Fantastic experience: This is a really great climbing gym. There's a lot of space so the climbs are nicely spaced out, with a lot for different levels. The cafe is also really nice, it's in a great location and the outside boulder is a nice touch. Really friendly and helpful staff too!

Fantastic experience: Posting a birthday party review on here as I couldn’t see very many and this place deserves recognition for being a fab birthday experience. My daughter had her 9th birthday here today. This is the first time any of the children had tried boulder climbing. Sam was an incredible host. He was so good with the girls. The games were a great introduction, he was then there to guide them and give them support when needed. All the staff were friendly and welcoming actually. The space was spacious, clean, light and well laid out. It has a good sitting area and cafe. The different areas gave the kids enough variety so they wasn’t bored. They do not offer a party food option but there is a room you can use to do the birthday cake celebration which was great. I have one very happy 9 year old. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Super friendly staff here. And probably the cleanest and brightest climbing gym I've been too. This will definitely be my new local climbing gym. I like it.

Fantastic experience: Started going regularly with some friends and we're really enjoying it. The staff are all really nice and easy going. The climbing space is really clean and there's a few different areas to climb in. I would say make sure to bring water or grab something from the cafe as it can get quite hot but there are balcony areas open that you can go out and cool off on.

Fantastic experience: An excellent gym, it is part of the same group as my local Chimera in Tunbridge Wells. It is very spacious and has lovely views out onto the Dockyards area from all the big windows. The outdoor boulder is a really unique feature that we enjoyed a lot. The climbs are colour coded for their grades, and the setting is varied. Technical and challenging.

Fantastic experience: We organised a climbing session for pupils from New Horizons School, and we have to say we were really impressed with how well the staff at the centre managed the training. Just the right balance of teaching and fun, even when making sure they were properly warmed up and had stretched prior to climbing. It's a fantastic venue, with loads of space for the kids to really put themselves to the test. Thank You!

Fantastic experience: As a beginner climber all of the staff I've interacted with have been extremely friendly and have given great advice on how to improve my climbing and are extremely encouraging and clearly enjoy the sport and helping others at getting better at it(they also make a great cup of coffee). The routes are fun and challenging, would definitely recommend to anyone local looking to get into climbing like myself!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic. I'm really happy we have a climbing gym in Medway and such a good one we have in Chimera. Really great gym with plenty of really great routes to suit everyone. There is so much space in there with lots of seating, balconies, an outdoor wall, a training gym downstairs, and a good well stocked cafe. Parking is always an issue around dockside now they've started charging but you can validate at the gym. Prices are pretty standard for climbing gyms. If you're thinking on going a few times best to think about getting the session bundle deal or even a membership. Really great climbing gym, so happy it's here.

Fantastic experience: Had an amazing session on Sunday! The facilities are second to none in Kent. The staff are super kind and genuinely love their job. Fantastic gym we will definitely be back regularly even though it's nearly an hour's drive away.

Fantastic experience: A very high standard climbing gym. Spacious luminous and very nicely designed. Setting is great and creative. Caters to all skills and abilities. The best thing is that “easy” routes incorporate holds one would usually find in more advanced routes. A very good variety of problems. The cave is super, it can be used as a traverse wall. Genius! Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Wil definitely make it my habitual climbing gym.

Fantastic experience: Bright, spacious, nice views from windows, almost too tidy for a climbing gym... Hopefully this will be new standards for our scruffy sport! And yeah the route setting is decent as you'd expect from the chimera, there is a 50 degree 12x12 kilter plus a board with woodies from beastmaker, and an outside boulder... Wait what? Climbing outdoors; sounds weird.
