SURBITON BOXING CLUB is a community amateur sports club that offers great training facilities and encourages members to keep fit and maintain a healthy lifestyle through the sport of boxing.
Established in 2013, Surbiton Amateur Boxing Club is affiliated to England Boxing, with the aim of providing a safe and productive environment for the training and coaching of Olympic-style boxing.
All training is led by a close-knit team of fully qualified coaches, who will give guidance and advice during the sessions.The team share a passion for teaching and passing on their knowledge. Directed by the Head Coach, Harry Morris, the coaching team align their teachings with a shared objective - to produce a fundamentally sound boxing training program.
Our structured classes will help you master the fundamental elements of Olympic style boxing. Once ready to compete, carded boxers will have the opportunity to represent Surbiton A.B.C. as a club boxer at Regional, National and International level competitions.
An annual club membership (costing £30 for Juniors, £40 for Seniors) is required from the 4th session onwards. Competitive boxers will require a membership to England Boxing along with Surbiton ABC annual membership.
SURBITON BOXING CLUB welcomes all boxers aged 10 and over. We run separate sessions based on ability & age groups. To produce a high standard of competitive boxers, Amateur boxing sessions and Keep-Fit boxing sessions are kept separate. Click here to find out about Keep-Fit Boxing.
The 1st sop for all new joiners aged 10-17 yrs who are new to SBC. We recommend the boxer attends 4 x New Joiner sessions before any other session.

Fantastic experience: Excellent boxing gym. Supportive members and extremely knowledgeable coaches. Perfect place for learning the intricacies of boxing and learning major skills. Highly recommend. However, i would say that the sparring is quite infrequent and unorganised at times.

Negative experience: Beware if sparring at this gym, some people here have ego problems and will go hard without warning. Besides that everyone else is nice and the coaches are nice, but the coaches should be more aware of those with ego problems.
