Positive experience: Classes are great - for sure check out Harry’s boxercise class, Toby for Hyrox and Claire for spinning for some pulse racing action!

Fantastic experience: This is a great gym in Wokingham. It's not the largest place, and some of the equipment might have originally could have been laid out more efficiently, but it is great nonetheless. If you are in Wokingham and need a great gym that typically isn't too busy, this is a great place. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I would like to amend my review (earlier rated as 1 star). I had the opportunity to visit énergie fitness back in June. It ended on a frustrating note due to an unexpected issue during the cancellation process, which was disappointing at first. However, the manager went above and beyond by personally reaching out to help resolve the situation, which I really appreciated. The staff here is truly fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to assist. Plus, the equipment is top-notch, among the best I’ve used. I’m glad the issue was sorted out because this gym genuinely cares about its members’ experience.

The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. I made the switch from a bigger gym company but don’t regret a thing. Even saved a few quid!!

Fantastic experience: I have only been with this gym since December 2023 and I enjoy myself every single time I am there, without a shed of a doubt. It's wonderful, from the gym space provided to the level of fitness equipment & accessories. Whenever I come to train 5 days a week, I know I am always going to be able to focus, work hard and hit new personal bests (PB’s) because of the hard work of all your PT’s, external instructors (spin instructors - Clare, Terri, Rachel & Mark absolutely brilliant at their craft and are a great asset to ENGF Wok’gham) and your general fitness staff. Who are always ready to answer if I have any questions and not turn me away because they are busy or even show me how to use a piece of equipment. Even the owner, Anthony - you have a lovely team and it is the reason why it is now my home gym and I will always choose Energie Fitness Wokingham. Thank you for also making the gym 24 hours/7 days a week!

Fantastic experience: I have visited a few times in the evening now. Great gym to get results. After a ghars workout, the air massage bed really helps those aching muscles.

Fantastic experience: I’ve never enjoyed going to the gym, always had gym anxiety and never felt comfortable going alone until I started at energie. The staff are very friendly and helpful, great equipment, clean environment and rarely have to wait to use a machine. The app is easy to use and classes are great too. Different membership options depending on your budget and needs. PTs are knowledgeable and always there to help you if needed, I Have weekly sessions with Arianna she is fantastic Atmosphere is great, I never bring headphone because I enjoy the music they play. For the first time ever I’ve kept to going to the gym on a regular basis and it’s all down to all the positives mentioned above!! I’ve recommended friends and family to join here and definitely recommend to anyone considering joining :)

Fantastic experience: Great gym, I was member from the day it had opened back in April 2021. After training at Energie for over a year, I decided to run my personal training business here. The staff are friendly, the memebers are great and there's a fantastic community vibe here. The gym is amazingly clean, the equipment is great and well looked after.

Fantastic experience: Joining Energie fitness in Wokingham has literally changed my life. I joined the gym soon after the pandemic was over. Initially I attended the Learn to Lift sessions. These were a great introduction to proper form & use of gym equipment. I think what struck me most is how friendly the staff are. They make you feel comfortable and they are so approachable. The equipment is of high standard and the gym is constantly cleaned. The 3 D scanner & hydro massage bed are a great addition. If it’s a well/equipped, friendly, inclusive, spacious gym you’re after, then look no further.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member at Energie Fitness Wokingham since they opened. What a wonderful gym and amazing team! The team are so friendly and approachable and go above and beyond to provide support to the members. The equipment is diverse and up to date. The gym floor and changing rooms are kept clean and tidy. There are hand sanitizer and antibacterial wipe stations dotted around for all to use. They offer a wide variety of classes and virtual classes suitable for all ages. I would highly recommend both Stuart Ratcliffe and Andy Smith's spin classes on a Tuesday and Thursday morning. Also, Julie Rathwell's shape (body pump) and pilates on a Wednesday evening and not forgetting Frankie Cohen's pilates class on a Friday lunchtime. Following your workout, why not relax one of the two awesome massage beds. You can even top up your tan on the sunbed. I would have no hesitation in recommending this gym. The teams commitment and dedication to ensuring the members have a great workout is commendable. You're the best!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for the last 8 months and moved from another gym in Wokingham of which I had been a member for 20+ years. I really wish I had moved over earlier! The staff always say hello and are friendly. Great at giving advice. The equipment is diverse and more importantly clean!! The classes are vast even though I am more of a gym girl, I love the spin class on the Sunday morning followed by the awesome massage beds. Really sets me up for the week. Mark is the best spin teacher ever and knows his stuff! Thank you Energie Wokingham! 5*'s to you!

Fantastic experience: The gym itself is excellent, very well equipped with a good range of plate loaded and pin machines, dumbbells, racks etc. There’s plenty of cardio equipment and the massage beds are a nice addition as well. Generally the gym is clean and tidy and the members try to look after the equipment. There is a diverse mix of members, young and old, but everyone is friendly and respectful, no hogging equipment and happy to let you work in with them. Staff are very friendly and helpful and there’s also a good mix of knowledgable Personal Trainers to work with if you need a bit of extra help.

