advertise if the event will take place otherwise you are committing fraud by taking people's money for nothing. Why advertise an event if you have no idea when and if it will even take place?
Dear Ketan, I am very sorry to hear about your negative experience of the event that was hosted at CrossFit Putney last weekend. As I explained to you over email however, while CrossFit Putney does host our own classes, events and competitions for our members and the wider community, we also rent the space for other brands, companies and individuals to host their own events for their communities. The competition last weekend was a private booking that came in via a booking platform that event organizers use to book locations for their events. While we always make sure that the event is legitimate before taking the booking, we are not involved in the organization, marketing or running of the event, and it is an unfair expectation to expect us to be responsible for this. Of course we only want to host great events, even if they are 3rd party events so we as a business are also let down by this event. As I mentioned to you it sounds like the event organizers, Mospheric Events, organised and managed a very poor event. Their booking with us started at 1pm so I am not sure why they told you it would start at 12pm. However I do not believe they had any intentions to defraud you. I have sent you the contact details of the event organizers so you can contact them directly, as well as communicated with them through the platform they booked our space through on your behalf and requested they contact you to apologize, take responsibility for the poor running of the event and refund you your ticket and travel costs. I believe they have done that this week. We have therefore done everything in our power and tried to help you as much as possible so I think this negative review is extremely unfair as CrossFit Putney is not the responsible party for your poor experience. Fantastic experience: One of the best decisions to join this establishment, the coaches are super friendly and always willing to help - further they always ensure the correct form is being used to avoid any injury and adapt exercises where necessary. I'd recommend if you're thinking of joining CrossFit Putney, come for a class and you certainly won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: Joining this gym three months ago was one of the best decisions I've ever made! I was so tired of boring gym sessions, the same old weight workouts, and not seeing any progress. From day one, the patience, attention, and charisma of the coaches from the foundational classes - Sam S., Mike S., and Simon W. - made me feel super comfortable while learning all the different moves and having a good time. As I kept going, I got to train with other awesome coaches, like Mike G., Meg, and Corey Jay, who are all truly fantastic, inspiring coaches! They see you're doing something wrong or slightly off, and they kindly give you tips on how to build mobility and strength, so that you are on the path to being able to execute the movements correctly in the future. I am loving to see all the progress in these last 3 months - not only in terms of mobility and strength, but also in the way my body is changing and looking better. The folks working in the front desk are super nice too - Alain, Cory and the rest of the staff, always have a smile on their face and are always very welcoming! Also, their coffee - which is free for Unlimited members! - and smoothies are ON POINT! Another important thing for me to decide to stay is the sense of community in this gym. It's truly amazing - lots of people of all ages, body types, and nationalities. Everyone is super welcoming and friendly. The support and encouragement I get from both the coaches and other members help push me to work harder, and I really appreciate it. I hope that one day I can get as good as they all are! Highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a fun and motivating fitness experience! These guys GOT IT!

Fantastic experience: I've always been scared to join a Crossfit gym. It seemed overwhelming and really unachievable workouts. I decided to bite the bullet and attend the foundation classes to see if it's for me at the end of March - I loved it so much I joined immediately. The coaches are absolutely amazing, so supportive and knowledgeable. The workouts are seriously for anyone. The are scaled to your abilities - even with different injuries there will be something to do. I feel like I am challenged in a healthy way and it's made such a difference to my mental health. Fantastic experience: The best gym/exercise classes in London. I find CrossFit challenging in just the right way and after having been doing the classes for a few months I’ve become stronger and fitter. The coaches are really friendly and welcoming and so is everyone else. There’s a real community feel and everyone is always so supportive and willing to help if I find the exercises a bit difficult. I would highly recommend becoming a member, the actual gym itself is spacious, well equipped with an excellent coffee/shake bar.

Fantastic experience: Training there for almost 6 months now on 1-1 sessions with Joe. Joe is no.1 trainer in my experience. He ticks every box: he is super positive, brings real joy in every session, and is very professional. 100% recommend everyone. Gym is also very nice. It's clean, well-equiped, and most importany - people there are just fantastic. Getting a great support when hitting new milestones.

Fantastic experience: Was a little intimidating at first, but the team is very welcoming and the venue is very cool, under the railway arches. My fitness has improved dramatically but it’s also a fun workout that changes every day, so it’s always interesting.

Fantastic experience: Such a good gym. I joined as a novice to CrossFit and CrossFit Putney has got it nailed with the friendly environment and great varied workouts. I have particularly enjoyed Joes sweat classes on Friday and Sunday mornings and look forward to doing many more. Highly recommend to beginners or advanced levels.
