Fantastic experience: Had a free trial here and was one of the best independent gyms I have been to in ages. Most of the time you get good equipment but old and faded interior or decor. Not this place! Huge range of equipment, dumbbells up to 70kg, multiple bars and very clean interior. Has a useful carpark as well.

Fantastic experience: Lovely clean setup with great equipment and facilities. Friendly, helpful staff and a good vibe about the place. Large selection of free weights, resistance machines, functional training apparatus and cardio equipment. Capped off with a lovely hot sauna, needless to say, I am pleased with my visit.

Fantastic experience: Quality independent gym, has all the equipment you could possibly need from free weights to cardio, spin room, steam room, sun beds, coffee shop that does amazing coffee and cake. Always spotless from floor to ceiling and the friendly staff are always there to help with anything you need gym related or not. Top gym, top staff and all the people who train there are decent people too, a really nice friendly gym environment

Negative experience: Poor gym, has the right equipment however the owner is very unfriendly. He has put a family of 3 off going down to the gym. As well as making a young lady very uncomfortable.
Dear Daniel, Thank you for your "honest" review. It would have been nice to receive at least 3 stars for having the "right" equipment! We spent some time and expense separating ourselves from other facilities in the area on that basis! Nevertheless, it's a real shame that you and your father feel it's acceptable to bully our female members off the equipment when you decide they have used it too long, as I don't believe you would conduct yourself in the same way with our male members or indeed myself or our team. We're generally a pretty friendly bunch, but we do however take exception to that type of behaviour, so this will likely contribute to the indifference you may feel you have experienced. We do hope you find a facility with less of a moral compass and lower standards for their members, as you may need it to really settle in. Ps, please do extend our best wishes and swift recovery to your partner, as I know she's spent some time discussing her injury and recovery strategies with us these past few months. Positive experience: This is an amazing gym with some amazing people. The equipment is great (primal) and the layout is good. It is small granted but that doesn’t stop the availability that it holds. I do hope it can expand just a little bit more in the future as then more equipment and a little more space for it all and then more people. It can like any gym have busy spells but the system in place is app controlled so you see the amount of booking in slots on a per hour basis. Regarding this the staff really do assist you with this. But the app itself is bob on with how it works and feels secure plus when you book your slot and like myself book in a few days advance, a reminder can be notified of a hour before. There is a great selection of equipment and a virtual spin room which is perfect. Then the steam room is a piece of heaven

Fantastic experience: Stumbled upon this place as I couldn't find anything in the Hoylandswaine / Penistone area that did easy drop in days. Was stunned by what we found - high-tech gym equipment, really friendly staff, loads of machines and a really fun cardio room with a spin room that you can use anytime with pre recorded lessons. You can tell it's run by enthusiasts, lots of attention to detail. Well worth a tenner for a day pass and the weekly and monthly rates were reasonable. Will definitely be going back here every time I'm back for a visit.
