Fantastic experience: A terrific gym run by great people. The vibe is unique and you won't find it elsewhere. Arnie posters and decades of bodybuilding heritage on the walls are fabulous for encouraging a workout. There's an abundance of equipment and it's never too busy - well worth the price. Ian kindly gave me free training on my first day and it seems he has a warm relationship with his patrons. Asif and Rob at the front desk were also super. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Waited for weeks for a call back from the gym manager to resolve an issue with my membership. I chased up several times and was told I'd hear back soon and yet still nothing.

Fantastic experience: Superb Perfect gym for anyone who wants to achieve their goals. A variety of plate loaded machines, no waiting around for equipment. Everything is super clean, old school bodybuilding gym. Friendly and welcoming staff and I feel like I am smashing every workout, because at this gym I feel fully focused. This gym does not tolerate any idiots and is well organised. Feels like a real family atmosphere and everyone in this gym is focused and always helping each other. This is a propper gym

Fantastic experience: This is a really fundamentally good gym. Doesn’t do too much, just gets the job done. If you want to actually go somewhere, put in work, and reap the benefits, subscribe to Dowe Dynamics. This place is old school, run by the legend himself, Ian Dowe. The man just knows what he’s doing and what he’s talking about. Staff is incredibly welcoming. 10/10 gym. Asif from the front desk is a great guy as well. Love this place and the community.

Fantastic experience: I’m from America and visiting for a semester. This is better than any gym in the states and the guidance of Ian and the staff is top notch. Would highly recommend for anyone trying to build strength and muscle.

Positive experience: I attended this gym for 3.5 years, leaving recently. It's a proper old school bodybuilding gym with some serious drawbacks, and continually-changing management that always fail to make basic improvements that would improve the customer experience. Pros: Decent equipment, lots of free weights, space utilised very well, conveniently located, membership does not involve a rolling contract which ends up saving you money. Cons: Small, cramped+dank downstairs, no water fountain, not particularly friendly, 90% of lockers permanently unavailable.

Fantastic experience: Great place to train, great place to get motivated, all your questions can be answered, there is also a great range of drinks available and nutrition bars for after you’ve finished your training this gym is definitely recommended.

Positive experience: This gym was missing a few things that I like to use for my workout. It didn't have TRX, a dedicated mat area, bosu ball / balance trainer, or exercise balls. There was a decent amount of space, so maybe they could get rid of a couple of the less-used machines and replace them with some equipment that can be used for more of a functional exercise routine. Seemed a lot like a traditional pumping-iron type of gym.

Fantastic experience: Amazing personal service, had a trial and trained with Charlie. He is such a nice guy, time went by quickly although I was def not on my confort zone, I am completely out of shape. He was very patient and explained it all step by step. I have never experienced such a good one to one training in any gym. Thanks so much

Positive experience: This is a no nonsense, no frills, powerhouse for personal fitness. Great value monthly/daily rates and no contracts to boot!!! Here you will find a PT to suit your needs and their rates aren't bad either, or you can do your own thing, either way this is what I call a proper gym. Don't take my word for try it! :-)

Fantastic experience: Having only started going to the gym, I had the intention of hiring a personal trainer assist me for a few sessions in order to figure out a routine for myself. These few sessions quickly turned into the five weeks I have been training under Darren with plans to continue in the long future. He tailors his body transformation programmes around the wants and desires of his clients, constantly mixing up exercise routines weekly to continuously shock your body into reaching it's true potential. The training is hard, but extremely satisfying and he's very interactive about his teachings, explaining how and why he chooses the particular workout and how it works your body. This has given me a greater understanding of how the muscles work and how best to maximise my growth. To say Darren has helped me would be an understatement, as I feel his wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry has changed my life, putting my goal of becoming the strongest version of my self in clear sight. She also provided a rounded service, focusing on nutrition as well as excersise so that I achieved my goals quicker. I definitely saw a difference and got more toned which was exactly what I wanted.