Fantastic experience: I joined Energie, Wokingham looking to recover strength and mobility after several severe knee operations, and recovery has been made so much easier because of Energie, they have a lot of machines that focus on all aspects of leg mobility and strength, as well as lots of different upper body options. Also, the team at Energie are so friendly and very approachable, as well as the community that attend the gym in general, there are people of all walks of life and I never once felt out of place or self conscious at all. Facilities are brilliant too, always felt very accommodated for and supported at this gym.

Fantastic experience: This is the best gym in town. Before I joined I queried the commitment to equality and women's fitness, and was happy with their answer. Management are very committed to diversity and equalities and the customers reflect that commitment. There are lots of women, a range of ages and backgrounds and abilities. Energie has not disappointed me! There is an excellent series of classes aimed at new gym users, taught by women, to make us (new users, mostly but not exclusively women) comfortable using weights and equipment that are sometimes seen as for men. There are live classes and virtual classes as well. The gym is very clean and management are quick to fix issues that arise. The equipment is well maintained. I have FUN at this gym.

The kit is expansive and constantly getting updated with new equipment and the staff and personal trainers are top notch. They do all the fundamentals right and at a good price. Fantastic experience: I've covered the UK with my job and trained for over 10 years and I can comfortably say this is the best gym I've used for several reasons: High quality equipment, wide variety - including between different aspects of training, strength and conditioning, functional, cardio, boxing, studio, classes and even the hydro massage beds for the 10 minute wind down after a long session. Unlike any other gym I've been a member of, they've made good on all of their promises, the gym was brilliant when I joined and is now even better! New equipment consistently added as promised and I feel like the gym is constantly evolving and is just a great place to be. Also the staff are brilliant, very friendly and approachable. And a huge one for me and especially in light of recent events, the gym is always sparklingly clean. You couldn't ask for more. (This isn't a paid ad, I've been a member of the gym for nearly a year now)

Fantastic experience: I’m emailing to let you know how fabulous Issy has been in giving me confidence & motivation in the classes she has been taking. She really is a credit to Energy fitness. I’m not 21 anymore and as only to be expected not all exercises are as easy as they once used to be! However, Issy has known exactly how to help me, she’s adapted exercises for me and has played a huge part in encouraging me to challenge myself safely and help me to confidently achieve some of my goals. Please let her know about my feedback. One good turn deserves another Who knew going to the gym would be so high up on my priority list? Thank you once again.

Fantastic experience: On a free trial, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Even going above and beyond with requests. Looks like they have a good community vibe judging from the interactions of staff and members. Great gym with wide range of equipment and very inclusive to lots of abilities which is great to see. Even at 6/7pm it was still possible to get a machine/weight I wanted, no waiting around. After testing all the free passes in Wokingham I would probably choose this gym (Places gym being close second)

Positive experience: Too small.

Negative experience: A gym that has equipment crammed in leaving absolutely no floorspace to do your own workouts.  Equipment usually has large groups of youngsters using them so you can never get on it anyhow and they are signing up new members all the time with little regard for existing members. I've been to many gyms over the years and this has to be the worst I've joined.  Over priced and over subscribed resulting in you having to book your place or face being turned away. They can't even get the class bookings working properly,  you get a text an hour before if you've been put on a waiting list for a class which is usually not at full capacity anyhow! Only positive feedback I have is Andy's spin classes he's great!   I have terminated my membership! G

Fantastic experience: I've been to several gyms in and around Wokingham over the years and have to say that Energie Fitness is my favourite. Friendly approachable staff, clean facilities, and quality pieces of equipment - can't complain! It seems that every week there is a new piece of equipment in the gym - with the staff and management clearly wanting to improve the gym in line with what their members want. Another thing that impresses me about the gym is the support they give to other small businesses, offering member discounts several local companies.

Fantastic experience: This gym is great! I have been going since it opened and the staff is amazing, always friendly and available to assist. There are some great classes, ranging from yoga to hiit to spinning. And the equipment is new so it's always a pleasure to go there. Overall, a great gym that I would definitely recommend :)

Negative experience: Absolutely shocking policy in this gym. Wouldn't even bother trying to go. No one is helpful, too many unhelpful start members. They out number the gym users! Can't wait for the new lesuire complex to open opposite!

Fantastic experience: I have been with Energie since they first opened. The equipment is second to none and the staff are very well trained and friendly. I also, LOVE the Fit3D scanner they have onsite free to use for members which makes scales a thing of the past!

Fantastic experience: Modern, clean gym with lots of up to date equipment, all working! I go for the spin classes. They run several early morning ones plus the usual evening and weekend ones. They also do a lot of circuit type stuff. They have a lot of punch bags (bring your own gloves) and TRX rigs, all in good nick. The staff are friendly. Because it's the new gym in town, it's relatively quiet. But I think it's the best, and I've been a member at 2 other gyms in town.
