Strength Factory

Negative experience: I purchased Strength Factory's log book on the 2nd of October. I never received an order conformation however payment had been taken from my account. Because of this, I wanted to get in touch with them to see if payment went through correcty. I contacted them on the 5th via their website under the "contact us" section. I couldn't find a phone number or direct email. I got a reply from them saying, "All is good I have completed your order and should be with you in the next couple of days." on the 7th. I assume from this that the company has received payment from me. On the 14th, I emailed again and said that I still hadn't received the logbook. I had no response. On the 20th, I emailed again and stated that I'd be happy to wait if there had been an error of some sort of error somewhere down the line. In the same email I also asked for a refund and still till this day (25th), no reply. So, it has not been a pleasing experience. I've ordered a few log books in the past from Strength factory with no issues at all. However, this experience differs vastly. I will not be purchasing from this company again.

Negative experience: I approached the strength factory via matt’s IG as i liked the posting and what the online coaching had to offer. I was coming out of depression due to some breavement and wanted to get my life back on track which my doctor recommended fitness would be a good goal and plan. I had a call scheduled with Johnny who cancels the day before even though i sent him some history of my background in my fitness journey, i then tried to contact him on what’s app and also contact matt but both ghosted me and just weren’t very helpful at all. complete waste of my time in going to them for some help and terrrible service as they just didn’t want to communicate with me and decided to ignore me even though i did a lot of research to find a credible online coaching platform but my experience with them has been a disaster with poor customer service - wouldn’t recommend! they didn’t even want to discuss anything with me on a five min call , really disappointed and annoyed by this company.

Fantastic experience: I started the over 40s MTB programme around 5 weeks ago, and I already can feel a large difference in my strength on and off the bike and starting to see a difference physically, the videos are excellent and a great guide for the workouts, Ben has always responded if I had any questions and I plan to keep this regime permanently now. Advice to anyone considering just crack on, you won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience: Great range of machines and weights available. Super clean and well kept. Definite focus on all round strength and fitness instead of the all out cardio and cross-fit approach that many modern gyms are taking.

Fantastic experience: Great place, friendly staff, worked the lads hard, encouraged them to set goals as well as making it an enjoyable experience for them. The owner did it as a fundraiser for Westhoughton Lions RL which was outstanding. Thanks

Negative experience: I couldn't get in with my own finger print 4 times this happend and I was stood for over 20 minutes wait or trying find someone to help . I was ignored by staff so I told them if I have to wait again I'm not paying as I'm bad on my legs . At first they was so nice then it changed when they got my money . Now they are send threats by message about money . I don't pay if I can't get in so I left now there really quick at trying get there money shame they aren't as quick at fixing my finger print to get In . I have asked them to ring me and they want so I can't and want pay for a shocking service I have every message and email and text I have sent and still ignoring me . If I was someone going join I wouldn't as when they get you sign up they ignore you unless you are one of them . So ever ring me to sort this or I will get legal advice as you didn't stick to you're end of the agreement

Fantastic experience: Outstanding gym with a great atmosphere. Offering enough equipment for different levels of fitness and activity from bodybuilding to powerlifting. Next door is the Tattooed Baker.....

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of the strength factory for over 5 years. It’s such a amazing atmosphere of like minded people who are setting goals and hitting them on a daily basis. I’ve now become a member of the sf hybrid centre I’m so looking forward to the next chapter of my fitness journey.
